I like the story and character arcs. Just fun, silly, clean, good fun.

The book is amazing and is quite heavily impacted from concepts of Star Wars, for example the "Laser-Pros" as the lightsabers and "Hot-Shots" as blasters. In the book John Riley (who is a human student in the inter-stellar school Hyperspace High) is to participate in the "Space Spectacular" a amazing end of the year show where everyone gets a diffrent performance to put on for the rest of the school, including their parents. With John and Kaal (His best friend) in the Galactic Battle section along with four other students. But when the robots go into attack formation the whole school and the millions of parents are then put into grave danger, and the six students must fight for their lives... and millions of others onboard the Hyperspace High.
