My Three Rivals

Rate this book
I’ve struggled for years to keep my family’s vineyard afloat, and now I’m desperate to save the only home I’ve ever known.

With my finances in ruin, ruthless developers offer me a lifeline, but their offer comes with stipulations I’m unwilling to accept.

But when I finally come face to face with my rivals, I find that the battle has just begun! As tensions ignite, I’m confronted with a new resisting any temptations from the men I’m determined to hate.

Atticus , the natural-born leader, has a piercing gaze that hints at a troubled past that only adds to his intoxicating magnetism. Wyatt strikes fear into the hearts of those who dare to cross his path, but beneath his hardened exterior lies a well-guarded vulnerability. Maverick , the master of witty banter and charm, masks a darker side that makes me beg for more.

Imagining a future without these three men tears my heart to pieces. But new revelations come to light, and I learn they can’t give me the one thing that I need.

This is almost as good as Lily Gold’s books. Almost. Not quite there yet but I enjoyed it very much. There’s progress and growth, and there’s a plot. Heavy, but bearable.

I liked how the guys changed their minds but it was done so quickly, though. Perhaps should dive more into that. But their slow fall for her was sweet, and I liked that the book didn’t just focus on the sex. Usually RH books keep throwing sex for like every 5 pages, but this one does not.

All in all, I think I’m going to read more books from Molly :)

I like this book a lot how they were trying to make her sale the rest of the place and they fight and then all 3 men fell in over with her and she fell in love with them!

I do think this book/story has the potential to be good, however, I believe it needed more editing and development to do so. I do not think the character's backstory and personalities were differentiated enough. I thought of the 3 guys as a unit or one identity for most of the book, which I did not like. And there were several times throughout the book and the words that the characters used seemed completely off and not how their character would speak in my mind. I also thought the pacing was off. In the beginning, we knew everyone found each other attractive, but their thoughts didn't go into what they liked about each other as much. There wasn't internal dialog showing the characters warming up to each other, everything was hostile and then they are all over each other? There is room for character growth that wasn't explored. This story takes place around a winery and we don't get much information about the winery, growing grapes, making wine, or the workers employed there. Everything is very surface-level. I wasn't a fan of the nickname "Little fire." Also towards the end, Teagan talks about how she "could hear the ghost of the women everywhere." This came out of nowhere considering the only thing she knew about the women was meeting one, Teresa and it was for a second. We went from 0 to 100 real quick and there was not a lot to back it up. And I hated the ending. Why does every RH have to result in pregnancy?! I despise the pregnancy troupe. No one had talked about kids or the future and yet they never wore a condom, like how is it surprising? Also, the spicy scenes left something to be desired. I mean you have more than 2 people in most of the scenes and there is so much that could have happened but it was pretty basic and quick. Not a lot of detail which was disappointing.

Why Choose, Enemies to lovers

*over 18 readers only*

Trigger warning
Off page scene of mmcs with other women before relationship with mfc
Trafficking
Extortion
Violence on mfc
Kidnapping

Tegan (mfc)
Bizzy (mfc cousin)
Emerson (mfc ½ brother)
Atticus (mmc)
Wyatt (29, mmc)
Maverick (mmc)
Lou (bad Mafia)
Nick (mfc cousin)
Sabby (mfc cousin)

Tegan inherited a vineyard from her grandmother. She goes to Bizzy for help since her family has run it into the ground. She has no idea what's about to happen.
Atticus, Wyatt, and Maverick have plans for her vineyard if they can force her to sell it to them. What she didn't know was that they already owned part of it. Now she is pissed and confused. They decide to pressure her into selling any way they can, thinking she's nothing but a spoilt rich girl. Basically, they are going to terrorize her into selling our leaving. None of them expect to fall for her. Plans change. But when Tegan finds out about the trafficking, things change again. The men knew and didn't tell her. She wants them to get away from Lou, but she ends up kidnapped instead.

I wasn't sure where this book was going at first. The relationship between the men seemed off, strained even. It took some hate smeggs to change things. I didn't notice any typos, but I read it between 10pm and 12am, so I may have just missed it. I was glad when the truth of Lou came out for the men's sake. And the redemption of the female cousin.

Molly Eden’s’My Three Rivals’ is a forced proximity reverse harem. Teagan is working hard to keep her family winery afloat after her stepbrother did his best to ruin everything. Atticus, Wyatt, and Maverick bought half of the winery from her distant family members and intend to develop the property.

Molly developed her characters and their relationship with a deft hand. Some danger, some misunderstanding, and a whole lot of sexual attraction. The guys buy into her vision pretty quickly and the love and caring is evident with the attention each person has for the other. A heartwarming story and a beautiful HEA!.

This story started really well and had great subjects. But, I do wish it had a better understanding about events within the book. I would have loved to see more about her relationships with the guys and how they built their relationship. Instead of doing a 180 and all of a sudden they liked her and then other events within the book happened too quick, I wish it would have been dragged a bit more; with more storyline to it. I liked them, I just wished learned more about the characters. What their backgrounds made them, them. Still love this Author.

I enjoyed the back and forth but everything unfolded (romantically) in a very unnatural way in my opinion. They went from hating each other to banging to caring about each other with no in between. There needs to be development, conversations, communication, etc. for it to feel authentic. Not the worst I’ve read but not great.

Very good book with wonderful HEA. It keeps you guessing as you read about what will happen next.

This book does need some editing to make the flow better.
