The life of two obscure characters is unwillingly connected in a recursive change of events. The reason for these encounters is unknown although they started to suspect that there is an underlying pattern, and to reveal it, they will have to navigate uncharted waters. Despite their unwillingness to accept the truth, there is only one way to escape from these cycles, and the time to do it is ending soon.

About the author

Baltar Xinzo is the pen name of an Argentine-Canadian author based in Ottawa. A scientist and engineer by training, Xinzo writes reflective tales that often have a dark undertone typical of the noir genre but also have a sense of hope and optimism atypical of that subgenre. While Xinzo has defined his style as 'analytical fiction,' he frequently dives into existentialism, repurposing literary elements from genres such as cyberpunk, hard science fiction, transhumanism, and transrealism.

This scifi story intrigues you to wonder where it goes next... and you would not have guest where it finally be. I've to reread again to enjoy the finer twists and details. (like the opening first quote!)

Look forward to read more of this (seemingly new) author's works! I'm glad I found this by chance.
