No so fake fun!

4.5 rounded up to 5 stars.

I loved this story. It was fun to see Jeremy, who was allergic to weddings in book 1, fall head over heels for McKenna just from reading a file on her.

I also that that the steamy scenes were pretty great and filled with some Jeremy dirty talk which I could appreciate.

I read it.....and can't remember it.....😂😂😂😂

Fuck man, I can't remember much but that it was cute but with all these novellas, too short!

She doesn't believe he's in love with her and thinks its just temporary and he's like "nah ma delicious dumpling, you mine and this ain't fake okur?"

It was fast and furious.....maybe we should say very fast and furious #9 😂 since fast X sucked azz

Another fun and sexy read from the amazing writing duo known as Fiona Davenport. Never have I ever gone wrong with one of their books. From start to finish their words and imagination have kept me entertained. And Jeremy and McKenna’s story was no different.

Jeremy is an absolute caveman from the moment he lays eyes on McKenna. His original plan to take possession over her grandfather’s ocean beach house falls to the wayside when he realizes he’d much rather take possession over her. And when she jokingly suggests they become fake engaged, Jeremy finds the “in” he is needing to make her his. Forever.

Truly a fantastic read, Not-So Fake Fiancé was a delicious, well written delight to read. Davenport only writes the best! 5 Stars.

So in this insta-love story (second in this collection), McKenna is due to inherit her grandfather's house, a house that developer Jeremy wants.

When her matchmaking grandfather arranges a meeting between these two, sparks fly, and Jeremy decides the house isn't what he wants - it's McKenna. No surprise, he makes it happen, and they are married and pregnant within a week!

Alpha, controlling, and caveman behavior? Absolutely. But then, this is what this author duo does! These stories are quick, steamy and easy to enjoy.

I recommend this author and the many other works in the catalog.

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.

Grandpa Corbin plays matchmaker for his artist granddaughter McKenna and real estate developer Jeremy.
Grandpa owns a house that sits on a prime piece of property in Malibu that Jeremy wants. Grandpa who just had hip surgery tells McKenna the house will one day be hers soon, she says she would rather have her grandpa live longer than inherit the house sooner, so he says he will deed the house to her if she gets engaged. Then he invites Jeremy to discuss the house but tells him the ultimate decision for the house’s future is in his granddaughter’s hands. So Jeremy calls and sets up a meeting with McKenna. He is immediately intrigued by McKenna, her voice alone has gotten a reaction out of him, he avoids women but he can’t avoid the arousal he feels right now. He gets his security firm to get any and all info on her, when he sees her picture he knows she will be his. She is very attracted to him when she meets him and blurts out that if he wants the house he has to get engaged to her. He agrees.
She thinks the engagement is fake but he knows it’s the real deal, he takes her ring shopping and after they go back to his place and have their first time together, she’s a virgin no mention of his past.
They go see grandpa who’s thrilled they are together. Things get ugly when her parents who have ignored her her whole life show up because grandpa has deeded to house to McKenna. They tell her they know her engagement is fake and that Jeremy will leave her once she doesn’t own the house. He rushes in to protect her and tells her parents that he loves her and doesn’t need the house. More yelling and threats, grandpa puts an end to it and her horrible parents leave. More I love yous and them getting married the next day. Epilogue with his brothers and a few friends at their monthly poker night and McKenna pregnant. They eventually move into the Malibu house with their two kids how love their great grandpa.

Not-So Fake Fiance, Book 2 of the Not-So min-series, was about 31-year-old Jeremy Bardo, a billionaire real estate mogul and co-owner of JB Capital, and 21-year-old McKenna Sage, an artist and the owner of an art gallery.

Side Note: The epilogue of this book has a spoiler regarding Book 3 of the series. Also, this mini-series is interconnected with The New York Nighthawks series.

McKenna met Jeremy after her grandfather had given him her contact information. Jeremy and his brothers (Jeremy, James, and Jason were triplets) had been buying up oceanfront property and the only holdout was her grandfather. While McKenna had been told by the old man that she would inherit his home upon his death, he also told her if she were engaged, he would immediately deed the property to her as an engagement present.

Jeremy had finally managed to get an interview with Corbet Sage, only to learn from him that McKenna had the final say as to whether or not to sell the property. After contacting her and arranging a time to meet, he got his head of security to do a background check on her. Once he had read the file, the property was no longer his sole object. He wanted McKenna for his own.

During their meeting at a coffee house, McKenna inadvertently informed Jeremy about her grandfather's mandate, and he took full advantage of it by saying it was a good idea for them to pretend to be engaged, although he didn't plan for it to be temporary. He meant to marry her for real.

While both characters were well-developed and mature, it felt as if they were both a little bit too quick to accept things and people. I guess I'm saying that they were overly trusting. There was very little room or time for growth.

This story moved at a lightning pace and had only a touch of angst, but a boatload of drama. The usual rollercoaster ride only had a few minor twists and turns, but it was enough to enhance the enjoyment of the story. There wasn't any push/pull between the main characters, and only a minor bit of a conflict. All in all, the story needed more grit than it had because it felt like the characters were just "going with the flow" and never had any set goals. The plot was flat, and the storyline was a tad too unrealistic. Not many women in their right mind would agree to a fake engagement, have copious amounts of sex with a stranger on the first night that they met, let alone agree to move in with the man just a day or two later.

Even with all that said, it was still so much better than the first book of the series that I gave it a four-star rating. Even with everything it lacked and how farfetched it was.

Another Fiona Davenport ARC! Their books are always so fun to read and Not-So Fake Fiancé was no different. This book might've given me more anxiety than their books usually do because I for some reason felt like the other shoe would drop any minute. But that was a me problem.

Jeremy and McKenna had a sweet story. Neither were looking for a relationship and I think the whole being fake fiancé's to each other kind of ruined some of the story for me, since I would've preferred them to just get together without fake dating. But again that's a me problem. I just felt weird about the whole thing since it was just a little comment and suddenly they were buying rings.

But that said... I liked this match. I felt like Jeremy and McKenna completed each other. McKenna was born rich and hated what money did to her parents. Jeremy on other hand worked for his money and just wanted to use that money to show how much he cared about McKenna without really saying anything. They say that actions show more than words and I loved that they both wanted more than being in a fake relationship. This was a fast insta love but I liked it.

All in all I enjoyed this book and I loved how supportive the grandfather was.

This is book number 2 of the Not-So series and focuses on Jeremy and Mckenna. Jeremy is a successful real estate developer and Mckenna is an artist. These two were brought together by a wise grandfather who knew two people that would be perfect together. Jeremy is looking to purchase Mckenna’s grandfather's house so he can finally begin his development in the area. When he finally secures a meeting with the owner, Mckenna’s grandfather tells him that the decision on the house is in Mckenna’s hand and gives him her information. As soon as Jeremy sees Mckenna for the first time he immediately knows that he has found his soulmate. I absolutely loved how these two got together and how great they were together. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

Jeremy and McKenna ❤️

When McKenna's grandfather gifts her the dream home that she grew up in, she thinks it's a joke. Because she doesn't get the home until she gets engaged. Jeremy and his brothers flip properties. Jeremy is in love with the community where McKenna's grandfather's home is. But when he meets with McKenna's grandfather, he tells him that he has to speak with McKenna. One phone call and one picture, that was all it took for Jeremy to know that McKenna was his. When they meet and McKenna tells him about the engagement clause, he sees this as a way to get his girl. Or, is he just using her to get the property? These two were great together!! I definitely hated McKenna's parents!!!

McKenna was raised by her grandfather after being neglected by her parents. They live in her grandpa's house. Now that he is older, he wants the house go to McKenna. The stipulation is, get engaged and the house is yours. Jeremy is flipping houses and his new Projekt is the street where McKenna lives. He meets her to negotiate a price for selling her house to him, but everything changes when she suggests a fake engagement.... But Jeremy doesn't want a fake fiancee, he wants it all 😉 Instalove, sweet, fun to read, romantic, steamy, with a J/P obsessed man, OTT and safe with a sweet HEA and no drama😍😍😍😍

I love me a scheming grandpa and that's exactly what McKenna's grandfather Corbin is. Jeremy and McKenna were so cute together. jeremy is allergic to wedding and all things relationship until he sees a picture of McKenna. The granddaughter to the person he is trying to purchase a piece of land from.

Their story was short sweet and filled with so much heat. These ladies always bring the heat and this one was no different. I loved the bond that Jeremy and Corbin had by the end of the book. Now let's see Jeremy's brothers get their HEA!!!

Once again, I have fallen in love with the author duo's book which happens with almost every one of them. It's no secret that they are my favourite and go to especially for insta love. I fell in love with Jeremy and Mckenna from the start. And was rooting for them to get together as I got to know more or them. They were simply one of the most adorable couples and there chemistry was sizzling hot. It was amazing how things unravelled. I loved how they were set up and cannot wait for his siblings books. Thanks to the author duo for the advanced copy of this great read.

Another wonderful and exciting story to read from the favorite and amazing duo Fiona Davenport 😍.
It's a insta-love story that you can dive right in. Jeremy didn't disappoint me to his Alpha male 🥵 and caveman style unleashes🥰 which I really love and how Mckenna seems to be very kind and loving person towards to the people who she really loves. The way her grandfather becomes their matchmaker makes more interesting to happen. I love her Grandfather because he is also a very funny and cunning person 😂.

For me it's 4.5 stars 💖💖💖

I thought that this was awesome book. I enjoyed Jeremy and McKenna together. All it took for Jeremy is to see a picture of McKenna to know that she was meant to his. These two fall hard and fast while McKenna still things that it’s all fake. There is a little bit of drama with McKenna parents but nothing can come between their love. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait for more.

Another insta-love quick fun read from Fiona Davenport. Jeremy wasn’t looking for any kind of relationship just looking to purchase the last house needed for his companies project. When he finally gets the meeting with the owner he’s told he’ll have to meet with his granddaughter. When Jeremy lays eyes on McKenna for the first time all his plans go out the window and his new focus is to make McKenna his. This was a quick sweet read.

I must say, if you’re looking for insta-love stories then Fiona Davenport are the authors for you. Jeremy knew at first glance that McKenna was his only love. Protective and possessiveness is the name of the game. McKenna’s grandfather knew just the person to make his granddaughter happy. I love a meddling grandparent. You get a little bit of everything laughter, crying, and everything in-between. I can’t wait for the books in this series. Keep them coming ladies, another great series.

Great read

I loved this story, the flow from the 1st book to this one was seamless even though many many years have passed since book 1 in this series was released. These two are perfect for each other and you notice that right along with her grandfather from the very beginning. This story is safe from OW/OM and breakup drama and is packed with steamy scenes.

Unbelievably good

McKenna and Jeremy became acquaintances by chance with a little unbeknownst matchmaking. As soon as Jeremy sees her picture and then in person, he lets himself fall and she follows hopelessly. Together they are too sweet and hot. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Jeremy & McKenna

Short, sweet and steamy! Jeremy and McKenna’s story was fast paced and oh so good! Instalove on both sides, but McKenna needed to catch up and Jeremy jumped at his first possible opportunity. He’s a total Neanderthal and she loves it. (And so did I!)

So good! Jeremy was whoa lol. She didn't stand a chance. Loved Grandpa, despised her parents. The brothers and friends were fun and as always, the nod to previous characters, like Jonah, is always great! Hea🤍
