When soldiers were wounded and pushed aside by the military, a mysterious Command gave them a second chance.
College students, Mack and Bernice, weren't asked if they wanted a first chance. They were drafted. Some things never change.
Laws are scoffed across oceans and continents by this collection of badass people shielding America from its enemies with no holds barred. One man’s criminal is another man’s patriot.
But there have always been some who are just criminals.
Warning to the mild-mannered; F-words and some steamy scenes.
This was a book hard to put down. In fact, I actually spent time reading this when I should have been working but it was hard to put down. This has a different take from many books and is well written with a high action content. For a newer author this was not a book filled with grammatical errors , something which I also found refreshing. Be aware this is not for the "PC Correct" but a good solid Red, White, and Blue nove!. Enjoy
I really like the way this new group is financed. The technology used is keeping with the twenty first century. I like the increased leadership of women and wounded. Only real gripe was, Mack was a little bit super soldier while high school and no obvious military training. I can't wait for the next book.
I enjoyed the various people and their backgrounds. Most action stories just deal with the action and not a lot of focus on the characters backgrounds, this story is different. The whole story was good and well thought out without the missing gaps that can make there way into a story.
This author is unique in that he implys an act be Tween adults but does not waste words on it. Well written and a (not new) refreshing plot. Story starts of fast and charter back ground is filled in as necessary. I am. Starting book two tonight. 5 Stars and a big recommend
The story seemed real and believable. Recommended for anyone that likes a good story. It kept my interest thru the story and disappointed me when it was over. I don't like to do these because it seems like a high school assignment and if you don't blow enough smoke up their a$$, your submission gets "removed for public decency".
Interesting premise. It's a nice divergent take on the classic geopolitical military/spy thriller. Word of advice, If you're gonna talk small arms then learn the subject so you at least sound like you know what you're talking about.
Let me start by saying I liked this book.I'm It kept me entertained. It was not a book I found easy to read however. I don't know it it was too many characters, too many active plot lines, I just could not settle in to the story. I felt like my mind ckul
A bit over the top with too much happening successfully for the protagonists, but still a fun read. It would be nice if such an agency existed to do the things like this.
