When the author dropped this and the one after this I knew I had to re-read the series. Excited to start this. Love this forbidden world the author has created.

This was devoured in no time at all setting up for what's to come in #untamed which I'm jumping into next. I loved seeing how much Reed & Devon haven't changed, they have stayed the same throughout, years later with children grown and one still a little one their love and need for each other is still as strong as ever.

Still happy living off the grid with their children surrounding them, protecting what is theirs.

My goodness, lord and heavens above. I just finished Daddy Reed! And damn I am totally obsessed with Reed, Devon and their children again. 

This is such a short novella but f**k it just contains everything I desperately loved in the first two books. I loved the responsiveness of Devon. And every growl Reed uttered I felt right in my bones. I love their teasing, their lust and their soul crushing connection.
The scene where Devon teases she might divorce it had me grinning like an idiot. 
And the fact that Daddy Reed is 63 in this novella only added to the immense fascination and love I have for him. 

And I love how this book sets up the storyline for The Untamed. I just can't wait to devour Raegan and Ronan story! It's gonna be sizzling for sure. 

I also adored the family dynamics in this one. How the boys have their own place. What happens when Raegan goes missing. And how different both Reed and Devon deal with it. 

This novella is just pure and utter perfection!

Know what I hate about short stories? They’re short. At the same time, I equally love them, an excellent cleanser of in-between books. Let's face it; I love Daddy Reed, so it's nice to see what these two are up to.

A lot has happened in twenty years since The Wild. Reed and Devon now have a tribe of children.

The love between the two is stronger than ever. Plus, they are still spicy and dirty as ever.

There is a small possible taboo aspect in the background and potential for the next generation in the series.

I loved this short story of one of my favorite couples.

This was cute. I really like older Reed and Devon, and I enjoyed the banter between the kids. I was a little surprised by Devon and Reed rejecting the idea of their children having what they themselves have, a bit hypocritical. I wonder how all of that will play out.

Being back in The Wild with Daddy Reed and Devon and seeing how their family had grown was like coming home.

In the wilds of Alaska lives a couple who started their life off together in tragedy. They were never meant to be together, but fate and life happened and somehow, they made their love that seemed so wrong work. Now, twenty years later and this family has grown into something that neither of them expected. As their children grow right before them, they wonder if maybe things aren't blooming in areas where they shouldn't be. The same thing that bloomed between them nearly two decades ago.

I've said it time and time again, but nobody can do Taboo like K. Webster. The moment chapter 1 started all the events of The Wild and The Free came rushing back to me like no time had passed. I was back in the wilds of Alaska with Daddy Reed and Devon, and all was right in the world.

While this was just a little teaser for The Untamed coming out later this year this short novella might just be the book that got me out of my reading slump.

If you haven't read The Wild or The Free by K. Webster then this book won't make sense because it is about twenty years after those books take place.

Still crazy in love after all these years, and with now 8 children. These two continue to spice it up together. And Reed still has a greedy hunger for Devon.

We get a look into the teens of the family and who they are as people.

So good, I love this world, and I can't wait for more books set in the Wild World!! Was this short story necessary or needed? No, but for fans of the series, it's fun.

It was funny how often Reed and Devon reiterated that they used to be/are daughter and father (though he is her stepfather) while there's no mention of that in The Untamed and The Unruly. It was interesting to get Devon's perspective on her kids, especially Raegan, Ronan, and Ryder, the three that have a relationship in the next two books.

Reed's like her pussy is still tight after all these kids and other things about how perfect her body still is, so when he mentioned her stretch marks from all the kids, I was like *claps*: okay, good, that's realistic.

How is it October??? I feel like I've accomplished nothing this year... God, I hate 2023.

* Found my review for “Wild & Free”, which is where the novella “Daddy Reed” was first offered, as a freebie bonus story in a two-book offering. It is an excellent story that definitely can stand on its own.

Well wasn't this a delish teaser! A book purely for the fans of this 'WILD' world and I loved it! Nice to see that after all this time Reed and Devon are still insatiable for each other and life is grand.

Like all small books, you always want more and that's how I'm feeling right now. As far as ratings go, it's always hard to rate novellas so I'm going with a solid 4.5.

Dual POV, you get to meet all the characters Im assuming are going to be in The Untamed (which I'm so thrilled to read) and ends just right, making you want so much more....

-So basically Devon went from being Reed's daughter to being his wife and having his kids..lots of kids. Years later and their sex life is still a 10 out of 10. It was spicy and their family dynamic was so cute. I loved that it was dual pov, I enjoyed reading each of their pov. It was a short read with no actual plot. A couple that started off as father and daughter to being husband and wife... Fyi he still sees her as his daughter and him as her protector. So this book is taboo romance.

I absolutely loved seeing Reed and Devon again. I think about these two every other day and they have such a special place in my heart.

Really enjoyed the time jump. Devon was still a young woman when we last saw her. Now they're both so much older.

Reed has always been a Daddy, but now? Damn.

4 stars because of the hypocrisy. You fucked and married your Daddy (and let's not forget about our other favourite couple), but your kids can't love each other. I mean fine, but that's rich coming from you.

This is a short story I didn’t know I needed until now. It’s been many years and multiple children later. It was so fun to see their kids and how they are with them. When you really think about it it’s a bit creepy 🤣 he’s there dad but also their grandpa 😳🤯 These stories aren’t for everyone and definitely don’t read this one before The Wild! You need to read from the beginning of their story to really appreciate this one. Daddy Reed is still HOT AF!!! I’m so excited for The Untamed to come out. I will be reading The Free very soon!

I just wish it was longer, but I guess it is a perfect tease to the new book coming out about their kids.

Kind of a weird vibe throughout. I understand it was considered necessary to learn about their kids for the upcoming book, The Untamed, but it just seemed kind not needed and was really too short to get into things. The spice was average and I think there was way too much reminding of us that Reed is her actual father, AS IF WE DIDN'T ALREADY KNOW LOL. But definitely a quick and easy read, and has me eager to continue the series!

Honestly, this was in the untamed collectors edition. This was only 37ish pages and while I did love the info dump and smut, it probably could have just been added to Wild/Free collectors edition. Maybe just a prologue to the untamed? I don’t know. It was super short and didn’t have too much involved in it. This doesn’t go to say I didn’t enjoy it or appreciate it. And I still recommend it.
