The Rebel Walking Series continues with Taron and Ivy's story, Heaven Sent. The explosive chemistry that these two share ignites a relationship of epic proportions.
He has been dubbed 'the panty stealer', but Taron Walker has his eyes set on the beautiful, full of life, Ivy Adams. Ivy doesn't usually put up with the player type, yet there is something about Taron that has her intrigued. Taron must leave to go on tour with Rebel Walking and Ivy will be left to face serious struggles on her own. Will she reach out to Taron for help, or will she push him away? Can these two find happiness in each other's arms, or will they tear each other's world apart?

Oh poo...I was starting to really enjoy this one, and was expecting it to become way better than the first...and then....BAM! It happened...that moment when the heroine does something in the story that just pisses you off. Yup! Ivy did a big no no when it came to lead singer Taron...who is our hero in this story. Once she decided to be a doorknob....I checked out. I still finished...but I literally became unemotional about anything...I don't want to ruin the story for anyone but I will put a spoiler up for anyone who is interested. This is a huge peeve of mine and I just have no patience for it.
This is a series that I may continue as it does have its moments that I do enjoy. The rock group that Taron and Talon (twins) are a part of are great, and some of the other members still have stories to be told. I may come back to it, or I may not..
** I received a free eCopy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review **
I cannot say enough good things about this series and Hilary Storm's writing. She has done an amazing job of writing a book(s) that her fans can appreciate and characters that we have no choice but to fall in love with.
If you've read the first book in this series, you're probably thinking it doesn't get any better than Talon. You would be wrong. Talon was awesome but Taron is everything that his twin is and then some. I expected him to be a little harder to like. I thought I would have to warm up to him and all of his bad boy, rocker ways but I was hooked on him almost instantly. He is absolutely perfect book boyfriend material. He's hot, fun, badass, and a sex god. I'm not even jealous that Ivy gets him and not me because she's pretty awesome too. All of the characters are.
The story sucks you in from the very beginning. Ivy and Taron are the cool, fun-loving couple we expect them to be and then tragedy strikes for Ivy. She withdrawals from Taron and even from herself but there are a lot of people there to help her, most of all Aiden who turns out to be one of my favorite characters. There is a scene near the end of this book that is amazingly written. I don't want to give any of it away but its heart breakingly sad and you will need the tissues. I cried like a baby.
Amazing Book! Amazing Series! Amazing Author! I truly hope that there will be more books to this series because I can't wait to read more about this band and their friends that I have grown to love so much.
I loved Taron and Eaven's story so was delighted to finally get to read Talon and Ivy's story and boy what a story. One minute I was grinning and needing a cold shower and the next I was wiping tears from my eyes, thinking 'no no no'.
Talon and Ivy's story is one rollercoaster ride with them both meeting their match. Both like to play, both are never serious, until they finally get together and then they combust.
In Heaven's Sent, which has a totally amazing cover, we find bad boy Talon's caring side, which will make all the ladies swoon. His jealousy is obvious when Cowboy is in the picture again, but he's playing a hero role this time around and I really hope Hilary Storm has a book planned for him. He needs someone of his own to care for.
I finished this in one sitting and wait VERY patiently for Luke and Holden's books.
I had been really looking forward to reading this book after I read the first book in the series! I had the amazing opportunity to be on the Blog Tour for the first book and I'm stoked to be back on the Blog Tour for the second book! Heaven Sent was amazing! I really enjoyed the first book in this series, but I have to say that I loved this book more! I connected more with the characters and I thought that the plot was a lot more structured! Overall, this book was amazing! I couldn't put it down! The plot of this book was full of twists and turns! I was instantly sucked into it! I couldn't read it fast enough! I did have a have a problem with the first book as a lot of it was written with "I am" instead of "I'm" which personally frustrates me in a book, but this book was written much better and a lot of the book wasn't written with "I am"! So, for me the plot was perfect! I really enjoyed it and I loved the direction that the author took the plot in! The characters were as amazing as what they were in the first book! Taron and Ivy were both the main characters and I fell completely in love with the both of them! We meet Taron in the first book and we get our first glimpse of his personality and such, but this book was his book and he was such a different person in it! Finally going inside his head was amazing! He's such a guy! Seriously! I loved how protective he was of Ivy and how much he loved her! My opinion of Taron changed a lot in this book compared to the first book! I loved his protective instinct and I could really see that from the very first moment he had genuine feelings for Ivy! Ivy was such a sweet person! I connected brilliantly with her! She goes through quite a lot in this book, but I loved her determination to protect those around her even if it meant her being in the firing line! She was so brave! I also loved that most of the characters from the first book were back in this book! It was exciting to see them again and see how they're developing! I'm really looking forward to reading the next book in this series and I'm excited to find out who's book it's going to be! I'll definitely be reading it regardless of who's book it is! I'm excited to find out though! I love the cover for this book! It's pretty damn hot and I love how well it suits the book! Big thank you to Hilary for an ARC of Heaven Sent and to Feisty Girls Book Blog for having me on the Blog Tour!
I was sent this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.
Everyone that knows me has heard me rant and rave about how much I loved In a Heartbeat. It was the perfect book combining sex, romance and rock stars. And then along came Heaven Sent. Oh My God. This book is the perfect storm of romance/ erotic novels. It has everything: crazy stalkers, sex (make that scorchingly hot sex), angst, drama, action, romance, and rock stars sexy enough to jump start your libido. I didn't think that this book, being a sequel, could top the first book. I was so wrong. Heaven Sent explodes from the very first page. Ivy and Taron are so full of raw, sexual chemistry that at times it felt like I was going to need a bucket of ice. Taron may be the alpha male but Ivy is definitely his female counterpart. She loves sex, knows that she wants Taron and makes no bones about it.
I absolutely fell in love with Ivy. She is strong, sassy and sarcastic. She has no trouble standing up to Taron and telling him like it is. She makes no apologies for who she is. Taron is a smart ass rocker with sex and Ivy on the brain. He is cocky, jealous, protective, stubborn and brash but oh so lovable. These are fun, fully developed characters. We also get to reunite with some old favorites: Eaven, Talon, Luke, Aiden, Lily and the rest of the gang.
The plot is beyond amazing. Just when Taron pulls his head out of his butt and finally decides to make a go with Ivy, a violent incident leads him to an incorrect conclusion that damages their relationship. T'he incident isn't glossed over and due to alternating POV's, we get to see the amount of damage done to both Ivy and Taron. I loved this story line. There is nothing about this book that I didn't love. I am so ready for the next installment in the Rebel Walking series.
This is the second book in the series. This can be read as a stand alone but I would recommend starting with In a Heartbeat because you will get to see how much character growth Taron and Ivy experience. Heaven Sent is not a cliffhanger and you will absolutely love the ending. 5 out of 5 big old stars from me.
A HUGE thankyou to Hilary for sending me over an ARC copy to review for this blog tour. Make sure to stop by my page on the 26th September @ www.endlessreading.wordpress.com

OMG, And here I thought that Eaven & Talon's story was messed up and seriously HOT....OH NOOO, Hilary pulls it out of the bag yet again!
The lovely, ever so drop dead gorgeous, hot off the mouth singer TARON - PERFECTION. This guy I MUST HAVE, he is HOT and what makes a person hotter, is that he sings, has a tattoo and is dark haired! Pure pantie dropping heaven.
Ivy, is the sister from another mister to the lovely Eaven. She is a feisty, loud mouthed, up-front girl who doesn't back away from a challenge and doesn't take no for an answer.
"The story of the two sisters falling in love with the twin bad boys is one that never comes true."
Yeah so we heard that "In A Heartbeat" Taron, was a pantie collector, just another notch on his bedpost, but when he lays his devilishly gorgeous eyes on the voluptuous Ivy, everything changes.
Nothing will be the same again.
Tradegy happens, it always does.
If your looking for a romantic read, then please look somewhere else, although there are HOT, STEAMY scenes in this book, is it far from romantic, there is stuff that happens that will scar some people, was an emotional read, ranging from crying from laughter, to crying from sadness.
The sexual tension and chemistry that is evident between both Taron & Ivy, has your heart racing and unimaginable thoughts running through your head. Hilary definitely catches our attentions with these characters.
"Eat me, beat me, bite me, blow me.
Suck me, fuck me, very slowly.
If you kiss me, don't be hasty,
use your tongue and make it tasty."
We start to see the softer side to Taron, the caring, sensitive side. The side that Ivy is soooo desperately hoping for.
He loves Ivy
Ivy loves Taron
Can they both overcome their past and look forward to a future together?
I finished this in one sitting and I do hope that Hilary is writing more books for this series, maybe Luke and Holden's books.
After reading In a Heartbeat and falling in love with the banter that Taron and Ivy had, I knew that I would love this book when I found out it was going to be about them. This book had so many different emotions and twists in it, that I was upset when it ended, I still wanted to be on that book high for a bit longer!!
In a Heartbeat portrayed Ivy as being this strong willed sassy woman, who doesn’t take crap from anyone and has a Bitchy attitude at times, but in Heaven Sent, Hilary showed us a softer side that I didn’t think could exist with Ivy. I was completely surprised with some of the things that happened between Ivy and Taron and how they both reacted to them. Taron showed us that he can really love someone and still be an arrogant ass when he needs to be.
Ivy had it rough in her house growing up and Eaven’s family took her in as their own, so it was no surprise that when things start to get bad for Ivy, that Eaven and the others step in to try to protect her. Ivy only wants one person to be with her, to make her feel protected and he has other ideas of how he is feeling about her right now.
Taron knows that Ivy is the woman for him, but he isn't sure if he can trust her when Aiden is always around to rescue her. It is like she is using Taron for sex, but keeping Aiden for the emotional part of life. He hates that he can’t seem to give Ivy the comfort that she needs and he is about to find out how to fix that.
When things get crazy in Ivy’s life and things start to happen, Taron is trying to be the one to rescue her, but she keeps pushing him away and it is driving him nuts. When something horrible happens to Ivy at her apartment one night after he leaves, he tries his hardest to find out what it was and why Aiden was there when she could have called him. He doesn’t want to lose her and will go to the ends of the Earth to make things right.
Heaven Sent is the story of Ivy and Taron, my two favorite characters from the Rebel Walking series. I was instantly enamored with the interaction between these two.
Ivy is the tough girl sister/best friend of Eaven. We first met Ivy in In a Heartbeat, the first book in the series. She is funny, flirty, sexy, and cool. Basically, she's the kind of girl that we all wanted to be when we were in high school and college. Guys beg for her attention, and she shines in the spotlight.
Ivy hasn't had the best of childhoods, and Eaven's family took her in and made her one of their own. Due to her past, she doesn't exactly handle exclusivity and trust very well. She's kind of a f**k em and leave em type of girl....or so she wants you to think.
Taron is Talon's twin brother. The similarities, as far as we know, end there. Taron is a player. He is the lead singer for Rebel Walking and he lives the rockstar life of groupies, partying, and flirting. He is loyal to his family and his band. As the group struggled to come to grips with what happened at the end of In a Heartbeat, we got to see a softer side of Taron when it concerned Ivy. In Heaven Sent, we get to learn what Taron is made of....and so does he.
What happens when a tornado meets a volcano??? Ivy and Taron, that's what happens!!! Can they let go of their personas and learn to be together? Can they each be saved from themselves and their self destructive ways? As we have learned, Ivy and Taron are EXPLOSIVE together.....but, are they Heaven Sent? Will they save each other?
Absolutely loved this book! I thought I knew what to expect going in...fun and feisty. What else would you expect after ready In a Heartbeat? Boy was I wrong. There is fun and feisty, sad and heartbreaking, and hopefulness. Heaven Sent has the perfect combination of everything. Hilary Storm sure knows how to throw you for a loop. There were part where I wanted to cry and my heart hurt, but I didn't know who for. Ivy and Taron have a love/hate relationship that neither can deny any longer. Both have a past that comes back to interfere in their relationship. I loved both of these characters in In a Heartbeat, but I fell even harder in Heaven Sent. Taron is not the insensitive, only cares about himself person I thought he was. His walls are broken down and he does whatever it takes to show Ivy his true feelings and keep her safe. As much as Ivy tries to deny it, she can't fight her feelings for Taron. Even when she tries to push him away she can't let go. After a horrific night for Ivy and the truth comes out, she becomes dependent on Taron and all her friends. We see the protective alpha male make his appearance in full force. Everyone pulls together to help support Ivy, but will she really be ok and be able to move on? We do get to see Talon and Eaven, but they aren't the main focus. I hope to see more of everyone in future books. I cannot wait to see where Hilary takes this story. Love, hope, friendship and trust are all put to the test. Absolute perfection!
Category / Genre: NA, romance Received from: Hilary Storm (in exchange for an honest review)
This is the second book in the Rebel Walking series. While this could stand alone, it is better to read them in order.
Ivy has tried to resist Taron, but some things are inevitable. After giving in to the passion that has been building, life comes crashing down on both of them. Do they turn to one another or walk away?
As much as I loved Eaven and Talon’s story, I was sure I would love another sweet easy read. Ivy and Taron’s story is raw and emotional. I finished this book in about four hours; I just could not put it down! Hilary Storm has ROCKED this. She has another Facebook stalker awaiting her next in the series. Who do you think will next? I’m hoping for Holden.
Recommended for: 18+ due to sexual content Grammar/editing: A – near perfect /book received as an ARC
After reading In a Heartbeat, I was totally in love with Talon. He was sweet, funny, caring, and sexy as hell!! Damn, plus he's a drummer...I was Done!! When I found out Heaven Sent focused around Taron and Ivy, I was a little bumbed... I wanted more Talon. But, I figured, what the hell. I might as well read about Taron and give it a shot.
Let me just state, that I am so in love with this book! I read it in about 2 hours. Holy hell, I absolutely devoured it! This book was much, much better than the first one. It was sexier, funnier, and so much more dramatic and suspenseful. The writing was more in depth and I connected better with the characters. Surprisingly, I liked Taron more in this book. There were times when he had me laughing out loud, especially when shouting out the toasts for more tequila shots!! Hahaha, I just loved them!
I just adored the connection between Ivy and Taron. The sex crazed, panty-stealing god finally met his match! Ivy is hilarious, confident, and so freakin feisty..how can Taron resist? The book starts off about 3 months after In a Heartbeat ends and jumps right into Ivy and Taron hitting it off. Let's just say, that Ivy has some hot moves, especially in a moving vehicle. Talk about daring!! They are so perfectly matched for each other. Unfortunately, Ivy is attacked in her apartment by a degenerate creep and is in complete shock. I felt so bad for her. She lost all of her confidence and spunk. I cried a few tears for her. No one should have to go through that.
After the attack, Taron steps us and takes car of her. He slowly begins to help bring back her confidence, independence, and sex-appeal. This book displayed a different side to Taron. The sex-crazed god was no longer there and in his place, was a devoted man, taking care of the woman he loves. He does anything and everything to keep her safe. Ivy needs Taron but she doesn't want to be a distraction, especially if it messes with his band, Rebel Walking. She could never forgive herself if he quit the band for her. What could she do? Can she trust him? She knew about all of his past discretions. Will he change his ways and be with her, and only her?
The story goes into depths of inner turmoil and struggles. Ivy must overcome her attack and jump back into her old lifestyle while Taron is right there, ready to catch her, but will she let him???
Hilary Storm did a fantastic job with this book. I am so proud of her and I cannot wait to read the next one. Hopefully, we get to read about Luke and Holden. :)
Taron Walker is the "panty stealer" of the group Rebel Walking, and would have sex with just about anyone, but once he saw feisty, Ivy Adams (Eaven's best friend from In a Heartbeat) he was totally hooked. Ivy, on the other hand, does not like players. Taron is hot, no doubt, but Ivy wants to be someone's "one and only", not a beauty in the bevy of women Taron has claimed. Taron is about to go on tour with Rebel Walking, and it is hard for her to trust him.
Then something inconceivable happens. It leaves Ivy showing so many transformations, from being the spirited young woman who will tell you like it is, to being a broken shell of a woman after something devastating happens to her.
Ivy gets left to face her demons and she thinks Taron walks away from her. She is very confused and she doesn't know if she should ask help from Taron or just let him go on tour without saying anything. She doesn't want to hold him back from fulfilling his dreams.
She put her love and needs on hold to protect the love of her life and his career as a star. But if Taron knew this; he'd have fought harder to keep her with him.
It's fun to watch them together, joking, and being sweet to each other. It's painful to see them fight, giving up and letting each other go. I love a good story with angst and it had enough to keep me wandering what was going to happen at every turn.
I liked the secondary characters, especially Aiden~ who became Ivy's knight-in-shining armor when she needed a friend the most. I was torn between Aiden and Taron for Ivy, both are great guys. I couldn't help but think that Taron is the perfect guy for her and I wanted Aiden to find someone perfect for him as well.
I loved the ending of this book, just when you think all hope is lost, there is a great moment that soon becomes over shadowed by more angst. Thank goodness the pieces are put together by the last page and it isn't a cliffhanger.
This book is part of a series, but can be read separately- if you want to read the first story- it is about Taron's twin Talon, and Ivy's best friend Eaven- In a Heartbeat.
First of all...I'm effing loving this series and the cover of this book is HOT...just like Taron.
Taron and Ivy...I love them both individually and even more so together. They are both so much alike, but bring out something in each other that is so foreign to them...feelings, hurt, and love. They both have always had meaningless one night stands or hookups where no feelings were involved until they developed a friendship while going through Eaven's hospitalization and recovery. Ivy turns down Taron's propositions constantly because she knows she falling for him and believes her feelings are much deeper than his. She knows it would be more than just sex to her and that she can't share him, by him continuing to sleep around with groupies. Little does she know he feels the same about her and hasn't slept with anyone else in months. He wants more with her and when they finally sleep together the night before he goes on tour, something awful happens in between the time of him leaving to get his bags from home and coming back to go back to sleep with her and wake up with her in his arms before he leaves. He totally misunderstands what happened and leaves to go on tour heartbroken. Eaven and Talon fill him in on what really happened and he's distraught and catches the first flight back to Ivy. She and Eaven go on tour with Taron and Talon to keep Ivy safe. During that time, Ivy and Taron grow even closer and feelings grow deeper and then she runs because she doesn't want him to give up his dreams because of her drama. Without giving away any spoilers, I will just say more events and drama unfold, but they do get their HEA. The last two paragraphs in the epilogue made the book to me...actually probably the last line in the epilogue. I loved it! It's perfect! Now, I am anxiously awaiting Luke's story...awesome job Hilary Storm!
Wow. Just wow. I loved Eaven and Talons story so much in 'In a Hearbeat' (Rebel Walking #1) I was worried Ivy and Tarons story wouldn't be able to live up to it. I was wrong!
Ivy and Tarons story had me entranced from the beginning. I loved their relationship and the banter between the two. They are so hot together! There are some seriously hot moments between the two that had me fanning myself.
Taron,oh Taron. I loved that we got to see his softer side rather than just his cocky, mon-whore persona we were introduced to in 'In a Heartbeat'. This new dimension to his personality made him even more swoon worthy than he already was. I fell in love with Ivy and her feisty personality in Rebel Walking #1. I love her 'grab life by the dick and swing from the rafters' attitude. Probably because I wish I had a little Ivy in me sometimes. I laughed a lot through this story and learned some hilarious shot toasts that had me laughing out loud along the way.
There are so many great characters in this story. Let me tell you that all the men are smokin' hot!! (Except for one vial character-I cannot but him in a hotness category because he had my blood boiling and not in a good way.) Aiden, the always loyal cowboy, is such a great character. I hope we get to hear more of his story in the future. You can tell a book is well written when you are desperate for more from secondary characters.
This book was a one-sitting read for me, I could not put it down!! It has definately made it to my must-read list and will be reread in the future. This book is a 5 star book, make sure you get your hands on it! I cannot wait to see what is next from Hilary Storm! Keep them coming.
Heaven Sentpicks up right where In a Heartbeatleaves us, only now we get Ivy and Taron's story and perspectives. Ivy wants Taron something fierce, but she isn't about to share and she knows that Taron is not a one-woman man. Taron makes it clear to Ivy that he wants her too, and as the sexual tension between them rises, he considers giving up the extra women for a chance to be with Ivy.
As Taron and Ivy give in to the intense physical chemistry between them, they find they are incredibly compatible with one another. Ivy doesn't want to do anything that will keep Taron from fulfilling his potential as a rock star, and Taron starts struggling to imagine a life without Ivy in it.
I liked this book even more than the first in the series. Ivy and Taron are both head-strong and feisty characters. I enjoyed them so much, and was glad to see that they didn't have to change to be together. They appreciate the qualities that they were originally attracted to in the other, and after they get together neither expects the other to change. I read a lot of books about the wild guy who is suddenly tame when he falls in love. Neither Taron or Ivy are tame, and falling in love doesn't change that. They are who they are, and their chemistry is fantastic.
There is some pretty heavy subject matter in this one, and I think it is handled well. I look forward to reading the next in this series.
Rebel Walking is back and this time it’s all about Taron & Ivy. These two are a perfect match for the other. I loved the vibes between them in In A Heartbeat and Hilary turned up the heat in Heaven Sent!!
Taron’s bad boy ways have come to a halt because all he wants is Ivy. With one night left before Rebel Walking goes on tour he’s more determined then ever to have her.
Ivy has fought her attraction to Taron for long enough. She knows he’s leaving, she refuses to share him, yet she can’t push him away this time. OH MY HELL it was HOT! Panty melting indeed.
After such a great night together Ivy wakes up to find Taron gone, but she’s not alone. I did not see what happens next coming and I felt so much for her in this moment.
When Taron learns the truth about what happened that night he does all in his power to take care of Ivy. A whole new side of Taron is shown and I absolutely fell in love with him.
Things aren’t always what they seem and insecurities and doubt has Ivy running. Will Taron let her go or will he fight for her? What will he do when he faces the person that hurt Ivy and he learns some news that could change his whole life?
I fell in love with Taron and Ivy and loved their story. It was absolutely perfect for these two and showed sides of them we haven’t seen before. Hilary did a great job with the obstacles she threw in their way.
Synopsis: The Rebel Walking Series continues with Taron and Ivy's story, Heaven Sent.
Review: I was given a copy of Heaven Sent by Ashley’s Reading bliss for an honest review. I thought this was a great continuation of In a Heartbeat. I found this book to be even better than the first. I was glad I was able to go from reading In a Heartbeat to reading Heaven Sent which I read this afternoon. I thought this book was funny, sexy, had more drama and more suspense. I loved the connection between Ivy and Taron. I think that they had a great relationship. Something happens to Ivy and that made me pretty sad. It brings her down and she is broken. Taron takes care of her and he helps her to get her life back. I don’t want to ruin the book for those who haven’t read it yet. I recommend reading this book after you read the first. I give it 5 out of 5 stars!
Hilary has just upped her game! Heaven sent is a really enjoyable quick read.
This book is the second in the Rebel Walking Series, and shows a real progression in Hilary's writing, in this book she shows real depth of emotion in her main characters which I loved.
Ivy Adams is a feisty, strong funny woman who knows what she wants in life, the one thing she doesn't want is to rely on any man, she is not going to turn out like her mom !
Talon Walker is the lead singer for the up and coming group Rebel Walling, he is confident, cocky and sexy as hell with a panty dropping smile! He too knows what he wants out of life, that is to sing in his band and a different girl every night!
After a tragic night brings them together they starts to believe that their futures may lie in each other, but true love never runs smoothly and neither does their story.
I really enjoyed this book it was a quick read which at times was really funny, loved the toasts they made before they drank the shots, here's my favourite one "Here's to Birthdays! Birthdays come once a year. Aren't you glad you're not a Birthday!"
With each book Hilary's writing style gets better, I cant wait for the next one its going to be epic!
Wow, it just doesn't stop. From the very first pages it will grip you, hold you and never let you go. All through. None stop.
Taron the bad boy rock star finds his match with smart ass Ivy. She is the girl version of him and when they get together they are explosive. Who would of thought after reading the first book, In a Heartbeat, these two would think of anyone else besides themselves, and lean on each other, need each other. But when tragady occurs, it makes them both realize their love for each other. His band is just starting out and she doesn't want to hold him back. He knows he can't let his band down, but he can't get her out of his head.
I don't want to give any of it really away, but this is a book you will enjoy! I finished In a Heartbeat yesterday, and I was happy to read how these brothers interact with each other in this book also. I got it as a gift from Hilary, and I am so thankful. I finished it in a couple of hours, couldn't put it down. My husband was lucky he got dinner this evening. Quick meal, lol.
I'm looking forward to reading Hilary's next book. There is more characters for us to read about!
Wow just wow this book made me feel like what ivy was going through I was going through it with her it just felt so real I cried when ivy cried and I thank Hilary storm for being an awesome writer. I fell in love with taron he fought to show ivy that she is his everything and that he is truly in love with her even though he has a bad boy past but love conquers all. I highly recommend this series to all my friends.i know in the first book I fell in love with eaven and talon but with this book I really fell in love with taron and ivy. I'm going to say it again thank you Hilary storm for writing this series and I can't wait to see what is next for rebel walking series.
So unbelievably good! It was a total page turner, and I finished in just hours. Ivy and Taron's story was just as hot and explosive as Eaven and Talon's and at some parts it brought me to tears. Great book, great author. Loved it completely.
Its rare to have a second book be even better than the first but Heaven Sent was better, loved both brothers but I think I loved Taron a bit more than Talon and that never happens for me. Can't wait for book 3 Luke Jacobs teaser at end of book was really good.
This novel is a perfect display of personal struggles from a past that can not be changed, a past Ivy had no control over. And how when someone you love is truly the love of your life, breaking your own heart so they might live is only a small sacrifice.
If you think the first book of the Rebel Walking Series is HOT – wait till you read this one!
What happens when the bad boy wants the bad girl?!
OMG.
A little bit of this…
A little bit of that...
Some of this...
A lot of that...
Taron Walker might have been the manwh*re in the group and would shag just about anyone, but once he had set his sights on the beautiful and feisty, Ivy Adams (Eaven’s best friend) – he was totally hooked. Ivy, on the other hand, was not fond of players. Taron might be a sex on stick, and yes, she might be attracted to him but she was not the one to share. Taron is about to go on tour with the Rebel Walking, can she trust him to stay faithful to her?
Then the unimaginable happens – Ivy was left to face her demons as Taron walks away from her. Confused, if she should ask help from Taron or just let him go? He’s about to fulfill his dreams and sing in front of a huge crowd, and she might just as well held him back.
I have been waiting for Taron’s story, and I wasn’t disappointed. Heaven Sent had exceeded my expectations of both characters, as well as the plot. Ivy has always been a strong character, faced with adversity, she’s even stronger. Taron might have caught a lot of panties on stage, but once he had given his heart to someone, he can be loyal too. It’s fun to watch them together, bantering, throwing sexual innuendoes, being sweet to each other. But it’s always heartbreaking to see them fight, giving up, and just letting go.
I loved the secondary characters, most especially Aiden, who became Ivy’s knight-in-shining armor when she needed a friend the most. I always thought they would end up together, but now I think Taron is the perfect guy for her, and I’m sure Aiden would have someone perfect for him as well. Eaven, and Talon are planning their wedding, and the rest of the Rebel Walking are still here.
The twist and turns caught me by surprise, breaking my heart in the process. But then, the ending (and the make-up sex) makes it all worth it. Taron and Ivy have chemistry that will blow your minds out of proportions. HOT. SEXY. SWEET. INTENSE. EMOTIONAL. Completely UNEXPECTED.

I fell in love with Taron when I read In a Heartbeat – Eaven and Talon’s story. He was a huge manwhore, but you couldn’t help but love the chemistry between he and Ivy. I’m so glad they got their own story!
Do you want to lose that finger? I really want him to continue, but I would never tell him that.
“I would love for you to take my entire finger.”
Taron in the first book was the huge, screw anything that moves kinda guy. And, boy the dirty talking he did! It was his mission to make Eaven blush. We saw a completely different side to him in Heaven Sent that made me all kinds of happy! He was sweet, and caring, and a little bit vulnerable.
The best? Are you f*cking kidding me right now? Don’t you know that’s you? You’re the only thing I think about. You consume my every thought. I’m always thinking about your pain, your safety, your skin, your body, your lips, your eyes, your feisty f*cking mouth…this list could go on forever. Don’t you know what I wish for involves you? If you aren’t involved, then I don’t want it.”
You could tell right from the beginning that Taron really cares about Ivy, but he obviously has some serious trust issues when it comes to relationships. I wish Hilary had delved a little more into the reasons for that, but overall, I loved this book. Ivy was her kick-ass self, even with all the serious problems she had to go through in this one. I thought what Eaven went through in In a Heartbeat was rough, but Ivy puts all that to shame in Heaven Sent! Ivy is the girl I want to be – confident, sarcastic, doesn’t take shit from anyone. Those are my favorite kind of female characters! And she definitely doesn’t give Taron a break – at all!
Eat me, beat me, bite me, blow me. Suck me, f*ck me, very slowly. If you kiss me, don’t be hasty, use your tongue and make it tasty.”
If you are looking for a sweet love story, Heaven Sent isn’t it. This is an emotional, devastating at times read that will have you laughing one minute, and wanting to cry the next. This was the perfect next book in the Rebel Walking series, and I really hope we get Luke or Holden’s story next!
Spoiler alert beware!!!! Oh my word Taron and Ivy could not be more perfect for one another. They are both very attractively HOT, smart mouthed, feisty, and they have reputations for getting around ALOT. Well in the first book, which I loved too, these two become closer and do a check of a lot of flirting. They finally realize that they have deeper feelings than just sexy flirting going on between them. They give in and have some of the hottest sex I've ever read about. Loved it! This all takes place the night before Tarons band is to leave on tour. After their hot sex while Ivy is asleep Taron goes home to get his bags so he can come back to stay the night holding Ivy in his arms. But while he's gone a sick ass Dylan who has been watching Ivy breaks in and tries to rape her. Her friend Aiden comes in and saves her while Dylan runs away. Taron returns to see a naked Ivy being held by Aiden. But he doesn't know what just happened. When he does find out he's mortified and leaves the tour to rush to her side. He takes her on tour with him to protect her after they find out the sick Dylan had cut a she in her closet and was sneaking in watching her and taking naked pictures of her. Once on the road on tour Dylan still finds her. It has Taron so distracted Ivy feels she's putting his career in jeopardy. So she lies and tells him she loves Aiden and leaves him to save his career. They are miserable apart. Ivy learns she's pregnant with his baby. Taron finally goes after her to get her back. She and Eaven run from him without security and Dylan gets them at gun point. He is going to rape and kill both of them but Taron gets there in Tim's and almost beats him to death. It takes Taron yelling at him that she's pregnant with his baby to get him to stop beating Dylan. Taron is taken to jail but released a few days later since Dylan lived. They are now together thank goodness. These two are so perfect for each other. I loved this book. Cannot wait for the next book about Luke. This is a great series of books. Must reads!
I had read the first book in the series, In A Heartbeat when it first came out. While that book was good, I was still left wanting but that wasn’t the case with this one. In this book we get to spend time with Taron and Ivy and one thing right off the bat that I will say I enjoyed about this book was that they did NOT have a fairy tale relationship.
I’m one of those glutton for punishment people when it comes to reading, I like to see the characters actually work for what they want and it’s not just handed to them on a silver platter. And that’s the case with this book. Something happens to Ivy and Taron has to help her get through everything. With that going on, I really enjoyed watching the relationship between the two of them grow because I think it just added more to the story.
The story line itself, there was enough drama and suspense that it kept you turning the pages because you wanted to find out what was going on and what was going to happen next. Which to me was really great. The suspense that was taking place in the story was done extremely well in my opinion. There was the right balance between the different aspects of the story.
Even though Taron is a rock star, I’m not really sure that I would say this is a rock star book because the book focuses more on the relationship between the two characters than on Taron’s rock star abilities.
Overall though, I do have to say, if you enjoyed reading the first book, I would completely encourage you to read this book.
So I was given this second book in the Rebel Walking series for my honest review.. If you all read the first book than you will know exactly how I knew this book would be even hotter than the first.
This one was about the Bad "bad" twin Taron and the naughty best friend / sister Ivy. These two can go neck and neck in an all out verbal battle. Whatever naughtiness Taron dishes out Ivy throws right back at him..
“Poison Ivy! It is such a pleasure to see you out for the kill tonight.” He takes his index finger and runs it down my chest and into the valley of my cleavage causing my shirt to lower. He stops just before he exposes me. “Do you want to lose that finger?” I really want him to continue, but I would never tell him that. “I would love for you to take my entire finger.”
Taron is so not the type to settle for one "chick". He's been with more groupies than he can count and loves it. There's just something about Ivy that's different. She doesn't put up with his crap and he wants to find out more about her.
Ivy is very very confident in her skin. She exudes sex appeal and loves the attention she gets from it. She messed with one too many crazy guys and ends up in a situation no girl wants to be in.
This book was chock full of excitement. I was totally on edge waiting to see what would happen next. It's not just another bad boy turns good yadda yadda.. But I totally did want to just scream "yes" at the end. It left me so freakin satisfied and I'm hoping this isn't the end of the twins.
Hilary Storm throws us right in to Ivy & Taron’s story with some steamy action a few pages in, and that sets the scene for what is to come!
“The story of the two sisters falling in love with twin bad boys is one that never comes true” Ivy
Ivy, gorgeous, hot, feisty and mouthy, loved her in this book.
Taron, the purveyor of panties from Book 1, can he change, has he already changed now he’s met Ivy?
“Poison Ivy! It is such a pleasure to see you out for the kill tonight.” He takes his index finger and runs it down my chest and in to the valley of my cleavage causing my shirt to lower. He stops just before he exposes me.
Ivy is trying hard not to play with this bad boy but the reasons not to are getting far outweighed by the reasons she wants to.
“I want to let go and ride the roller coaster that is Taron. I know there will be ups & downs. I just don’t know if I can hang on until the end and exit the ride safely.” Ivy
There is laugh out loud banter between these two.
“May all your ups and downs be between the sheets” I say it proudly and smile when I hear Taron’s breath hitch. – Ivy
“May you always come more than you go” – Ivy
Some parts of this story will not be easy for some to read, but it is what defined who Ivy and Taron became, what drove them apart, what brings them together and ultimately decides how their story will end.
Hilary has given yet another steamy read with a real story holding it together perfectly.
