Amy Morse (maiden name and writing fiction as: Amy C Fitzjohn) was born in Swansea in 1976. Growing up in the industrial heartlands of the East Midlands and later in rural Somerset, Amy now lives with her husband Graham Morse in the vibrant and eclectic city of Bristol, UK. Taught to read by her mother before she started school, Amy has always loved stories in all their forms. She has written, performed, told and shared stories her whole life and published her debut novel, The Bronze Box in 2013 – the fourth piece of novel length fiction, having started her first novel as a teenager (currently these works are unpublished). It was in 2009, when Amy and Graham emigrated to Bulgaria to establish a property business, that she found the time to rediscover her love of writing fiction, her time there forming the backdrop for The Bronze Box. Since then she has published the second book in the Sheridan and Blake Adventure Series – Solomon’s Secrets and the next instalment, Gabriel’s Game is in production. Amy’s career has always involved supporting and training people into employment and self-employment and writing business content, newsletters and advice booklets. Amy’s world as a Business Adviser has now met her world as an Author – She runs her own business; writing fiction, non-fiction, blogging and content, as well as providing training and advice to small businesses, freelancers and entrepreneurs, her specialism being business skills for creatives.
The Bronze Box is a novel that combines history and intrigue, travel guide and crime novel. It is a fast paced race to find an ancient bronze box which holds the key to secrets untold; and which, if they were to be told would undermine the security of the world in ways we can’t imagine. It is strong on action and the thriller style of writing means that readers are kept interested from the first page. It’s a great holiday read that will keep you entertained and most readers will be engaged with the story enough to overlook the writing errors that have crept in. I am looking forward to reading Amy’s next book.

As I follow Maria Gimbutas's life story, somehow it coinsided with the events in the book "The Bronze Box". Perilous experiences of a young striving woman archeologist in a proclaimed man's domain...
