Please start/finish the next book. I am impatiently waiting.
I am such a fan of these books, I stay up til 2,3 in the morning and spend the rest of the day reading. I am dreading the coming days with no follow up books to read.
I have enjoyed them immensely.

I love this series and this is #11 of 12 so far. I see the village of Castillac so clearly in my mind, where the story is set. There are such colourful characters that surround Molly, and places too. I love France and this brings back memories of the delightful villages there that we went to in 2001. These books want me to pick up sticks and move there. Her home called La Baraque, consisted of several Gités that Molly and new husband Ben rented by the week to tourists. So this, plus their detective business is what supported them both as Ben had resigned from his job as a Police officer. A man in the village dies of what seems to be a natural death but Molly has other ideas. Molly was American and after a tough divorce she had relocated to this village for a new life. She had settled very well there and made friends.
I enjoy Nell Goddin’s style of writing and will mourn the loss when this series ends.

Bittersweet Oblivion is written by Nell Goddin. It is Book #11 in the Molly Sutton Mystery series.
This is very light reading. It serves as a cozy mystery with an interesting location, a lovely book cover that invites one into the book, luscious pastries and likable characters. Molly Sutton solves mysteries in her new, adopted home of Castillac France. Molly has set up her home and B&B (Gite) business in the hopes of beginning a new chapter in her life.
Perfect reading for a sunny beach day or New England winter afternoon.

Wonderful story. I enjoyed the interactions between Molly and Ben, Frances and others. I loved the educational information on herbs and plants and the extremely cool ending. The mystery was well written and believable. thought provoking and chilling. I am just as invested in the personal story as I am in Molly solving a mystery. I want to know what happens with her and her friends even if there is no murder involved. My husband looked it up when I told him about the ending, so we both learned something new. This is definitely one of my favorites.

Fine. I listened to the audiobook and kept drifting off and had to replay. A little slow but the setting in France is always lovely. I was concerned starting that the murder was too obvious but that was done by the author as a storytelling device which was fine. The series is not over the top exciting but a happy, easy read with a nice touch of France and a little mystery.

Plot: a husband dies in the small town - did his wife poison him? Molly is on the case despite no one believing her.

I was so happy to see Molly back in Castillac! While it was interesting to take her out of her environment in the last book, the series is so much better when she's amongst her friends and family. The story was interesting, the editing well done and it was great to have her back amongst the usual cast of characters.

This was the 11th book in the Molly Sutton mysteries that take place in rural France. Love this series and the characters so much! In this one, a local man has died and Molly is sure there is more to it than a natural death. As she investigates, the murderer feels the noose tightening and does everything in her power to stop Molly. Such a great read!

This is book 11 in this fun series set in the French countryside. In this installment, Molly is back in Castillac casually investigating another suspicious death. We also have some secrets revealed about her small-town friends. Always looking forward to the next one!

After a break from reading this series I was happily surprised that my usual issues with this author - too many story lines which go no where - were lessened. They are a fun read, nothing too taxing, which can be just perfect at different times.

I've been a fan of this series since the beginning, and I was super excited to read this one. It was worth the wait and was as good as the previous books in the series, and I enjoyed reading it.

Liked this one so much more than the previous one. Mollys back in Castellac and all the characters in the village. We know who the murders is at the beginning. Angelic poisons her husband.

Losing track of characters, especially from past books. But still captivated by the overall plot and environment.

Much better than the last two books. A rapid ending as always. But I love the characters and the whole French-ness of everything. I can always imagine the food, the smells, the everything. However, there is still a plot line that has disappeared from a few books ago that hasn't been resolved or mentioned yet. Maybe it will in a future book?

I was so happy to see Molly return to Castillac in Bittersweet Oblivion, Book 11. It was great to see all the villagers again and interesting to look at the murder/murderer from a different point of view. Was there really a murder? Are Molly’s suspicions correct this time? Bittersweet Oblivion was an engaging mystery from start to finish. Definitely a good read!

I love the Molly Sutton mystery books and this being the last one so far and the eleventh in the series is the best one yet. Looks like Nell Godwin just gets better with time! The others are all a great read but this one had me wondering how Molly was going to pull this murder investigation to a positive conclusion. My only criticism is reading these books makes me hungry and I want to scoot off to tge nearest bakery to read with a good cake and coffee.
