Fallen Secrets

When I tell you I stated up all night reading this story. I was pulled right in. I love how we have witches, wolfs, vampires, demons and angles. We get the perfect amount of spice with love and adventure. I was pulled right in and didn't put this book down til I was finished. I so want more of this series. I will so read this story over and over.

Couldn't put this one down!! It's a Must read for anyone who wants a unique take on PNR! Highly recommend it!
This book was like no other PNR I have read before. It's steeped in the mythology of old New Orleans magic of witches, werewolves, vampires, and more. It's a complete page turner. It reads like if you took supernatural and the originals mixed it together you get Fallen Secrets. Tons of twists and turns in this book keeping you guessing what will happen next.
I loved the multi POV's from the main characters and seeing how each one was affected by all the events unfolding around them. So if you love fated mates or insta love you will love this one for sure.
It's action packed with all the feels woven in that makes it a unputdownable book. I loved how relatable these characters were at times and how you can't help but root for their HEA. Honestly this book has laughs, sadness, and revenge woven into it making it a Must Read! Highly recommend it if you want something different that keeps you glued until the end!

This is one of those books that just sucks you in and you lose track of time. It has vampire diaries/the original vibes and that right there is enough to grab onto you. If you were a fan of the tv franchise I definitely recommend this book to you! It has vampires, werewolves, witches, and so much more. Obviously from the above it is a paranormal romance but if this genre isn’t typically your cup of tea this is a great place to start, because it will draw you in for sure!

This debut book was amazing. I picked it up and couldn’t put it down. This is a paranormal romance Sophia is coming of age and has all this new responsibility and a lot to learn. Then she meets Luca and she can’t seem to stay away. The backgrounds of the characters are well plotted out and and story flows smoothly and this book definitely deserves a spot of your shelf.

Fallen Secrets was a a book that was totally unexpected in the best way. I’m not a huge fantasy reader but this one was way more then I was expecting in the best way.
If you’re into werewolves and witches then this is a much read and if you’re not a huge reader of them I say still give this one a chance….it’s so good!!!!

Johnson’s debut novel and I was NOT expecting it to take me on that big of a ride!!
For my Paranormal lovers, this one has so much!

Sophia is a strong character that I ended up loving to read from her POV. I can’t say much more or it may give some of the story away, Read it honey!

And let's not forget the spice—oh, the spice! This story has me hooked, eagerly anticipating what comes next.

I wanted to like this book so much. Vampires, wolves, witches, magical powers, you name it set in an interesting background like New Orleans? The set up was perfect. But the main characters were insufferable. No one is able to keep secrets, everyone is born powerful and attuned to their magic that they learnt of 5 seconds ago- it gets repetitive. I did find some formatting inconsistencies, otherwise it was okay to get through the book. Wish the dialogues were less juvenile and word vomit-y (I get it, they are 18 and something, they will be kid like).

I picked this book up and could not put it down, I read it until I started falling asleep about 1 am lol. This book has everything I could ever want in a book. Smut, wolf shifters, vampires, witches even angels and demons. The spice was amazing in this but the plot and story was more than I could have ever asked for. I love that it is based in NOLA, I’ve been there a few times but this book makes me want to go and explore it more closely. I really hope she writes a part two because I need more!!!

Wowza!! This is my first book by C.R. Johnson and it definitely won’t be my last! Usually I’m only in the mood for paranormal every once in a while but this one blew me out of the water! The plot, the characters- Luca and Sophie especially made for one heck of a story! If you enjoy paranormal and super natural, then this is a must read!!

I went in blind to this book. It did not disappoint. It had all kinds of twists and that ending! I really like the way that she incorporated all different types of supernatural beings into this book. Being a Supernatural fan, I ate this up. And I myself had a dog named Sookie, but she was named after a different character. I love how I can relate to her books so much.
