Not what I was after. I checked this out from the local library hoping to find information on how to hand quilt. While it has a handful of nice projects in it, I was disappointed with the actual hand quilting portion. There are few illustrations aside from how to properly hold the needle. I was hoping for more diagrams as far as the actual stitches, which were briefly described, but I'm a visual learner with these things, so it was wasted on me. If you're looking for some good projects to hand quilt, this is for you. If you're looking to learn how to hand quilt, like I am, this is not the best place to look.
I'm just learning how to quilt. My first quilt was done in class & the actual quilting was done by machine. This quilt I am working on now will be done by hand. This book is great at explaining what you'll need to do. It contains a few quilting pieces & diagrams.
