Milk: A Silent Killer

Rate this book
Your child drinks milk glass after glass, and you wonder why he is always ill, the doctors will never tell you… but this book will.

Dairy consumption leads to diseases such as mumps, colds, pneumonia, bronchitis, heart attacks, renal stones, arthritis, tumors and even cancer. This book dispels some of the basic milk-related myths prevalent since centuries. Break the biggest myth surrounding human health. Reclaim your power. And gift yourself and your family perfect health. The book was first published in 1987 as a voice in the wilderness proclaiming a message the world was not ready to receive yet. Now republished 25 years later, when veganism is a widely accepted philosophy, this book is here to be a revelation for all those who wish to heal themselves and lead a disease free life.

I feel this book is a bit dated, but still has a lot of useful information. Only drawback is that a lot of he concepts have been repeated multiple times.

Quite a revelation

This book by Dr. N K Sharma is quite a revelation for someone like me who was sold on the goodness of milk and milk products. Some of the few things which make this book a must buy are well researched facts, convincing arguments, the number of alternative options mentioned and last but not the least, the simple language which makes for an easy read.

Will recommend all to buy this book and go through it. It'll definitely startle you.

The truth! I mean the real truth, not something rubbed in your face. This is a revelation after all those horror stories of the benefits of milk of another species. All the lectures on the great quality of milk from other animals turned out to be a big fat lie. We are not to touch milk after the infant stage.
This book made me minimize the usage of milk and its by-products to such an extent that I use it merely as a spice in life just like salt and sugar, instead of treating it as food. This book needs to be read by everyone who suffered brainwashing at the hands of their elders.
What about schools? I hope that a day will come when schools actually become a beacon of hope for students instead of being mere money-making machines.
