It is a nice follow-up book for the series. So the heroine Izumiko is going to attempt a new high school in Tokyo---and a high-ended one with lot of smart students nonetheless! but some of the students aren't what they appear to be! A bit more secret about the mysterious 'goddess' is revealed! Izumiko is getting a bit more friendlier with Miyuki (a boy, mind you)!
It didn't take me much time to finish this book, it is a light and enjoyable reading experience.
A fantasy/coming-of-age fiction. MC enrolled into a special school with a lot of its students having special powers. If this is a typical light novel, the story would probably be 70% fantasy (besting her classmates one way or another) and 30% character growth. But this is not a LN, so this book is quite the opposite: fantasy elements are just mildly eventful events for the MC to learn how to be comfortable with her own self, how to be more confident, how to make friends, how to develop friendships, etc. She is definitely still in the process of figuring all these out by the end of this volume. It may sound boring but I find it quite interesting to read because the fantasy and coming-of-age elements blend really well in the story.
