Working the police department of a college town means there is hardly ever a dull moment. But, aside from DUIs, trespassing and the occasional dispute between couples, there isn’t much else that goes on around town. At least, not until a criminal ring showed up and started robbing the nicer houses around campus. Turn out, we had a group of five or so guys from campus who were suspected.
And, because I was twenty-five, my sergeant decided that I was going to lead an undercover investigation and go on campus and get in with this group. My first target was a track running Sophomore named Tyler who was gay and seemed to have eyes for me. Tyler seemed harmless enough, but I knew I couldn’t trust him any more than he could trust me. I befriended him easily enough, but I knew Tyler was skeptical. I thought I’d done a decent enough job convincing Tyler that, not only was I a regular college student like him, but I also lied and told him that I was gay. I figured this would help win him over.
Before I even got a leg up in the investigation, Tyler seemed to have already blown my cover. I was going to have to convince Tyler that I was who I claimed I a gay college boy just like him. But Tyler had some stiff tests to dole out for me. I was going to have to do the most unthinkable thing with another guy, all to prove to Tyler that he could trust me. And the deeper I went, the more I lost myself in my new undercover gig. I was enjoying the work a lot more than I ever could have expected…
