“By putting together this book, we hope to share with you that wonderful experience of being moved by tales of fear and hope, of being inspired by defeats and triumphs, and of simply being awed by the great spirit of these extraordinary Filipinos.”

60 Minutes: Interviews with People Who Inspire by Ivy Mendoza -- A book about stories of extraordinary Filipinos who first encountered defeat before triumph, filled with tales of hope and of never giving up. Every Filipino should have this book handy for trying times, for motivation if you can't even get out of bed. True to its purpose, in 60 minutes, or maybe less, reading the lives of these people would stir something in you: to move and do your part as a citizen of this country.
