A Common Thread by Iona Morrison is an intriguing mystery read which is a part of The Blue Cove Mystery Series.
A Common Thread consists of multiple cases from the past and present that are haunting Jessie our protagonist and her fiance, police chief, Matt.
Jessie can see ghosts, travel through time to understand how and when past events happened. But most of all she has to rely on her instincts to make sense of things happening around her. It's this instinct that makes her realize that there is a common thread running through all the cases puzzling them.
Although part of a series it can be read as a standalone.
This series is worth reading for the chemistry between Matt and Jessie, Jessie's strong support group of women like Reba and Peyton, Jessie's fascinating powers and Jessie's constant fight for women rights.
Definitely would look forward to read more Iona Morrison Mysteries.

Love the hints for the next story coming out and can’t wait to read it! She is on my list of favorite authors because her imagination for telling a good story never disappoints!
