Ready for the big secret?
A healthy, radiant body – from the hair and skin to the nails and teeth – starts from the INSIDE.

NUTRITION and GOOD DIGESTION aren’t optional, they’re critical. If you’re frustrated with your skin, a new lotion or potion won’t solve your problems. The most important lesson you’ll learn from the Skintervention Guide: You can’t change the outside without also changing the inside. This means changing what you eat…and how your body uses it. (Cosmetic companies aren’t going to bother telling you this.) Healing your body from the inside-out is the only approach that brings lasting results. Adding the right body care routine, free of unnecessary chemicals and filled with skin-nutrition, is icing on the cake and completes your clear skin, radiant body plan!
Take care of your body on the inside, and see a glowing transformation on the outside!
The Skintervention Guide can help get you there.

The Purely Primal Skincare Guide, formerly known as the Skintervention Guide, is a paid ebook by Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, and co-host of the Balanced Bites Podcast, Liz Wolfe. At the end of February 2018, she says the guide will no longer be for sale but will be replaced by an upgraded project.

How is the guide? AMAZING!

Liz did so much for me with her book, Eat the Yolks, so I was excited to read another one of her projects. Liz tackles skin issues and skin health from all angles, doing what she does best: busting myths!
This books went far beyond what I was expecting. She covers a bunch of different processes related to skin health like nutrition (a cliff notes version of Eat the Yolks, in a way), digestion, and products applied to the skin, differentiating what is toxic and what is natural and potent. She also covers health for nails, hair/scalp, armpits, intimate care, teeth, and more.

I bought this to see if I could remedy my eczema since I heard that Liz herself had eczema and cleared it. I followed her recommendations and for the first time in at least 13 years have begun to see a noticeable change in my eczema; the patches have softened and seem to be fading away! There are many other skin issues that Liz tackles in the book, though. Psoriasis, Acne, Rosacea, scarring, oily skin, dry skin, wrinkles, and more.

I'm a dark-skinned male so there was a lot of information in here that wasn't particularly relevant to me (like sunscreen, pregnancy health, makeup, etc). Liz also has sections dedicated to women's health, makeup, feminine care, pregnancy, and more things along those lines so a female reader will likely get even more value from this guide. Even with some of the sections being irrelevant to me, I found this guide to be more than worth the price I paid. The best part about buying her guide is that there is a resources page where she gives specific product recommendations with hyperlinks and exclusive email content.

With this guide, I have been able to identify and make the switch away from toxic chemicals that I regularly used. Now I use products that are truly beneficial to my skin and that don't harm the environment. Between specific product recommendations for specific skin issues, techniques on how to properly clean your skin, and nurture it with nutrition and digestion, this is a comprehensive guide that I highly recommend, especially if you have a specific skin issue and are not sure on what to do.
