I do think this book/story has the potential to be good, however, I believe it needed more editing and development to do so. I do not think the character's backstory and personalities were differentiated enough. I thought of the 3 guys as a unit or one identity for most of the book, which I did not like. And there were several times throughout the book and the words that the characters used seemed completely off and not how their character would speak in my mind. I also thought the pacing was off. In the beginning, we knew everyone found each other attractive, but their thoughts didn't go into what they liked about each other as much. There wasn't internal dialog showing the characters warming up to each other, everything was hostile and then they are all over each other? There is room for character growth that wasn't explored. This story takes place around a winery and we don't get much information about the winery, growing grapes, making wine, or the workers employed there. Everything is very surface-level. I wasn't a fan of the nickname "Little fire." Also towards the end, Teagan talks about how she "could hear the ghost of the women everywhere." This came out of nowhere considering the only thing she knew about the women was meeting one, Teresa and it was for a second. We went from 0 to 100 real quick and there was not a lot to back it up. And I hated the ending. Why does every RH have to result in pregnancy?! I despise the pregnancy troupe. No one had talked about kids or the future and yet they never wore a condom, like how is it surprising? Also, the spicy scenes left something to be desired. I mean you have more than 2 people in most of the scenes and there is so much that could have happened but it was pretty basic and quick. Not a lot of detail which was disappointing.
