This is a story about firsts—love, hate and agony.
Olivia Taylor’s life turned upside down when she found out her mother was moving into her boyfriend’s home. The glitch? The boyfriend had a son named Greyson—the guy she loathed more than anything.
Greyson Edwards was your typical arrogant self-entitled jerk. He loved to taunt and tease Olivia. But the more time they got to spend together, the more complicated things became.
Will these two stubborn folks ever figure things out?
Will they let themselves feel what was truly boiling underneath the angst and unveil the passion that’s only a mere kiss away?

cliffhanger that makes no sense. heroine that can't get her crap together. hero that loves her with everything and still a wishy washy stupid secret keeping love story.
I was mixed on this book. It contained so many elements that HATE when reading a book. Why not just effing TELL him that she's being blackmailed to stay away from him? If it were me, I'd insist on proof of Edith's cancer cuz I have a feeling she's gonna make a miraculous recovery after the wedding. I'm sorry but NO ONE is that selfless to stand by & allow the man you love marry a conniving, blackmailing bitch. I wouldn't. No way in hell. Pretty sure we'll find out Edith wrote the "break up note" in the 4th grade. Which leads me to......Grayson should've gotten over that shit by now. Really. It's just weird that he's still hung up on it. Also, so her Dad is gay. Pretty sure her Mom has already told Brett. Pretty sure NO ONE will fucking CARE. Not in this day & age. 30yrs ago maybe. I just hate these books where the heroine & hero don't talk about things, allowing gossip & misunderstandings to ruin their relationship. Damn people, lay it all out & let the chips fall where they may. Don't move to another country. I've gotta say, an 18yr old boy can't take care of a terminally ill 18yr old girl. And what girl wants her fuck buddy to have to wipe her ass & clean up her vomit? Cuz I've had to care for a terminally ill person & it is HARD. Can't do it alone & have to really love the person. Who puts that kind of burden on a HS graduate? What about college? Idk, book bothers me in so many ways.

4 stars because it's better than the boring books I've read this week. It certainly kept me glued from start to finish. Not saying this is a good book, simply that it didn't bore me.
This book is full of high school teenage love, drama, and angst. It's a trainwreck, but I loved Greyson (H) because he was so in love with Olivia (h)!
We have a super manho H who sleeps around, and an one dimensional Mary Sue h, a selfish, wishy-washy idiot who couldn't stick with 1 guy! I HATED this girl! SIGH but thats why these books are angsty, because you hate these characters...
BIG SPOILERS
The H/h met when they were in 3 rd grade and fell in love and went out. They broke up shortly after, because he kissed her best friend, and the best friend blackmailed her into breaking up with the H. They never discussed this but it happened when they were 10 yrs old. This best friend ends up being the "evil OW" in this duet, because she's obsessed with the H. He's been pining for the h all this time by bullying her. At the start of their senior year, her mom got engaged to the H's dad and they move in with him.
so this book is about drama caused by;
- The H loved the h secretly, but he spent the majority of the book fucking other girls. MCs get together towards the end of the book, and then they break up. He says he was celibate, although she didn't believe him because he was such a huge manho! While they were sleeping together, he was faithful, although that was never discussed. He was never the issue though, you can see how much he loved her and only her, it was the h who was using him for sex.
-The h loved the H, but she didn't realize it, and spent the entire fucking book breaking his heart, making him feel like he wasn't good enough for her, and keeping the poor H2 waiting for her...
- it ends with a stupid cliffhanger. She moves to another country for college, and hes about to marry the OW! The best friend he kissed in 3rd grade. Reading spoilers in book 2, they DO get married. The OW had more history with the H than with the h, since she's been his fuck buddy for years. Apparently, she had cancer and the H married her because of it. I won't be reading this series further.
- the OWs blackmail made no sense. the heroine's dad is gay, the ow threatened to tell. First of all, her parents are divorced and he lives in another fucking country...why is this such a threat. I hate books that doesnt follow logic.
A train wreck! Both main characters are totally off their trolley tracks. Complete messes with no hope for recovery. Over-the-line nonsense that makes absolutely no sense. Reality missed its mark here. I didn’t connect with one tiny particle involved in this one. I’m not going to spend too much time on this review either.
Supposedly, two third graders fall into the forever after kind of love while playing spin the bottle. Along the way to fourth or fifth grade something happens and I was never really sure what the biggie problem was – and still don’t – but something broke them apart. At that point they are horrible to one another. And some may argue that it’s Greysen that’s the mean and out-of-control side of the story but let me tell you, Olivia was no angel. She was just as mean, a serious tease, and out-of-control herself. There’s an overload of crude, rude and plain old stupid. Way too much sex, alcohol and drugs for high school seniors with absolutely no parental control. No legal ramifications, no police on the scene at the wild and unruly parties – and I just didn’t fall for any of it.
Add the fact that it ends with a big old ugly crazy unbelievably unrealistic cliffhanger. And you know what? I don’t care to know if these two go over the cliff or saved themselves. And after saying all that, I could add a ton more negative adjectives and it still wouldn’t be enough.
Pamela Ann’s writing isn’t the problem. Fairly well-written and a clean edit. Otherwise, my recommendation is to take a detour.
This book is one serious bubbling pot of messed-up. People fall in love. People break up. People fall in lust. People break up. People fall in love. People break up...
It just goes on and on and on. Until you're not quite sure why you started reading it in the first place!
Well. I'm so not surprised! I can always count on Pamela to take me down memory lane when it come to roaring emotional reads. This one is no exception. Truly amazing, tantalizing, gut-wrenching, heart-slamming and awe inspiring. I say yes to Greyson. Let's add him to all her other alphas she's given us. A must read! One-click chicks get your finger's ready babes<3
SERIOUSLY??? WHAT WAS THAT?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW? I NEED THE SECOND BOOK RIGHT THIS SECOND!!!
Pamela Ann never ceases to amaze me from her writing. She is pure genius when it comes to angsty and hot romance. I have never felt so frustrated by her books before but I have felt so many emotions and this was no different.
Olivia and Greyson have been each other's first love, first kiss and first heartache. And as soon as they grew up, they hated each other constantly. But the time came and they can't fight the attraction anymore, they resorted to a forbidden relationship.
Their scenario was very complicated. Other's may think it's effed up but it was still love and no other feeling could compare from it. Their story made me laugh at times, it also made me tear up (actually, I teared up more). There was so much feels.
During the end though, I just wanted to scream and reach into the book and keep them together. It was frustrating as hell to witness their hurt.
The last surprise at the end, I can't help but feel that it was all a lie. Just a lie to keep Greyson trapped and guilty. I can't freaking wait for the next installment!!!
( Actual rating: 2.5 stars ) Ladies, don’t say I never warned you.
“You’ve always been mine,” he murmured, looking torn. “You just wouldn’t allow it.”
Yup, it’s true. Greyson really was your typical arrogant self-entitled manwhore jerk turned sappy and overly romantic (and gasp - in just a matter of days, ladies & gents! Woop di doo.); but I guess that’s the irony of it all – a double edged sword whereby I just can’t win either way.
I had a hate/love/hate relationship with him. I hated that he was SO obvious and cliché and bad boy and slutty in nature, all the while being so protective, possessive, passionate, and a social drug-user (if there ever was one). I was wildly intrigued, enamored, and totally “in-like” and mad swooning for him. Big time. I really hated that. But that’s not all.
I really love-hated his undying passion for Oliva. Liv. She had the personality of a wooden plank. Translation: ZERO personality. She was just like a blank sheet of paper, and it was like the author was describing her “blankness” and how a paper is a paper, you know? It was horrible!
But I have to admit that there were some very steamy, hot & bothersome scenes in this book that made for the perfect, guilty-pleasure read. Like, high voltage – sweaty goodness, not-suitable-for-kids kind of stuff, which was totally mouth-watering & worth all the bull.
But the bull shall not be ignored. It can’t be. It bothered me too much and sort of ruined the whole experience for me; I would’ve rated this book so much higher if it wasn’t for these TWO disastrous issues.
1) Liv was a cowardly “mind” slut who just strung guys along. Her favorite pastime: lying. And it wasn’t the vulnerable, likable kind of lying, either. Nor was it the completely evil and conniving but still somehow likable in all her badassery kind either. It was the cowardly, selfish kind. And was it really plausible that she was a , even after proclaiming her “love” and intent to move in with hottie Aussie bf after HS graduation? Pshhhhhhhh.
2) That cliffy ending. UGH. If I wanted to be “punished” I would’ve stuck with academic reading and homework. NOT a stupid, crazy, SOAP-OPERA inspired, whacked out ending like that. I thought I’d spontaneously combust from all the rage. Truly, I felt ripped off with the ending.
And it was going so well.
I think if you’re simply looking for a fun, angst-filled, chemistry driven read with all the quick-n-dirty scenes, this book will probably quench that thirst. Otherwise, you’re going to probably need to learn a few tricks to keep your temper in check, because that ending will piss you off. 8 stars...no exclamation...coz i feel totally sad...and I want to kill a witch! with a capital B!
I just finished this novel around 12:30 Midnight and I don't think sleep is a good thing to do after reading SUCH an ending...it was too...frustrating? I just feel all this pent up hate! but at the same time I feel tired! yes, tired! Like all my energy got drained and I feel pretty depressed right now. So Here I am, online at 12 midnight to RANT!!! And the worst thing is? I have to wait for months to read the next book!! how long?!?!? I don't know!!! so Please, clue us in, dear Author. I've been waiting for this novel since November 18, the day I finished reading FOY, so please, don't let us wait for too long. HAVE MERCY ON US. :(
I love this novel so much, but if you hate cliffhangers, DO NOT READ THIS novel, coz gawwwd! I want to turn back time and wait til the next book is out coz...this novel just messed up with my head.
The story started really REALLY GOOD! and Oh my god! I was friggin' giggling for hours!! and I was all smiles and shit, and the ending left me...oh wait, why am I talking about the ending already? Whatever, I'm not gonna tell you much about the novel, just that it's really good and it's worth your time. I've read it in less than 8 hours so I'd recommend you read it without any disturbance to really feel the story AND! Avoid any human interaction after reading the novel, coz I do feel like punching someone right now just to release my pent up anger for that WHORE!!!!
I hope she's lying! and Please, Dear author!!! DO NOT HURT US THIS WAY! Don't let it happen!!! I don't friggin care if that 'HORSE' is.....ARGHHH!!!!!
Now, I'm looking for some really good novel to read, to distract me for awhile..and in a few hours, they're going to release CHERISHED by Kelly Elliot, so I hope it's gonna be a good distraction.
Pamela Ann's novel can do that to you, but damn! I have to wait for a few months to read book 2!! and a few months might be 6 months! Fuckin A! Now....when are you going to release UNVEILED? I thought you were going to release it last September? can't wait for Dimitri!!!!
_____
OMG!!! It took me awhile to notice that I haven't mentioned the characters!!! I've been busy ranting about that witch!
I totally loooooooooooooooooooooooove Greyson!! damn! He's such a sweet guy and he's totally in love with Liv which is really cute!!! The opening of the story's totally sweet!! I just want to kiss that eight year old Greyson who asked Liv to be his girlfriend, how adorable!
You know what I love most about this novel?? That it was written with a dual POV!!!! how awesome is that?
OK, even though there was so much bloody unnecessary drama there with young adults making their lives so unnecessarily difficult instead of just going with the flow and shutting off their unbelievably nonsense thought trail, there was tension that kept me reading and you can't fault that. It was actually pretty well portrayed cause I was thinking back on my own messy teenage years and yeah, I guess we were all a bit crazy back then?! And, Edith was a Grade A bitch but you need one of those bullies in every book. Nice reading for a change.
OMG I really tried but this book was horrible, I don't even know how to describe the characters we have Olivia she's about 17 or 18 year old and is living the life of a grown woman. Then we have Greyson a real man whore and not the sexy kind. The both of them are so stupid I have no other words for them. They go back and forth one minute their hot then their cold. The dialog was so cheesy the scenes made no sense. This book made no sense and the ending was ridiculous.
For once, Pamela Ann actually wrote a male character that didn't speak like Mr. Darcy or someone from another century. And thank heavens for that because this was her first foray in YAish and if a high school senior spoke like that, that would've been straight up creepy.
Pamela Ann's works are akin to Harlequin Romance novels. The H is a playboy, loaded and a horndog. You get whiplash from all the ping-ponging/i-love-you-i-love-you-not that the h makes the H go through. The author is very well versed in writing UST and I think this is a huge part of her appeal. She has a lot of fans.
What I hate the most about her "writing template" (like Abbi Glines, she has a writing formula down pat) is that she likes to delve in OTT drama especially near the end. I'm not going to spoil what happened in this book. But let me point out what happened in a previous book to prove my point - the H almost dies from a car crash in which he had to be revived causing the h to miscarry.
I'm sorry to does who love this book, but I hate it. It is so frustratingly depressing. There is a limit to how many times they split up and it is so annoying how the mom of the girl is just like make her happy because she's dying. That just pissed me off. If I were dying I wouldn't make a guy marry me even doe he hates me, I wouldn't black mail his girlfriend so she left him and would marry her instead. I also read a review and I really agree because it was really depressing how much HATE there was in this story and that she should have just told him she was being blackmailed. The ending in the book is really important to me. It is really frustrating but a good story. They shouldn't split up so much. In the end Olivia shouldn't feel the pressure to make Grey marry Edith. Grey should make his own decision if he wants to marry Edith or marry the girl he loves.

THERE ARE SPOILERS HERE! i want to cry because i want the next book so badly this is amazing omg Grey most of my dreams for the next year will be of him he is like the perfect wet dream. I NEED THE NEXT BOOK. Olivia Olivia Olivia F*ck Edith bitch can go die she is a psychotic b*tch doesn't deserve grey she deserves to die alone forever (i sound like a heartless queen and i still don't give two F*cks) If i met a girl like Edith i would happily punch her in the face. If Olivia goes anywhere near Liam again Pamela Ann i might need to hurt you. OLIVIA+GREY=LOVE GREY+EDITH=HELL ON EARTH OLIVIA+LIAM=COMPLETE AND UTTER BULLSHIT
PAMELA ANN I LOVE YOUR BOOKS YOU ARE AN AMAZING AUTHOR!
Only reason why I can't do 5 stars on this one is b/c the h is entirely to wishy-washy, back and forth...she loves the H but just can't get her shit together enough to "woman" up and go to him even though he bleeds his love all over the place for her! Everything else I loved...the drama, the teen angst--all good ...but Here's to hoping the h will grow a pair in part 2!
GRRR...I hated this h. She ruined this book. She. Was. SO. STUPID. Classic TSTL basic bitch snowflake.
The H was lovely, but a whore and a dumb 18 yo boy. I didn’t really mind it too much, but he made a statement about not being with anyone since he was with the h (despite some situations that left me doubting that) and I needed that clarified.
I hate when communication (or the lack of) or fearing honesty when both H/h lay it almost out for the other are the reasons they can’t get their shit together and be happy.
Let me say it again. I. HATED. THE. HEROINE. All 2 stars are because she ruined some awesome angst with her dipshit stupidity. If she’d come clean about Edith (in 3rd grade or present), or, I don’t know, the author used a different plot device, I could have given this all the stars.
Alright.. so I normally read but I don´t give reviews.. but I feel like I have to this time…
This book was… well I don´t really know where to start…
whaa now that I actually wrote it down it sounds even more stupid. I gave two stars because I read it in 3 hours and it did entertain me in some kind of way (maybe not a good one.. and maybe I also had to roll my eyes quiet a few times.. well let´s say a lot of times)
I´m pretty sure I won´t bother to read the second book.. also because the writing was pretty bad (even I think that and I´m from Germany.. so please don´t judge my writing.. I´m not a native speaker) ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
This was my first read by Pamela Ann and she rocked my love for this book. I absolutely loved Greyson, he makes my book boyfriend list! He was so adorable, sexy, possessive, sweet and so in love with Olivia! My heart kept breaking for him everytime Olivia was close. Greyson loved Olivia ever since they shared their first kiss, which sealed her fate to forever be his, unfortunately her best friend Edith had also set her own sights on Greyson and broke them apart, which Olivia confronted her over and lead to the end of their friendship. Edith continued her pursuit to claim Greyson for herself and he believed the lies of the rumour mills concerning Olivia being a slut. Over the years their hatred for each other deepened, and Olivia had to deal with living in Greyson's company as her mother was in love with his father. No longer being able to completely ignore each other, Greyson admitted his true feelings for her, but Olivia is unable to forgive and forget the past so she kept pushing him away, leading him into other arms and accepting that he was no good for her. Now Olivia annoyed the hell out of me, I wanted to shout at her so many times as much as I loved her, she really denied to give herself fully to Greyson, she was the one for him and Olivia really delivered some hard punches that created so much heartache and angst, that made me scream how could you do that to him argh, but Greyson fought her all the way, and only her thoughts to protect her loved ones and still confused over Liam, did she keep him in the dark and denied herself happiness. The scenes between Greyson and Olivia were hot hot hot! I loved this pair, hated the cliff hanger and Edith man what a b***h is she telling the truth?? I can't wait to see where Pamela takes this story, and I really hope that Olivia fights for what she wants, waiting in anticipation with so many scary scenarios in my head argh! Bring on Pieces of Us!
This is the story of Olivia and Greyson. They have a past history, now they hate each other or do they? Oliva returns home from Australia to find that her mother is in a relationship with Brett (greysons father) and she will be living with them for the summer. And the fun begins, unbeknown to Oliva, Greyson really doesn't hate her, he loves her, but just can't forgive her for breaking his heart when they were younger. He's turned into a real player, Hot Sexy bad boy personified !! Olivia has her future mapped out and Greyson isn't a part of it. Even so they chemistry between them is off the charts, and she finds the more time she spends with him the more she's attracted to him. I loved this book, Even though they are young, and their emotions are all over the place, you can't help but be drawn into this story, at times i was sobbing, i just wanted her to STOP messing about with his feelings when he was laying it out, and it was obvious to everyone but her how he felt. I found Olivia frustrating at times but as the story progressed i started to see where she was coming from.
This book had just the right ammount of angst and hot sexy scenes, and i couldn't put it down !!! Loved it but i really hope there isn't long to wait for the next installment or i might just start screaming !!!!
Well if you like books with angst, jealousy, hot sex and characters that are indecisive as hell (I wan't you, no I don't; I hate you, no I love you!) then you will LOVE this book. I obviously enjoy these types of books, though they also annoy me to hell.
The first book starts when Olivia and Grey first meet in third grade and focuses on their teenage years in the USA. They have a love/hate relationship, which later evolves into a romantic/sexual relationship.
Liv and Grey mistrust each other so much, that they can't stand each other though they have this sexual pull. Throughout most of this book I wanted to slap Liv. She had this amazing, hot guy who wanted her and yet she kept pushing him away due to misunderstandings. If she had just communicated what she felt and what she wanted then half their problems wouldn't have happened. But of course this doesn't happen, and this is where the drama builds.
The first book doesn't have a HEA and it sort of ends on a cliffy. Thank GOD the second book is out.
If you are a fan of Pamela Ann's books then this one is part of her usual style. I was thoroughly entertained and pissed off at the same time.
Wow! Once again Pamela Ann knocked my socks off with her talented writing. She is pure genius! The angst rolls from the pages and seeps into your soul. Pieces of You and Me managed to envoke so many emotions, making me angry, happy, sad, mad and sometimes multiple emotions at once.
I absolutely loved this book, I know SHOCKER right? No, but seriously even though the characters are young, and their emotions are all over the place, it is still relatable. Who hasn't been young and in love and not known which way is up? These characters were exactly the same. Sometimes I wanted to shake Olivia, to shake some sense into her, but as the story went on I began to understand why she was acting the way she was. Greyson, Grayson, Grayson, he instantly stole my heart and ran away with it. He has a huge heart and he knows exactly what and who he wants, and will stop at nothing to make her see it. I may or may not have screamed at the end but Pamela likes to keep us holding on and begging for more. So, I am impatiently waiting for book 2.
OMG I need book 2 like NOW!!! Like most Pamela Ann novels, I devoured this in a day. Out of the books I have read of hers, this is one of my favourites. I fell for Greyson instantly, I mean what a sweetheart. He is nothing but honest and has the biggest heart, his love never wavered from Liv. As for Olivia, the girl needs a slap! I mean come on, how many times are you going to walk away from a guy that you know you are crazy in love with. The constant back and fourth really got on my nerves. But, I was fist pumping the air when she finally decided to follow her heart and fly back to him. As for Edith, what a BITCH!! I so want to reach into my kindle and throttle her....and her mother. I mean what a load of crap her mother spewed at Liv. I'm hoping Liv sticks to her guns damn it and excepts that she IS in love with Grey and that they can be together. Oh Pamela getting releasing book 2 already.
Once again, Pamela Ann has done it!! What a wonderful book (even though the kindle was about to be thrown across the room a time or two)! Greyson has always loved Olivia and she loved him in the early years but something happened to change how they felt about each other. Backstabbing friends, threats, and lies makes it impossible for these 2 to get along. However, somebody finally comes to their senses and starts pursuing only to have their heart ripped out and stomped upon so many times. Seriously, I want to wrap my hands around their neck and squeeze the life out of them. Damn you Pamela Ann....my emotions are all over the place!! Just when I think I can handle where this is going, BAM, out of the blue it hits me and I am not happy!!! WAKE UP, SMELL THE ROSES SUNSHINE AND DO SOMETHING!! Ok, good now we are getting somewhere and then, BOOM, cliffhanger is here. Yep, its here. Now what??? I guess we will have to wait and see....GO GREYSON!
I didn't really fall in love with this novel. Pamela Ann writes great novels but this one was too back and forth for me. I understand that you aren't going to have it all together when you graduate high school, college, whatever but at the same time, normal people sit and reflect on things before they make a decision. Liv is rash, she doesn't think, just reacts which gets her in trouble. Edith is also a huge liar and manipulator and if Liv gives in, Grey will be lost forever. It's a bit shit show. I did enjoy the novel but I can't see it going anywhere good I'm afraid because of who Liv's character is. There is going to be a shit load of hurting before anyone comes back from this. Self sacrificing isn't the way to go either. You don't give away your chances in life, your loves in life. You make them, you take them, you control them. Edith is an evil bitch, let her die and rot in the ground.

Let me start by saying I've yet to find a book by Pamela Ann I didn't like. I think this has to be a favorite for me.
Olivia: An only child who has spent her life working towards certain goals. She spends most of the book on an up and down roller coaster ride of her own making. Though there were times I wanted to slap Olivia, I could understand her reasoning. While she wasn't my favorite character, I believe she was just as misunderstood as Greyson.
Greyson: I absolutely loved this character. The sexy misunderstood bad boy who felt too much. While he portrayed himself as a player there remained a softer side he hid from all.
My Favorite Line: "You've always been mine," he murmured, looking torn. "You just wouldn't allow it."
I really enjoyed this love story and all its heart wrenching struggles. Highly recommend to those who don't mind a not so perfect couple trying to find their way in life. This is book one of a two part series.
I would have given this like 4 stars but the fact that the protag was stupid until the end made me give it three stars. There was no explanation what really happened in third grade. This book turned out way beyond my expectations. I didn't expect Grey to be so sweet inside, i actually expected him to be a douche. I also didn't expect Olivia to be a virgin.. And it's always books like this where the guys like to dominate the girls and it's disgusting ._. Either way i'm going to read the second book because i'm curious about what's gonna happen.

So this book was enough to keep my interest enough to complete it. I was a llitle disappointed because the heroine was so annoying. The way she rejects Greyson time and time again got old fast. I was also a little confused because some of the situations were just totally unbelievable. I mean the main characters where high school seniors but the situations throughout the book just didn't match their age range. College kids could have worked more for this story. Overall the book was interesting enough that i made it through to the end. I considered buying the second installment but after further consideration I don't think I will continue the series. Olivia was too annoying and I don't feel I would make it through the next book and it would be a total waste of money. Interesting read though.
Okie with this book I'm truly conflicted on how I feel about it. In the beginning it was fantastic I was laughing at the things that were happening but by the middle that all changed.-
I'm not going to say much about it because you may feel completely different than I.
-
I will say that Greyson is such a sweet guy he's super adorable and is madly in love with Liv.
-
There also this girl named Edith she is just a complete b*tch who I don't think Grey should have given the time of day too .
-
I have read the second one an I think with reading this series it will be a one time read I don't think that I will be reading it again any the soon.
