Deeds: Gods from Men

Rate this book
Protect Amanda. Stop Deeds.

This was Nick’s mission. Elegant in its simplicity. Protect his daughter Amanda, and stop the terrorist Deeds from succeeding in his plans, whatever they may be. Why couldn’t the CIA give him missions this simple?

But when ex-CIA agent Nick Teague fails at the first part of his mission and Deeds kills Amanda, Nick is left with one driving purpose: he will stop at nothing to bring Deeds to justice.

But all is not what he expects. Deeds holds an important secret, one that could change everything Nick knows about his life. Deeds knows what really happened to Amanda, and what it means for Nick's future, and his past.

Now Nick must discover the truth about Amanda and find a way to stop Deeds before he brings Nick's entire world crashing down.

Protect Amanda. Stop Deeds.

Sometimes described as a mixture between the television shows Fringe and 24, Deeds: Gods from Men tells a story where nothing is as it seems, and where everything can change with a single wish. Nick Teague has his work cut out for him if he ever hopes to stop the terrorist Deeds.

E.S. Wesley is an author and advocate for the safety and mental health of young people. A long-time mentor and counselor, Wesley has worked for years to protect, encourage, and empower young adults to navigate a life that rarely makes sense. He believes all people are just waiting for someone to relate to their stories, so he makes up stories in the hope that someone will read and find a home there.

His stories are often strange and twisty.

Wesley lives with his wife in Texas, where he’s always writing. Texas has a lot of things that he likes, but Shelly is the best of them. Second best is his son, who introduced him to his wife. Sometimes we do things out of order—that just makes life more interesting.

Review: Deeds: Gods from Men (Complete) was a very interesting read. E.S. Wesley was able to bring in several different aspects of different genres and blend them together nicely. Wesley did a great job at creating the story and delivering it to the reader without leaving any questions when the story ends. This book may have turned me into a Technothriller junky, and I'm hoping other books in this genre will be as good as this! I'd recommend this book to any thriller fan and especially technothriller fans.

Very interesting storyline! Starts off slow to set the story up but quickly becomes a page turner to keep up with "What happens next"! I really enjoyed the writers take on his thought process. Put this book on your shelf to read soon!

I didn't know what to expect starting out, but I'm a little glad about that because it twisted and turned so much that I wouldn't have known what to expect anyway. It's really fast-paced once you get past the first few chapters...like a big-budget movie. It would make a great film. Recommended.

Slow initial start, but man, once this picks up...it PICKS UP. The book is not at all what I originally thought it was going to be. Really nice ending...but just open enough to allow for more. Will there be a sequel? WILL THERE?

Fast paced, non stop. I didn't want to put it down. Wesley has left a definite impression of what an up and coming author should be.
