Hunter Barnet loves being a cop; it’s all about the chase and the adrenaline rush. On patrol, he finds himself helping a beautiful motorist during a sudden blizzard. Luckily, there’s a motel nearby and Hunter and Helena are stranded in a room until the roads are cleared.
Helena has a secret, well several actually. She may have caused the sudden blizzard that traps her with the hunky policeman. The sex is incredible but she needs to tell him exactly who and what she is and risk rejection. There may be more at stake than just Helena’s heart. Hunter may be part of a something bigger, something none of them bargained for.
Kim Seidel lives in Southeastern Pennsylvania with her two children and three cats. An overly avid reader, Kim got involved in writing thanks to the encouragement of others who saw her potential. During the time not spent working, reading or writing, she loves to bake for her family and friends, and feels the world would be a better place if everyone ate chocolate!
When Hunter Barnet comes upon a stranded motorist in the middle of a blizzard he does what any cop would do and stops to check out the situation. Little does he know that his world will never be the same. Helena is a chaos demon and her powers are out of control. First, she causes a blizzard and now her car is dead. Then a sexy cop comes to her rescue and her powers kill his truck, too. Now they have to find shelter fast. Luckily there is a cabin nearby that they are able to stay in for a couple of days until the storm passes and the roads can be cleared.
Now, whatever will this hunk of a cop and the sexy chaos demon to do pass the time? Inexplicably drawn to each other, they find more than one way to keep warm even with the blizzard roaring outside! Hunter is falling fast for the mysterious beauty, but Helena has her share of secrets and as much as she wants to keep Hunter, she knows he may reject her true nature.
I absolutely loved the chemistry between Helena and Hunter and the sex was sizzling. The author did a great job of building the relationship between the characters, but I was left wondering about the bigger picture. We get small glimpses of a bigger story brewing, but it's not explained in this book at all until the very last few pages. Knowing now that the rest of the story will play out in the next couple of books, I understand why the author wrote it the way she did and I'm very excited to read the next installments! Whiteout is a good start to what I think will be a very exciting series filled with action and steamy goodness.

Read this first book by Kim Seidel and Ben Wilson because Kim is a friend of mine. Its a very easy read and a very sexy read.
First the faults .. 1. First Scene has nothing to do with the book. 2. Very Sexy but the characters have no other purpose in the story than to introduce a world of Demons in the Human environment. 3. The book was short .. a novella rather than a novel. 4. The book was not my usual kind of fare so I saw it as twisted kind of pornography.
Okay now what I liked. 1. Once I accepted the fact that this book was trying to pique my lust in a fantasy environment, I enjoyed reading it very much. 2. With the exception of the first pages, The story flows from one scene to the next .. really only four scenes so it was easy and short. It is a quick and exciting read. 3. These were not our normal Twilight Vampires or Walking Dead zombies. These demons were super sexed and all of their superpowers made them sexier. I liked the creative imagination shown here. 4. The pornography worked big time lol. 5. I listened to an audio book by Laurell K Hamilton one time. It went on and on and on and made me madder and madder because I felt I was wasting my time. This book had her sexy imagination and style but did not make me want to hurt anyone.
I would recommend this book for an exciting short recreation read for someone who likes porno. Its as well written as Laurel Hamilton but its not 3 inches thick. That's the way good porno should be. :)
Btw .. this is a first book for both these writers. They have the imagination and the talent. I expect their writings to get better and better.
