I bought my copy of this book and have been reading and recommending this book to everyone I come in contact with who is writing a nonfiction book. I have a highlighter attached to my copy because of so many entries that I must do when I get back to my computer. Stephanie's book has given me sooo many great ideas on how to market my book, that my wife will NOT let me read it after 8 p.m. If I do, I get some amazing ideas that won't let me go to sleep. For example, the author talks about starting up a speaker's network in her city. What a great idea! I couldn't sleep for many days on end with the excitement to bring speakers who are also authors, together for networking and to learn from each other. My city's group begins meeting in just a few weeks. I plan to buy copies of this book to give to all of my entrepreneural friends and family members! This has to be the best book on nonfiction book marketing!

I took Stephanie's book marketing course last year through the Nonfiction Authors Association and received the earlier version of this book with my registration. The latest version is full of practical, solid advice - along with a lot of worksheets - to help you to plan your book launch and market your book. The book also helps you determine which tasks are the best fit for your launch and marketing plan because you can't do everything. You'll also learn tips that you won't find anywhere else, such as how to apply for a Preassigned Control Number (PCN) through the Library of Congress before your book is released. Stephanie's advice on submitting proposals to podcasts and shows for my latest book launch has helped me land more appearances that I would have otherwise. She knows her stuff, and it really works!

Published in 2013. Due to the speed of things changing in the digital age, some of the resources are a bit dated. Aside from that, the book is an excellent comprehensive guide to book marketing. Particularly good for self-published first-time authors. I liked the interviews with other authors that were included at the end of each section.

Great resource

I enjoyed this book and took away a lot of ideas for my marketing strategy. I liked the author interviews. I only deducted a star because some of the tactics are slightly dated and I would have liked to see more evergreen advice. Overall worth the purchase

The Nonfiction Book Marketing Plan is an excellent book with lots of information that authors can use to market their books better. I read through the book and now plan to go back and use some of the sources to help me. I plan to use the book as a resource in the future.

Good thorough across-the-industry grounding. The downloads and checklists are helpful too. As an ebook debut author, I was hoping for more online marketing ideas, but appreciate the greater scope of this for all non-fiction authors.

Full of so much useful information on each page. This book opened up the business world beyond the book and is sure to be worn out in the months and years ahead.
