This volume is the first where we start to get some real answers (in particular, about Xion), and I've always found that the lives of the Organization are really tragic, which is only shown more so in this one, with Roxas, Axel, and Xion. I love the friendship between the three of them, and I'm excited to read more in the next volume.

1) Deutsche Rezension

2) English Review
From my perspective this was the weakest volume of all. Not because of the main plot, do not worry. Axel's research on Xion's past is well executed, we see the further development of their friendship with Roxas and see more backgrounds.
What drags this volume down incredibly is the fact is that half of the itplays in Wonderland and Neverland. And these chapters are basically useless. They can be completely forgotten. They bring the main characters nothing (as did Axel's plotline or Xion's and Roxa's growing memories) and also tell us nothing new, they show nothing new. You could cut out 99% of them and in my opinion it would not change anything in the story.

Itse tarina on suoraa jatkoa edellisistä osista, joten nämä täytyy lukea ilmestymisjärjestyksessä. Taustalla on juoni, josta saadaa pikku hiljaa selvää tarinan edetessä.

Continuing from the previous volume, this had more of the realistic character drawings, which made for some funny segments! You could really see what the characters were feeling and thinking at those points (poor Luxord!)

Also starting to get into the more darker side of what's going on behind closed doors.

This volume was alright, I enjoyed it, and the story progression was good, Xion is a coot. But, there was too much Disney in this for my tastes and mood. I'm sure it's wonderful for someone out there, just not for me.
There's honestly not a lot to say. Reading this volume is necessary for story progression but it mostly just feels like Disney filler and you don't really need to look too deeply into any of it. Oh, but there was a scene or two about friendship and Axel realizing Xion and Roxas are his best friends. That was heartwarming and adorable. Probably my favorite parts of this volume, all my other favorite parts probably involved Axel as well in some way.

I'm kind of surprised how much I liked the manga adaptations of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, especially since the actual game was sort of a miss for me. I found the the pacing of the game glacial and the feeling of the Org XIII Headquarters very bleak. However, the manga goes along steadily and the interaction between the Organization members is really entertaining.

It seems like the strange humor that occurs in the previous mangas (KH1, Chain of Memories, and KH2) is better managed. I never really understood why people liked the nobodies of Organization XIII so much. From playing the games, I just couldn't relate or sympathize with any of them, but Roxas and Axel. However, I legitimately liked a few of the members by the end of this manga series. Reading 358/2 before I read the KH2 manga series paid unexpected dividends, because I was able to enjoy the humorous interactions between Sora and the Org XIII members so much more.

By the way, can anyone confirm that Demyx is the Org XIII member that gets blasted by the Claymore system in the 2nd KH2 manga? Because that would have been even more HILARIOUS than it already was if true.

Anyway, there's a good improvement in the overall quality of this manga adaptation. The art is consistently good. The story is well managed, even with the extras thrown in. I really get a sense of Roxas, Axel, and Xion's "feelings" throughout. I would absolutely recommend this series to anyone who wants greater insight into the characters and story line between KH1 and KH2.

After collapsing on a mission, Xion is out of commission, leaving Roxas to team up with Luxford and Axel to explore the realms of Wonderland and Neverland in search of more Heartless - but even when she wakes, will Xion be able to return to the field, or is Saix right to call her defective? Amano ramps up the humour and suspense in this entertaining entry, brimming with life on every panel. Just what is it that makes Roxas, Xion and Axel best friends despite their lack of hearts?

More like a 3.5 out of 5 stars personally I feel like there was not a lot of action, however the art style brightens my day it is one of my all time favorite art styles and I loved the friendships between Roxas and Axel. I can’t wait to read the next vol.

From Kingdom Hearts 2 we know that you can't have more than one nobody, but then what is Xion? Find out her origins in this volume!

Alright, things are starting to get serious. And I gotta be honest here; I really like this whole series, but this volume right here did something unprecedented.

Just to set things up: I hate Axel. I mean, I haaaaaaate him. I think he's a smarmy, backstabbing little weasel, he comes off as completely creepy and untrustworthy, and he straight up MURDERED my favorite character. I honestly have never understood his massive fanbase. Even in the Days game, when he's supposed to get more of a sympathetic showing, I never felt that for him. He was still just a morally bankrupt creeper, and not the awesome Minecraft kind. I can't stand this guy.

This book here. This volume of the manga, right here, made me have sympathy for Axel. o_O

Yeah. Seriously. The chapters where Axel finds out the truth about Xion and afterward when he's trying to deal with it are almost heart-wrenching. The art does such a great job getting across the feels he's having about this, and darned if that didn't get to me. Well played, Shiro Amano. Well played.

On the other fronts, the series continues to be awesome, even if I'm sad about the lack of Halloween Town anywhere. The art is fun and the writing continues to add so much to the story and characters.

And on a closing funny note: OH MAN, THE CRACK SHIP HAS SAILED. XD The Queen of Hearts crushing on Luxord has got to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life. That is permanently going in my headcanon for this game. HA!

Lovin’ this series! So much more detail in the character interactions, and in this one, you get to hang out with Luxord! (One of the nicer members of Organization XIII.) There are actually two Disney worlds in this one, much expanded from the game. And there’s quite a few EXTREMELY funny scenes.

Man, the manga for this game are just amazing. They are hilarious, extremely fun, and they add so much more personality to some of the flatter Organization members (particularly Luxord in this one). AND OMG the Queen of Hearts liking Luxord was just EVERYTHING! All of the Alice stuff was just perfect so kudos. I also loved the Peter Pan add-ons, and the comic strip at the end devoted to my favorite KH character Axel. I am loving this series for sure.

Now it feels like Shiro Amano is trying to draw things out. I mean, multiple chapters for each mission? I don't think any of the other missions had more than one (two, tops).

It slowed things down from the quick pace, but that's my only complaint. I still say that 358/2 Days makes a better manga than it did a game.

This might be the best one yet. There's a perfectly OK story here. There's one character who is one-dimensional (maybe two!) but the author sticks with him so there's a certain amount of building.

And the emotional parts of the story are elaborated.

It's not great. But it dramatically exceeds expectations.

Novamente, 358/2 Dias mostra por que é a melhor história de Kingdom Hearts. Sim, ela ainda está envolvida naquela confusão toda que é o lore da série, mas como uma história individual, funciona muito bem.
