Brad gets a raise and decides to treat his wife, Sue to a trip to a resort. Sue has been to the resort with her company before and can't wait to go back. While there Sue had surgery on her eyes, a surgery that other doctors could not be done. Brad is feeling that people are watching him at the resort but then maybe he is being paranoid but maybe not.

Ouch. This was painful. If you write a 32 page book, please do not wait until page 31 to get interesting. I read this Hi-Lo, more like Lo-Lo, book to my adult emerging readers. the first 29 pages were boring depictions of a luxury resort. I was embarrassed reading this to homeless families. At page 31 the big action was to reveal that the resort employees were aliens who were here to enslave humans. I did not use that word, I omitted it for civility. I was mortified reading this aloud.

I enjoyed the book especially the twist at the ending. Nevertheless, it's bit disturbing.

I think the words that you need to understand the book are harder than the lexile level of the book

It's not a very good ending, but my rating's 4 stars because the creative and the author language that he used to give suspense to the story.
