Never Again, No More 2: Getting Back to Me by Untamed
Drink: Old Friend
Music: Keep Ya Head Up by 2Pac
Audible: Wesleigh Siobhan: Can’t nobody f*ck wit her. She brought a different air to this audible. She had the maturity of Charice. I felt the fear for LaMeka. The desperation of Lucinda. And the indecisiveness of Trinity. Wesleigh is not to be played with. The audible is a must.
Trinity: If, “wanting more,” was a person it would be Trinity. Her thirst to be more than just Pooch’s girl led her into a whirlwind of emotions that Terrence evoked. He wanted her to want more for herself.
Charice: If, “leveling up,” was a person it would be Charice. My girl no longer was settling for the scraps that Ryan was trying to offer. Lincoln helped her to unmask the goddess that was always there.
LaMeka: If, “enough is enough,” was a person it would be LaMeka. LaMeka started fighting for LaMeka. She knew that her and her boys deserved better, and that Tony wasn’t equipped to be the man that they needed.
Lucinda: If, “the past coming back to haunt you,” was a person it would be Lucinda. She was torn between being the Spanish Fly or Lucinda. Her insecurities were her worst enemy. Aldris truly loves and respects her even knowing her past.
This story shows what adversity can do to the best of people. Book two really brought you into the girl’s family’s and their home lives. You’ll come to know and understand these girls so much more. The four friends definitely went through extreme highs and lows but were always there to support each other.

This 2nd book was as good as the first one. The women went through a lot with the men in their lives but they all seem to find happiness in the end. I'm looking forward to reading the next book.
What can I say? The sequel to "Never Again…No More" picked up right where part one left off. LaMeka is still with Tony, but at what price? Lucinda is trying to move on with her life, post Raul...but he is not going to make it easy for her. Charice is still living with Pooch, while battling her feelings for Terrence and Trinity is still hiding her relationship with Lincoln.
My emotions were all over the place while reading this page turner. It even sparked a few text messages to the author, who responded without hesitation.
I highly recommend this book and the series. You will thank me later.
