DNF....The only book I did finish was The Dom Who Loved Me...which I absolutely loved.

This is 5 full-length books, which was a pleasant surprise for me -- I usually expect boxed sets to be novellas, not that I usually mind.
I purchased this pack originally for the Jayne Rylon book, but before I mention that I wanted to say what a wonderful surprise The Dom Who Loved Me was. It's the first D/s book I have read that really, really captured the essence of a good D/s relationship -- utter trust, the ability to give over control to someone else, but at the same time the sub still retaining complete control in the bedroom without having to bottom from the top. Honestly, to me, the plot was secondary to the relationship and its development between the characters.
The other three books were good reads as well, but the real highlight of this boxed set is Pick Your Pleasure. Remember those choose-your-own-adventure (or Fighting Fantasy) books that were all the rage and you spent so much time going through over and over to get all the endings? Just smile and nod. Anyhow, this is them, only better. WAY better. Seriously sexy and different characters to start with, and I was shocked by just how different the stories got depending on which choices you made. Naturally, I had to go through all of them! The concept was great and the execution fabulous, and while I was originally wary of the format as I was reading it on a Kindle Paperwhite, it worked perfectly and looked great, even if it was a little fiddly with chapter selection from the beginning (through the Kindle Go To menu it worked perfectly).
Can I also mention that it is nigh impossible to find a heroine who is wealthy and powerful? It's always the heroes that are billionaires -- Linley is such a breath of fresh air, I LOVE her.
I've since read Pick Your Pleasure 2, and it was just as well done, but Ryder is always going to have a place in my heart.

This box set was great. I originally got it because it contained the first book in the Masters and Mercenaries by Lexi Blake and I have a few other books by her and enjoy her stories. This first installment didn't disappoint at all.
It is always awesome to be introduced to other authors as well and I liked the rest of the books included, some more than the others.
"Bodywork" - Marie Harte (good storyline and characters, erotic scenes, looking forward to the second book)
"Jingle Ball" - Cari Quinn (double hot erotic read, fantasies at the office...hmmm, look forward to the next one)
"Dust of My Wings" - Carrie Ann Ryan (was good for a paranormal hot romance/suspense)
"Pick Your Pleasure" - Jayne Rylon (it was kind of cool to be able to pick and choose the different paths the female char. could delve into to fulfill her wants)

I has everything romance, hot dirty sex, I clueless Dom trying to woo his girl and a widowed mother if 2 college kids trying to make the best of things even when she lonely and falling for a guy who she thinks is out her league. I like how the mercenaries are all family. Each is very different to the other and u can't help to like them. Great ending. Fantastic HEA.
