A 2-week luxury Mediterranean cruise. With filthy rich glamorous “friends” I truly detest. And me, in a fake relationship with my brother’s best friend. All kinds of AWKWARD.
When Flynn asks if I will be his fake girlfriend at his ex’s engagement cruise, my jaw drops. Flynn and I fight like cats and dogs. So, why me?
He makes me an offer that is too tempting to refuse. Saying no would be a monumental mistake.
Catching feelings was not part of the deal. We are beyond off-limits to each other. But all that time spent together brings our unexpected lust to an explosive level that we have no control over.
The idea of an actual relationship in the real world sounds disastrous. But I’m afraid of losing him. Even though he’s not even mine yet.
Just as our bond deepens, Flynn's vengeful ex devises a wicked plan to tear us apart. I’m out — too much drama for me…
My brain says enough is enough. But my body says more, please.
Just when I’ve made up my mind, I discover the unthinkable has happened. Double pink lines. How can I walk away from him now?
"Don't let me go. Don't leave. I want you. Forever."
This was a cute story. Flynn Madden is not your typical alpha male. He's reasonable but awkward. A man who is in the business of advanced technology at Wired Reality. Colin Banks is his best friend and business partner, who's got a flare for having a bit of a temper. Flynn is still holding a torch for his model ex-girlfriend Adelaide, who decides to visit him one day to invite him to her upcoming wedding. Oh no she didn't.🙊 Yes. Yes, she did! For two weeks. In the Mediterranean. On a yacht. And when cornered, he accepted the invite with his fake "girlfriend" Stella. That's right, younger sister of the hot tempered Colin.
Stella Banks works at an animal shelter. She's a free spirit and quick witted. She's curvy and fun, the kind of woman you can call friend and is relatable. She doesn't like Flynn much. He's wealthy and lives in a whole other world from hers. And when she finds out what he did! 😡🤬 But Stella's reasonable. Right. She needs a donation to the shelter for her animals.🐾 Great plan. Love her!! Now let the love games begin.
A lot can happen in two weeks. The water. The stars.👩🏽❤️💋👨🏻🛥️ Bring on the attraction and spice.🔥🔥 Adelaide is seething! She's unapologetic and so vain. Cash is super cool! A petite Australian woman, yes her name is Cash, who is part of Adelaide's guests. She's soo nice to Stella.
Now, what once began as pretending, has now become a whole other thing. Is it real? Can Flynn and Stella go outside the bubble of make-believe? Will they confess their feelings? Can it work? Or will Adelaide have the last laugh? I hope you will read it and find out. Enjoy!⭐⭐⭐
Thank you Ms Vaughn for an ARC of your book. I'm voluntarily leaving my review.⛵🌠⛵
Alix Vaughn has done it again with The Billionaire's Invitation. What has she done one might ask?… well she's delivered two great main characters who have great chemistry, she's taken the story to gorgeous locations, and she's created an engaging plot which seems mostly realistic (minus the billionaire part) and gives the reader an HEA they can be delighted with.
Flynn is in trouble. His hot EX girlfriend has invited him on a two week engagement cruise. He's totally over her, but not enough to tell her no. So he is desperate for a date, and Stella (his business partner's sister) is available for a price--a hefty donation to her animal shelter.
Flynn and Stella could not be more opposite. At least on the surface. But the way they look at the world does tend to overlap. With a few well placed lessons about judging the other person without really knowing them yet, these two become a sizzling perfect fit.
I'm really having fun reading Vaughn's books. She's becoming a reliable source for a fun, quick read.

Engaging fake-relationship romance. I really liked the two main characters in this story. Successful businessman, Flynn, is invited to his narcissistic ex-fiancée's engagement ‘cruise’; I laughed at the way he makes up a girlfriend on the spot when she is insistent on his attendance. Matters are further complicated when he blurts out his business partner’s little sister’s name when his ex insists on details! Stella has always thought Flynn is an arrogant businessman, so exacts an expensive price (for her animal shelter) for her co-operation. I loved the way the story develops as the two grow closer on the cruise, despite their differences and the chemistry between them suddenly ignites. The story is a good read on its way to its HEA, and I especially enjoyed Flynn’s ex getting what she deserves!
Flynn and his best friend, Colin, are the young billionaires who own Wired Reality. I'm a burst of madness, Flynn agrees to attend his ex-girlfriend's engagement party after she ambushes him at work. When he says he has a girlfriend and insistent on a name and that she must come, Flynn blurts out Stella. He happens to know a Stella… Colin's sister and hatches the idea of pretend dating so he can get through this party cruise. Flynn gets Stella to agree and they have fun, but it's stressful being 'on' all the time until they realize there might be more than pretend between them.
Flynn and Stella were a hoot together. I'm so glad they had their time on the yacht where they really saw each other. Loved this book. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily providing my review.
Thoroughly enjoyed this. Pleasantly surprised by how much character development with Flynn as he starts to see his ex in a different light and grow out of the kind of man who would be in a relationship with her. So pleased with how Theo as a character was handled too, along with the rest of the guys on the cruise. Stella was a great foil to Flynn and their fun dynamic and ease with one another despite the nemesis premise was what kept the momentum going. Would've loved to see more depth to Stella's character as well, but overall a great quick read!
Flynn and his best friend Colin own tech company. They are billionaires. Colin has a younger sister, Stella. Stella and Flynn can’t stand to be together. Flynn gets invited to a two week getaway cruise, for his ex and her new husband to be. He wants to go so he slips up and says he has a girlfriend named Stella. He asks Stella to pretend to be his girlfriend. She says yes to getting her pet shelter increased and a lot of money. Well things seem to turn around after a couple of days together.
I highly enjoyed reading this book. I felt there were a few parts that were over the top, but the writing, characters, and story line are overall good. I felt the characters were relatable, the imagery and trip of a lifetime story were fun. I enjoyed the ending. It left we wanting to read more about their journey!

Tropes: *Brother's Best Friend * Off Limits * Fake Relationship * Enemies To Lovers * Surprise Pregnancy This was a real page turner. The story was very addictive from the start. Flynn and Strlla were fantastic together but his ex really is out to destroy them. Can they fight through all the struggles? Will her brother accept this? Excellent quick read.
Once you get over the fact that Flynn was trying to get close to the ex who dumped him, the story is a nice. Flynn has a sudden revelation that he actually likes Stella and is over his ex after one conversation with kinda random people. Flynn and Stella have cute moments and the spice is good. I would have loved to see a bit more of the pregnancy. I also wanted to see more groveling from Flynn.
This was a cute read. It was a bit predictable and I would've liked to see more development but in Stella & Flynn's relationship. It felt like they went from not being able to be in the same room together to being all over each other in the blink of an eye. Despite this, I'd still read this again. The h is interesting and more could have been told about her career. Flynn is an idiot. Being in love with an ex and then falling in love with the h so quickly was silly. Maybe the story would have been better if it had been longer and had more development. As it is, way too short and rushed. I skimmed most of it and didn't miss anything.
What started out as an arrangement to pretend to be together for Flynn's ex girlfriends engagement party turned real over the two week party. Unfortunately, it was a ploy for the ex to try to win him back, but by that time Flynn realized he didn't even want her, he wants Stella but it might be too late. Or is it???
The Billionaire's Invitation is an original, rocky romance read. Well-crafted characters and a unique plot. Passionate and steamy. Alix Vaughn has delivered another very good romantic tale.
I received an advance copy from the author and leave my voluntary review.
Very well written, perfect amount of happy and angst. The only thing I wish would be more follow-up on Theo and Adelaide and have had some scenes with the storyline about Stella being pregnant with Flynn before the epilogue.
Very different, but a good read. The entitled ex-girlfriend was a bit much. The get back together kept the story interesting!! Overall I enjoyed the story!!
Good quick read! It’s even a bit spicy 🌶️. Flynn is not your normal alpha male and I love that! The book was over all funny and well composed. I did not care for the audible version as it is read by an AI Robot.
Short, sweet, and a bit cheesy. There were definitely some cringe moments, but if you are in the mood for a short story romance between an established duo this works. There’s some cringe language in the spicy scenes, but I just kinda overlooked it. It was cute for what it was.
This is about a nerdy guy and a free spirited woman finding out they love, rather than hate each other. Some parts of it make sense but some of it is over the top absurd. Not sure I would recommend it.
A quick read hot and sexy read when you don’t want the jargon of complicated books. Basic storyline but written well. Great characters background settings.
