Best friends once, lovers never, yet an attraction that can’t be ignored.

Five years ago, Julia Bell walked away from her life the moment her high school diploma was in her hand. She left her family and friends behind to start over and escape the chokehold of small town life in Benton Hill. But an urgent call from her little sister brings Julia back to her hometown wholly unprepared for what awaits her.

Ben Miller was always the nice guy. Just before high school graduation, he stepped out of that role hoping to capture the heart of the woman he loved. Instead, in quick succession he lost the girl, and the future he worked so hard to achieve.

Even though Julia and Ben are drawn to each other, echoes of the past block them at every turn. Secrets are exposed, and reality needs to be dealt with if they can ever hope to move past the bittersweet junction that ripped them apart.

**I received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.**

To me, this description of this book isn't exactly what I thought I read.

Julia Bell left home 5 years ago and hasn't looked back since. But after receiving a call from her sister, Clary, that their dad was in the hospital, Julia rushed home to find out that not only is her father fine, but her little sister is getting married to her ex-boyfriend, Mike, and they have a baby on the way.

Ben Miller was best friends with Julia and Mike since they were 5 years old, and has loved Julia for that long too. He was the one that Julia always went to talk to. They never dated or even kissed until a few nights before high school graduation.

When Julia returns, yeah he is there for her (she is taking a lot of new information/changes) but it's not like he lets her walk all over him and then just dismiss him. The relationship changes between Julia and Ben that very first night she is back in town.

This book wasn't what I'd consider a "second-chance romance". There was no romance (besides a make-out session) between Julia and Ben. I mean, it was a good book, just not really what I was expecting to read.

I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for a fair an honest review...
That being said this was a cute book with a happy ending but was also heavy on the drama and if you are from a small town you will probably be able to relate to the heroin in this story! I did find it a little odd that she would just up and leave her family and friends straight out of high school without contacting them for five years. It just makes her seem a little flighty and makes you wonder if her and Ben actually had strong feelings for each other how was it so easy to separate for 5 years without a word between them? This is a little more realistic than most stories that are about romance where everything is so perfect that it couldn't happen in real life!
The book was a little lacking on the sex appeal for me as well and was not one of those books you just couldn't put down. But it was a good story so for that reason I will give this book 3 stars!!!

Going home after disappearing 5 years later is hard. Finding out that your kid sister is marrying your old high school boyfriend is even harder. But the hardest? Learning that your feelings for your best friend never went away with the passage of time.

This was a sweet story about coming home again and getting a second chance at love. Julia and Ben were so great together, you rooted for them even before you knew there was a "them" to cheer for. The other characters also made the story colorful, as you'd expect from a story set in a small town.

Review originally posted at Ramblings From This Chick

I have a huge weakness for friends to lovers stories, especially when it comes to those taking place in a small town. But sometimes those stories tend to follow the same basic story line. Bittersweet Junction however was different and original and I absolutely loved it! This story was sweet and was all about the choices that we make in life and how they can change everything about our future. For me, this story was very realistic and I couldn't help but be drawn in. Jules and Ben were so interesting and I didn't want their story to end because I felt like I got so attached to them!

Under the guise that her father has had a heart attack, Jules heads to her hometown after getting a frantic call from her sister. She has been gone since graduation and a night that changed her life forever. When she gets to town, she finds out that her father is fine and that her sister used it as an excuse to get Jules back into town. Jules is confronted with her best friend Ben, her ex-boyfriend Mike, her sister Clary, and a whole small town full of people who are quick to stick their noses into her business and try to figure out what caused her to leave in the first place. After the real reason her sister called her back comes to light, Jules wants out of town as fast as possible. Ben comes to her rescue like he always used to, and as the two spend more time together they begin to explore a connection that has always been between the two of them. Unfortunately I cannot go into much detail on the story line without giving too much away, but trust me there is enough drama and romance to keep you interested the entire time!

Ben and Julia were absolutely perfect for each other! I really thought that they were the perfect compliment to the other, and their connection was so much more than just the amazing chemistry between them. There was so much depth to their relationship and the emotions were easy to see from the very start. Ben was so patient and willing to wait for Julia, and I loved that he never tried to use knowledge that he had in order to manipulate Julia. He wanted her to be with him for the right reasons, and that spoke a ton about his character. Julia was strong willed and independent. I loved how determined she was and that she went after what she wanted. It was wonderful to see that their relationship grew over time, and it was so sweet how they had that connection from such an early age. I think what really made me relate to this story is that it wasn't so neat and tidy and perfect. It was real and the decisions that the characters made were flawed like real life is. Being young and overwhelmed it is easy to make the wrong decision even if it seems right at the time. This story was about those decisions and the fact that we can overcome them.

Overall, this story was emotional and sweet. The drama and romance kept me from wanting to put this book down. I really enjoyed reading Ben and Julia's story and I wasn't ready to leave them at the end. They definitely left me with a book hangover. This having been the first book I've read by Ivy Sinclair, I can tell you that it wont be the last! This story is an absolute must read for fans of all genres of romance. Ben and Jules are impossible not to fall in love with, and you will not be disappointed.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.....

A heart wrenching story of 3 friends from a small town. I think I felt every emotion there is to feel while reading this story. The plot was very interesting and flowed smoothly throughout the book. The characters were well-developed and I could easily relate to them. Ben was the better guy for Jules anyway. This is a great read and one that I will be adding to my personal Kindle Library. I can't wait for Mike and Clary's story.

The Review:

**I won this book in a contest, but this won't sway my review whatsoever.**

Bittersweet Junction is the first work I've read of Ivy Sinclair. Honestly, I'm the type who has a tendency to judge a book by it's cover and this cover made me think this would be a tame, not so great book. Nothing against the cover or designer. It's beautiful! It just didn't have the sex appeal I usually prefer. What a disguise!! This book held more passion and realism in it, then any book I've read in a very long time. I started reading it this morning at 5:45 am and I read it as I put on my shoes, dressed, etc. to get ready for an appt. I read it up to 89% before I was forced to put it down to drive. I finished it the second I got back home by 9:30am. It was EXTREMELY hard to put down.

This book had me feel so many emotions and it was just downright believable. Right down to the smiley on the silo in Iowa. I live in Iowa and I haven't seen a silo with a smile, but I HAVE seen a smiley water tower. So this took me back to that cute memory.

Julia ran from her problems, like many of us do and it takes her 5 yrs and a lie to get her to come home and face her biggest regret. When she arrives she receives an unexpected shock that throws her for one hell of a loop. We hop on the emotional roller coaster with her, as she gets angry, sad, shocked, disappointed and as she learns more about herself and the life she left behind. I just truly fell in love with this book. I can't express just how much.

It has moments that a lot of us wish we'd had in school and others we did have and regretted. It's a book of hope and the epitome that it is never too late to go back home and it's never too late to fix past mistakes. It's also never too late to reinvent ourselves.

I'm torn between wanting to blab all about this story because I love it so much and wanting to keep it to myself, so that you can experience everything with Julia as it happens to her. So I will resist my temptation to blab, because what makes this book so special is the closeness you have with the characters. It has an ex love, a best friend, the unexplored love and the hateful bitch who made your high school years hell.

Ivy Sinclair has listed this as a standalone book, but I REALLY hope she writes a book about a couple other character's lives, because I'm left wondering how it will end up. It's not one of those drop it off cliff hangers, it COULD be a stand alone book...but I want more!! I've grown quite attached and I don't want it to end.

The sex scenes where soooo hot, yet not vulgar. They were passionate, yet slow and easy. Ivy Sinclair truly has a wonderful gift and I look forward to reading many, many, more books of hers in the future. I honestly feel so blessed and like the luckiest person in the world to have won such an amazing book! Thank you Ivy Sinclair for the honor. ♥

Jules left her hometown 5 years ago after graduation, and hasn't been back since. She returns after an urgent call from her sister, and when she comes back, everything has changed. She finds her little sister pregnant and engaged to Jules' high school sweetheart - the man that proposed to Jules a couple of days before she left. As well as having to confront this truth, she also has to work out how she feels about her best friend who confessed his love for her before she ran away.
Thanks to net galley and the publishers for a copy of this novel in return for an honest review

I didn't like Jules. I thought she was rude to her sister when she first returned - and then she sort of did an about-turn and was very protective about people saying almost exactly what she had said in the beginning. And then there's Sarah - Jule's rival from high school, who apparently five years on hasn't matured a bit. I hate the cliche that Sarah is - rich, popular, beautiful and apparently a 'bitch'. What she does to Clary isn't just a prank or payback to Jules - it's downright cruel and this is why I just can't believe her character. No one acts like that. She's Jules' love rival with Ben and so she has to be shown to be the absolute worst a human can be, apparently. I hate this trope. I hate it so much.

Though this was a fast read and had some fun moments, I mostly found that the characters were undeveloped and I didn't enjoy the use of tropes. I felt that the declarations of love, as always, came way too soon and so the emotions were a little bit unbelievable. I also thought that Mike seemed like an incredibly reprehensible character and I'm not sure why anyone was friends with him.

Overall, this was an okay book. Like, I didn't mind wasting a few hours with it but it wasn't anything to write home about.

Bittersweet Junction tells a simple story of redemption. Having left her small town five years ago, Julia Bell is tricked into coming back for her sister's wedding. When she left she cut ties with everyone including her high school boyfriend, Mike, and their best friend, Ben Miller. Ben has been in love with Julia since they met in kindergarten and has never stopped loving her, even after she skipped town.

The story will definitely pull at the heartstrings. Julia and Ben are such amazing characters. From the writing it was easy to feel everything they thought and felt. I could definitely relate to Julia very easily. She knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to go for it. Ben was the same for me. Unrequited love is something I think a lot of people can relate to.

I really enjoyed the realism to the story. Like I said before, all the characters have something that you can see in yourself or those around you. The drama was spot on and nothing was over the top. The sex scenes were beautifully written. And to be honest, after reading so many books with drawn out details for everything it was nice to have to use my imagination. It made it more real and sensual for me. And nothing about them was vulgar. There were no slang terms which I really appreciated. I just get tired of seeing the same few words to describe sex organs that it becomes almost second nature to skip over scenes. Not true with this novel though.

This was my introduction to Ivy Sinclair and I wasn't disappointed in the least. I will definitely have to check out her other books.

Julie left her hometown right after she finished High School without a word to anyone. She would remain gone and never have returned home until she gets a scary call about her father. Julie rushes home to find out what is really going on and finds that her sister is pregnant and getting married that weekend. Julie's life will make a turn for the worst, but her best friend from all them years ago Ben will be there or her, Ben has been in love with Julie since forever, now that she is back in town he is wondering if this will be a second chance or if he will loose her all over again after the weekend is over.

What I enjoyed most about Bittersweet Junction is watching a woman go from not knowing why she left home all them years ago to finding where she truly belongs. watching Ben never loosing that hope of being with his other half but not knowing it. Seeing Julie reconnect with her father and sister as well as her good friends she left behind, especially seeing Ben and Julie have that love unfold for each other after all these years. Of course they all have their own roller coaster rides along they way of the not knowing and finding the truth out.

This is a great Ivy Sinclair book, it was a fast entertaining read that I couldnt put down as I had to know what was going to happen between Ben and Julie and that of Mike and Clary. This story has a woman who pretty much runs away from town within 24 hours of graduating High School and to never return back home for 5 ears, upon returning home her life is turned upside down and she cannot wait to leave again, with Ben by her side it becomes like old times and she wonders why she ran away from him, A love story. If you like stories like this, then Bittersweet Junction is a must!

I really enjoyed this book, packed full of drama to keep you hooked. I really can't say much about the storyline without spoiling this great novel for you all. however this book l just wouldn't work with out each and everyone of these characters so I'll tell you guys my opinion..

I really connected with the main character Julia 'Jules' Bell, I felt and understood every emotion she did and I felt I was being betrayed with her along with all of her highs and lows during the book. I also fell in love with Ben, he's such a great person! He puts his own laugh on hold for his family, stood by and watched whilst in love with his best friends girlfriend and was just an all around good guy.

Next I turn to the hateful characters which WARNING there are a few...
when I was first introduced to Julia's sister Clary I could help but judge her and feel I could forgive her if I were in Julia's place however after the duration of the book I guess I could understand how things turned out. then there's Mike, best to describe him is a dumb selfish jock. he irritated and annoyed me so much! and as I got further along I felt he deserved nothing more than to be alone with all his regrets and even when he did see the light and saw what an Idiot he's been I still couldn't forgive him.

I definitely recommend this, it's full with enough drama to keep to gripped. I was a little disappointed with the epilogue that it was only five months later but we still got a happy ever after and that's enough to keep me satisfied.

ARC graciously provided by Netgalley in exchange for a honest review.

Five years ago Julia walked away from home and her family. Leaving behind a boyfriend and best friend in her wake. After being tricked by her little sister into coming home for the first time in five years she' relieved to find that her father is not in the hospital. But that relief is short lived when she finds out that her sister in knocked up to her high school boyfriend and what makes the cherry on the cake is that her sister tricked her in to coming home to be the maid of honor in the wedding! The wedding that is to take place in two days. That leaves Julia two days to talk her sister out of marrying Mike. It also leaves her two days into writing the wrongs that she did to her best friend Ben. Even if it means losing him all over again.

This book was amazing. I can't give it enough praise without giving away what happens in the book. I love Julia. She was such a strong female character. Ben also blew me away. He truly was the good guy and this book goes to show you that the good guy doesn't always finish last. It just might take a little while for the girl to realize what she has.

This book was witty and fun with a caste of characters that will suprise you and make you feel at home. The storyline is superb and the writing is excellent. After finishing this book I felt satisfied but also empty. I didn't want to let these guys go. I definitely look forward to what is up next for this wild cast of characters. Please let there be more books soon.

Bittersweet Junction- is about a girl named Julia who left her small town to make a better life for herself. Leaving her boyfriend Mike, her best friend Ben, her sister clary and her father behind after high school graduation.

Five years later Julia receives a call to attend her Sister clary's wedding. Her sister is marrying none other than...her ex-boyfriend Mike!

Julia is full of regrets after leaving her friend, family, and ex boyfriend without much of a word and breaking the hearts of the ones she loved most. As expected nothing comes easy when she returns home and she finds herself unexpectedly reconsidering feelings she may have had all along for Ben!

This was such a sweet story about a girl returning to her small town life, reuniting with her family and the man she left behind. The one she really loved all along! This story has a great amount of love and drama. It was a sweet read and i enjoyed it very much!

Thank you so much Ivy Sinclair for allowing me to read a copy!

Bittersweet Junction is a wonderfully written story about the making of hasty decisions and the repercussions of the choices we make. Whether the decisions you make are good or bad we all have to make them. In this story Julia makes a decision to leave her small town life for the life in a big city right after graduation. She leaves in the midst of finding out what could ultimately be life changing information from her lifelong best friend. Confused and unsure of herself and her feelings she runs off to the big city to begin life anew. After a 5 year absence she is called home by her sister under false pretenses. Upon arriving she finds out that a lot has changed, and old guilt and regrets surface causing her to deal with situations she wasn't prepared to deal with.
This is a story that reminds us that we make decisions for a reason and whether right or wrong the choices we make mold us into the person we are today. This story is also a lesson in the harmful effects of gossip in a small town, and the importance of getting information straight from the horses mouth, so to speak.
Ms. Sinclair weaves a beautiful story of love around the trials and tribulations of small town life. This story is both heartwarming and bittersweet. I recommend to anyone who is looking for a well written second chance at love story to pick up this book, you won't be sorry.

This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.

Id give it 3.5 stars

So i wont be telling what the story is about. At first i thought that this book was giving me something different. And I would say yeah some part gave me that. I would say that I somehow can relate to Jules' behavior. But when she came back and treated her soster that way it was kind of irratating because Clary was sweet and understanding and Jules was bitching her. But atleast she was put back to where she was thanks to her father. Ben, was different from the usual type of guys in books. He was a shoulder to cry on, a bestfriend who's been in love with you for years, gentleman, in short, he was a man to die for.

So 3 days before the wedding, Jules and Ben have been doing things that certainly they dont know what to call. There were misunderstandings, jealousy and craziness. As this was going I thought that in those three days, a lot was happening. It was just so fast. And sometimes I felt like the story really is about Clary, Mike, and Julia. Ben and Julia moments were a blur to me. The last chapters when they were about to get together--i didn't feel much of an excitement. But i was just happy how they ended up together.

Overall, i like how the story gave me a different expectations with the characters and story. And I enjoyed it most part.

**** arc exchanged for honest review ****

This is a really good book. To be honest it took me a while to start this and get into it but now that i have read it i have no clue why. I couldn't seem to put it down. I caught myself saying 'Hell NOOOOOOO' a lot :) So obviously something it's good right?!?

So about the book...

We have Jules who couldn't take the small town pressure of who and what she should be. Feeling smothered and hopeless she runs away. Yup, i said it, she runs away. With only phone calls periodically home she is in the dark about whats been going on in her home town.

Ok, so i have to stop because i almost gave stuff away.....

So, home = drama right. In my family drama is everywhere and in excess (maybe that's why i'm secluded a little and read ALL the time) but even still Jules has me beat by A LOT. Without giving anything away, i think i would have said 'F@#k that' and high tailed it home. But Jules is a better person than i apparently because she stays or does she?!

So, i think i have persuaded you to read it right? Well lets add the icing to the cake... The guys in the story are HOT. yup go figure right. We get it all; drama, love, drama, hate, drama, sex... mmm sex did i say drama...

So, stop reading this and go read the actual book.

Happy Reading :)

I was provided with a copy of this hook to give an honest review...

The story follows Julia who 5 yrs ago fled her small town hoping to move onto bigger and better things, leaving behind her boyfriend Mike and best friend Ben, after running for 5 years the last thing she expected was to get a frantic phone call from her sister saying she had to come back, their father was ill, hoping that she could get in and out without anyone seeing her was more she could hope for.

When things don't appear to be what they seem, she more anxious than ever to get out of the small town, then Ben appears, those feelings that made her leave all those years ago resurface but is it too late?!

Ben has only ever loved one girl in his life, his best friends Julia, he thought that he was over her after she ran off on him, just when he finally confessed how he truly felt, but now she's back in town he really should put this to rest, what he didn't expect was that those feelings would appear just as strong as 5 years ago!

I really enjoyed this story and found it a nice easy read, the characters were engaging although sometimes I wouldn't have minded giving one or two of them. Good shake!! I don't wanna say too much and give away the plot of the story, but would highly recommend that you give it a go!!

I received this book in return for an honest review.

This was my first book by Ivy Sinclair and I was thrilled with the book. I read this book in one sitting.
Jules grew up with two best friends - Mike and Ben. Their friendship took a turn when Jules and Mike began to date and then again when ben declared his love for Jules. Jules couldn't handle it and ran away. What happens when you need someone to help you find yourself but the two people who always did that for you were the ones you were running from.

When Jules returns to her hometown after 5 years to find her sister pregnant and about to be married, Julia must deal with all the issues she so conveniently forgot when she left town. Can she deal with the revelation of who Clary is marrying and her feeling's for Ben? Can you really be given a second chance when you so forcefully threw the first one away? How hard it is to deal with the comments and snide looks from others who are judging you for what you did but no not why you did it? As Jules pulls it together for her sister, she discovers herself and helps her sister figure out if her HEA is true.

Ivy Sinclair write a wonderful story that develops the characters and has you rooting for them and sometimes wanting to hit them. We all know people like the characters in this book. I really want to find out what happens to Clary.

4 Sweet as can be stars

Bittersweet Junction was a refreshing and incredibly endearing read. Everything about it was sweet the characters, story line and the love.

Julia Bell-Strong, Sweet and loveable. She made a poor decision 5 years earlier and now she is back in town under false pretenses. Since back in the little town she starts to reminisce about back in the days. She finds out what is important in life and what direction she wants to move forward in.

Ben Miller-Loyal, dependable, super sweet, lovable and affectionate. He is the best friend everyone wants to have. With his 2nd chance he is sure not to waste it. Goodness I fell in love with him. He was willing to put it on the line for Julia and did!

This was a quick read with that being said it was still memorable. The intimate parts of the story were tasteful but I was looking for more passion. The story line was great and the author did excellent describing the characters. It just seemed Ben and Julia had a lot of passion but fell short when it came to the sex section. But please don't take what I'm saying as negative this story is heartfelt and worth the read.

I would recommend this book anyone looking for an easy loving sweet read. You will walk away happy u did.

Julia Bell left her small town five years ago, and everyone in it, without looking back. Now she is home after being lured there under false pretenses. What she finds waiting for her is more than she could have ever expected. Julia feels betrayed immediately, and it is going to take a lot to get her to overcome that. We follow Julia as her return home stirs up memories that she would have preferred to leave buried. She is confronted by her past with her best friend Ben, her ex-boyfriend, Mike, and her sister, Clary. I loved the interaction of the characters. There was a closeness between them all that I felt connected to.

Julia is forced to face these people and take a long look at herself. This book is a coming of age, emotional roller coaster ride that I didn't want to get off of. Once I started reading, I didn't put the book down until I finished. This is a great journey of leaving, loving, and second chances.

Bittersweet Junction was a truly bittersweet love story. The book follows the story of Julia who left home 5 years ago and never looked back. Tricked into doing so, Julia goes back home to learn that her sister is pregnant and marrying Julia's high school sweetheart. Luckily for Julia, her childhood best friend Ben is there for her to lean on as he always was. But Ben has always loved Julia, and he and Julia must face their feelings for each other on top of deal with family drama.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I thought it was a really cute love story. I loved all the drama that the book had, along with the serious parts. I'm a huge sucker for romances where best friends end up falling in love and this was didn't disappoint. I loved all the characters and the storyline. I wasn't ready for it to end. I definitely look forward to reading more from this author in the future! I highly recommend!

I received a copy of this book through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

A word to describe this book...ADORABLE. This was an adorable book! I really enjoyed this one! I found it refreshing to read a book where there was romance but it was done...I guess tastefully? That makes me sound old-school but my from my perspective certain genre have morphed into a bit extreme and maybe that is some people's tastes but I would just wanted to be properly warned. lol This was less about all of that and more about the characters. You watched as Julia grew and worked at changing whom she was.

I just loved this book. I love the slow romance and retelling of Julia's past. It was done in a way that was not so much flashbacks but a way weaving it in and allowing you to know without it yanking you in and out of tenses.

I highly recommend this book and will be picking up more book from Ivy Sinclair!

I received this book free as an ARC for my honest review.

Julia Bell left Benton Hill 5 years ago to attend college, after college she still doesn’t want to return. She left Mike her high school boyfriend and childhood friend along with Ben after Mike was wanting to marry her, and Ben told her his true feeling towards her. Confused she escapes. The three of them had been friends forever. Julia’s sister Clary phones Julia and tells her that their father is in hospital. Julia returns to find out that her father is in perfect health and that Clary is pregnant and marrying Mike. She realises there is chemistry between Ben and herself, but with the rumours around town that Ben is dating Sarah, her arch nemesis from high school. Ben acts as her buffer with all the stress she is feeling with her return, but does that mean that they get a second chance to find out if it can work between them?

This story was a joy to read I was drawn into the story and could not put it down. Three friends since grade school they were inseparable, Ben, Mike and Julia are now preparing for life after high school graduation. Julia disappears right after graduation without any explanation and doesn't return until her sister contacts her saying her father's health is failing. But in actuality she is getting married and wants her sister to be her maid of honor. Once Julia learns the true reason for her sister wanting her home she has mixed emotions about staying. When she left 5 years ago she left a lot of unfinished business behind that she now needs to deal with. Julia and Mike have a lot of history together and now he is marrying her little sister. Then there is Ben who has always been the one to make everything ok, who has had a crush on Julia since first seeing her at 5 years old. This story is a clean romance with a lot of small town gossip. Great book.

I really enjoyed this sweet, small town, drama filled, story. It pulled me in right away. She dates him, he loves her, she leaves them, she returns. Now what?! After running away from her small town five years ago, without explaining the reason for her madness, Julia Bell returns to face those she hurt and works at righting her wrongs. I definitely found myself rooting for her.

I really liked Julia and Ben. They were sweet together, yet there was just the right amount of frustrations that made it believable. This is the kind of story that you could see yourself in the characters. This book had a good balance of love, anger, heartache, forgiveness….you get the idea.

Thank you, Ms. Sinclair, for allowing me to read and review Bittersweet Junction. I look forward to more of your refreshing stories.

Hooked From the Very Beginning!!

This was such a great story! I was given the chance to beta read Bittersweet Junction and I was hooked from the beginning.....I mean the visuals that Ivy Sinclair created are fantastic!
This book had me so enthralled I was practically hyperventilating with Julia, as well as feeling the anger, joy, sadness, and finally the ever elusive PEACE. Julia is hit time and time again in the beginning of the story and it is so wonderful to watch her reach inside and pull it together. You will laugh, roll your eyes, and maybe even cry a little, but I guarantee you won't regret reading this beautiful story!! Good read, first time reading from this author, I usually look for the cover and the info from the back of the book or any comments from the kindle version, this time a fell in love with the cover picture. It was a short story but well done she kept me guessing what was so unforgivable with mike and Clary's that Jules couldn't let go. But when you left something or someone and you aren't willing to reclaimed them back, we need to move on.
Maybe Clary's way to bring Jules back to town weren't the best ways but she did it because of her love for Jules and she'd need of closure.
Bringing Jules back to town not only got her bad memories or why she left but also good ones .
loved the ending and the way how both sisters handled their situations.

Happy endings are the best kind of endings and Ivy Sinclair tells them with entrancing creativity.
Pulled in from the very beginning with Julia Bell and her free spirit as she finds herself back in her home town after five years where she realizes the past may in fact be her present as old guilt and confusion resurface. Faced with hard truths and growing flames, Julia Bell struggles with the loose lips of a small town and her own hearts desire while maintaining her independently strong backbone.
Sinclair weaves a wonderful, emotional story with relatable characters entangled within the throes of struggle and romance.
With swoon worthy characters and heavy wistful sighs I had a difficult time putting it down.
