My life used to circle around my three kids’ schools, sports, and activities. Now that they’re older and don’t need me to bring snacks after the game, I’ve decided to take the next logical step … write steamy romance novels.

I love game nights, Happy Hour, book club, golf, paddle boarding, and hiking near home in the Sierra Nevada foothills, California. I probably drink more than I should, enjoy too much time with girlfriends, and over-indulge in “ME” time. Olivia and Theo get engaged after being together for 6 months. But right after Oliva said yes, Theos best friend Nico shows up.
And Nico is Dominic, Olivias one-night stand from two years ago. Only she never made the connection that all the stories Theo told about Nico is actually Dominic. And whenever Theo talked about Olivia he called her Livy so Dominic never made the connection either.
Olivia now stands at a crossroad, tell Theo about her amazing night with Dominic that she never forgot or pretend she doesn't know him and never bring it up again, and get Dominic on her side.
And maybe Olivia isn't the only one keeping a secret.

And the ending is sweet and felt really realistic and how it is for many people.

You got the feeling that something was off when she questioned if she would accept the proposal before it happened, and when he disappeared for "work" and also why did he have to go outside the apartment to take a call if it was from work.

I liked how it went a few years before Olivia and Dominic met again, that they didn't start something quickly. And that they both had moved on a bit, it made the story feel more lite real life.

One thing that bothered me a little was when Veronica said that Dominic was always there for the wedding planning and not Theo. Because, sure we didn't know about Lily yet but Theo had a job and sometimes you can't get off work. And Dominic worked in London at that time so of course he was available, he didn't have a job to go to in the US. I would have loved if that piece was formulated differently.

I thought the book was going to be a choice between Theo and Dominic, that you as a reader would end up either agreeing with the choice in the end or end up disappointed.
But it wasn't and it made me happy.

This is a one night stand and second chance romance and it is Olivia’s story. Olivia owns her own bakery, works hard and has a great boyfriend Theo who had just proposed to her after being together six months and Olivia said yes but when she meets Theo’s childhood best friend Olivia is shocked because it turns out that Nico is the man that Olivia had a explosive and memorable one night stand with two years ago and now her life had just got very complicated. When Nico meets his best friends fiancé to say that he is shocked is a understatement because he never forgot there memorable night together because she completely rocked his world and hoped he would see her again but not like this and now it is bringing all his feelings that he had tried to forget but he can’t do anything about it. Olivia feels that something isn’t right with Theo and that he is hiding something as he seems distant and always busy but when she finds out everything around her falls apart especially as it was only a few days until they were supposed to be married. Wow this book takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions with everything that is happening and I couldn’t put this book down as it was such a page turner and so addictive and I would love a epilogue to find out what happened after the ending. Sofie Daves is a brilliant author and writer and I can’t wait to read more of her books and I definitely recommend you read her books and you will not be disappointed.

Narrated by Olivia Theo and Doninic . Olivia the nut and it seems Hydrangea allergist, owns her own nut free bakery next to her now best friend Veronica’s flower shop. On the night Theo proposes his best friend Nico or as Olivia knew him on a one night stand two years ago Dominic!? There’s more surprises to come and somehow an happy ending but for who? Read and find out. Great romance read with great descriptions.

This was a lovely story and a bit confusing at first I thought there were 3 characters, but it's different. We become involved in the lives of Olivia, Dominic and Theo. Olivia has her own nut-free bakery and it's cozy next to her best friend Veronica's flower shop. She then meets Dominic, whom she knew under a different name when they had a one-night stand over 2 years ago. How do things go between the characters and who gets a hea and who does things go differently. This is definitely a must read.

Olivia thinks she has found the one and that life is perfect. After all she has her best friend the effervescent Veronica, chef and fellow bakery owner Todd, the business is in its second year and thriving. Then she has Theo. Theo is quite possibly the love of her life and proposes to her on Valentine's Day, about six months after they met.

Life couldn't be better could it? When Theo's best friend Dominic turns up on her doorstep she is, to put it mildly, stunned. Dominic is the man she had a one night stand with a year ago, the man she has not quite been able to forget but she is now getting married and so Theo is her future, Dominic her past.

Then Theo begins to act strangely, suddenly missing important meetings about the wedding, working late. When Olivia finds out the truth she questions everything.

An easy read, a delightful read, a charming love story with a HEA which all the characters need after all their ups and downs!!
