They say life can bloom from ashes and death. Life maybe. But can Love do the same? A great warrior, a dead friend, a dark stranger, and a broken princess. In Fallen Warrior, the epic final installment of the Fallen Trilogy, all must turn to a forgotten legend to find hope. But can Ellia, ruler of Shaundakul turned Chimera warrior, sum up the strength of will to retrieve this legend's power? Hasn't Cyric's betrayal destroyed her completely? All is darkness and shadow. Do you know what makes the stars shine the brightest?
It may not have been perfect, but I loved it. A fanastic end to a great series! Great job Tess! And you were not kidding when you said it was long! Amazing
Careless editing ie too many grammatical and spelling mistakes. Plot so weak and implausible. Main characters were so annoying. Only good element was the was the mystical world that was xreated.
I love Tess's work, and this book did not fall short. Her writing style has an old time charm that I really enjoy, and the characters are always well developed. She is also very talented at writing from different characters perspectives, and keeping each perspective individually unique to the character they represent. Cyric's and Ellia's different perspectives are an important part of this book, and they are both very well presented. This book also provided a strong ending to the Trilogy. So many trilogy's I have read seem to have a great part one, a mediocre part two, and then a weak, disappointing part three. That was not the case with Fallen Warrior! In fact I enjoyed this book the most out of all of the Fallen books. It was great reading about Cyric's internal struggles, and Ellia's broken heart. The ending was fabulous, but boy did I have to wait until the VERY end to get it!
Overall I enjoyed the series. The characters were new and fresh. The story was not the same old dragon story. The kingdoms were all interesting to read about and imagine. And I loved the granted animals. Great job.
