Barrett Simmons, head of security for the famous rock band Lyric Hounds has managed to avoid the band members’ less-than-subtle matchmaking attempts. Since the woman he loved was killed in action, his heart has been as dry and dusty as the sands she fell on. He doesn’t want to date, in fact he can’t think of anything worse. But he didn’t count on his sister, Melody, making a call to Madame Eve...
A car crash two years ago left werewolf Saxon Reeves with amnesia and nightmares — but the nightmares aren’t of the crash. Instead she dreams of a soldier. A human soldier she can’t get out of her head. When her family pushes her to mate with a wolf from a neighboring pack, she decides to take one night, just for herself, and contacts 1NightStand. The last thing she expects when she walks through the door is to come face to face with her soldier...

I really loved Barrett and Sax's story. I couldn't imagine what Barrett had to go through for years thinking that he had watched the woman he loved die and couldn't do anything about it.
These two had a bond that could last years and a memory lose. I would hate to lost seven years of my life and have my family lie to me about it.
This author did a great job with this story and I can't wait to read more from her.
It wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t good! I liked the story line but it was way too short! I wish it was a whole book so we’d get to enjoy it more! And because it ended too apparently that didn’t help as well .. it needed a better , more detailed ending.
There was nothing extra in this new version. If you're going to redo this series it would have been cooler to give us more besides washing out anything to do with 1Night Stand that this used to be part of. The ending was just as stale as the original.
Second book to Mina's part in the 1NightStand serious. A man who thought he lost his love in the middle of a war zone, only to find as his one night stand. He's blown away when he sees her. Saxon has no idea that her dream man is her one night stand. She thought she had been in a simple accident, only to find out not only were years wiped from memory, but she lead a completely different life. Could not stop reading. Now yearning for more!!!
Barrett, the human security guy for Lyric Hounds (and brother to Melody) used to be a soldier and has been mourning the loss of his love in an ambush two years earlier. He's finally ready to try moving on and sets up a blind date with Madame Eve (the matchmaker who matched Melody & Aaron). He's beyond stunned that the woman waiting for him is Sax, his former lover who he believed was dead. Turns out, she'd survived but lost her memory and her family had been lying to her about having ever been a soldier and trying to get her matched up with another pack leader. They were unaware that she had a mate and that her subconscious had been pushing her towards him because of their bond for the past 2 years.
Really super short and it affects the story. This one felt a bit underdeveloped there towards the end. The build up to that moment they finally see each other again was the real focus here and very drawn out. The sex was pretty hot and downright explosive. One downside here is that while Barrett gets to revel in the fact that he finally has his woman again, Sax never regains her memory so doesn't really KNOW Barrett nor have all those memories of falling in love. All she has to fall back on is the mating bond. The ending here is very rushed. There isn't much time for them to talk or discuss their future or even take her family to task for their behavior. As soon as the "baddie" is taken care of, the story ends. So that was disappointing. As for the world building, it seems the rules are still being laid out (and maybe changing? - I don't remember biting being a means of converting humans to werewolves...what about Melody?).

I really enjoyed this story!! Barr and Saxx definitely deserved their happy ending and I was so glad they got theirs. They hook you with their story right from the beginning of the book. I was able to connect with the characters and wanted to see them figure things out. Barr believes Saxx to have died out in battle and she lost 7 years of memory and believes it was a car accident like her family told her. Her nightmares are the one thing that give her the idea that there is more to it. I loved how they were reconnected. This story is a quick read and I would have loved more of them. It's a short story and it flows really well and keeps your attention the entire time. There is plenty to keep you engaged, little bit of action, romance, second chance love story. This was a great story to read on my lunch break!
Sometimes what you think you know, isn't what is the truth. Barrett loved Saxon, who was the love of his life and had died during an attack in the desert by an insurgent. When he agrees to a blind date he's not sure he could go through it since he still loves his dead girlfriend. What happens next was not what he ever dreamed about. A fast paced and quick read. Great!!
Barrett lost his one true love in the war. Two years later and chance meetings lead him back to his one true love again and this time he's keeping her for life.
Interesting concept. Really liked these colorful character. Barrett was great and even though he was a soldier he was quite approachable. Sax was strong even with what she went through and what she was told.
I really like Mina Carter’s writing and this is no exception. This series has been an exception in the number of typos and errors. Normally her books are better edited. The story was good, but the errors were distracting.
I enjoyed this book and the extra novella. Both were fun and had a nice level of heat. Glad that Saxon and Tristan got their HEA. Mina Carter never disappoints.
I loved this book. There is nothing better than lost love that is found,I don't care how long it takes.Even death can not break the bond. I recommend this book highly!
The first book, Wolf Bound, was ok. I loved Barrett and Saxon, but the story was way too short and there was no claiming..which I'm used to in shifter books, just a wold bond. The reason her family lied to her was a little weak too...and there was no real ending to the book.
The 2nd book, Pack Princess, was better. A little longer so there was more explanation, but still some things left undone.
Evva is promised to another pack for alliance reasons..she doesn't want to marry the pompous guy, but will do her duty. When she sneaks away for a last night of fun, she finds her mate. What luck..she finds her better half and he's hit, sexy, and a beast in bed. Unfortunately , she will go through with her promise. That old line "Oh all the bars in all the world, she had to step into mine." Comes to mind with Razor when a princess walks into his MC clubs bar on night. He knows that she's leaving with him, but he doesn't realize that she will turn his life upside down when he decides to rock her world.
Razor and Evva are hot and when they find a way to be together, we can only assume that life for them will continue to be as hot as these tow seem to be.
Loved this story and how the pack princess becomes the Princess of the club.
Amazing. Another fantastic book by an author who has yet to disappoint me! A quick, fun and oh so sexy read that left me hunting down any sequels! And there's an excellent bonus book included!
He thinks she died and he can't forget her, can't move on, no matter what his family says. She's been told she was in a car accident but her dreams say something else might have happened. She wants one night all to herself before she gives in to family but in that one night she gets what her wolf really wants.
