This was a cracking read. DCI Luke Wiley returns to his job in the Met when a young woman is murdered and a picture of Luke is found in her pocket. There are links to the murder of Venetia Wright which has haunted Luke.
We get to know the story over two timelines and I enjoyed how these were linked together until we finally get to the reason why Luke had left his job. I was convinced I knew who the killer was and I was totally wrong. There is also time for an interesting twist at the end which leaves me on tenterhooks now and will definitely having me reading the next one.
Chloe Little has been discovered murdered, with a picture of ex-DCI Luke Wiley found in her possession. Wiley attaches himself to the case and his old partner DS Hana Sawarsky. What is the connection to the death of Venetia Wright 15 months earlier. An entertaining modern mystery
