I consider this an outstanding book if one wants to delve deeper into understanding the meaning of the parables. One the surface, they seem simple and may have a moral. But Seale really takes the reader to a much different, far more spiritual level. For example, in the parable of the Ten Virgins, Seale makes mention how the five represent the five senses, and the other five represent our five inner senses, what we use for our intuitions and deep understanding of life and ourselves.
I recommend this book highly. I underlined and highlighted a lot of sections and took notes. It's the type of book you can read over and again, and still find something new. Seale writes in a simple style and it helps when explaining difficult concepts. Well done!
