A subject dear to children’s hearts is in the spotlight as Leslie Patricelli’s beloved baby character returns.
Watch out! Here comes Tickle Monster! Good thing this baby is NOT ticklish. Well, maybe just the feet . . . hee hee! And the tummy . . . pbbbb! And, oh no — not the armpits . . . har, har! Eee-hee! A spirited tickle fest winds up as a sweet family cuddle in a story sure to tickle kids’ funny bones.

A very cute board book that allows you to interact with the child you're reading to. It encourages you to use actions alongside the words and escape from the tickle monster! The pictures are perhaps a little dated by modern standards but adorable nonetheless.

Always love Patricelli’s books. Picked a few, for the girls and I to read for bedtime, from the library. We improvised a little bit and my three year old and my six year old were laughing.
I said earlier that it would be hard to choose a true favorite by Leslie Patricelli. Tickle comes closest perhaps to being a favorite of mine. I ADORE this one. I do. I love, love, love it. It's fun and playful. I think it has great again-again-again appeal! I think there are people who love to be tickle, and people who love to BE tickled. I think this appeals to both!
After five years, I can spot a new board book at my library from several yards away. I picked this up immediately. I thought maybe William was too old for this series, but he loves it and asks to hear it every day. I can't blame him as it is perfect for our family. I love that it is an invitation to play as well as a more subtle lesson body part vocabulary.
Very cute... H even runs away when the baby runs away from the Tickle Monster in the book. By a few pages in we're too busy tickling/being tickled that the book often gets forgotten. Not that the rest of the pages aren't worth reading we're just giggling too much.
The perfect book to have around after there’s been tension between you and your toddler. It’s impossible to read it without someone ending up in giggle fits because someone will get tickled. Really a simple, sweet story for bonding between parent and child.
