Crea Reitan

She has a habit of creating secondary, and often time tertiary, characters that take over her stories. When she can't fall asleep at night, she thinks up new scenes for her characters to act out. This, of course, is how most of her meant-to-be-thrown-away characters tend to end up front and center - and utterly swoon-worthy! Don't ask her how many book boyfriends she has...
When not writing, Crea is an avid reader. Her TBR pile is several hundred books high (don't even look at her kindle wish list or the unread books on her tablet). Sometimes, she enjoys crafting; sometimes, exploring nature; sometimes, traveling. Mostly, she enjoys putting her characters on paper and breathing life into them. Oh, and sleeping. Dangerous Elysium
What is it with SK and her broken boys??? I haven’t met a main character by this author that hasn’t broken my heart and made me fall for them. Although this story was a novella, it packs a punch and comes with plenty of heat! I loved it from the first page and hated turning the last page and want more. I NEED MORE of these two. I can’t wait to see what SK puts out next because if she writes it, I will read it!!!

This was a good anthology book, a mixture of different stories based around alpha MCs and I enjoyed each story. My favourite was S.K. Graves entry Dangerous Elysium. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this, allowing glimpses into stories that were yet to be completed and super happy with the ones that ended nicely. A great introduction to authors I hadn't read before and additions from a few of my favourite authors as well. I really loved this anthology and appreciate the opportunity to have read this!

Il a perdu son attrait quand il a commencé à preciser les religions. Parler de religion ne me derange pas mais ça le fait quand on en denigre une.
Meme si j'etais pas croyante, je n'aurais pas aimé voir dénigrer une religion et la foi de quelqu'un.
Et à partir de là, toute l'intrigue est quasiment partie en fumée.
Et le culte de la mort est devenu beaucoup trop présente à la fin.

Il… nous… il l'a dit à sa mère il y a quelques nuits et ça s'est bien passé. Il avait tellement peur d'être ostracisé en raison de son orientation sexuelle et après l'avoir dit, je pense qu'il avait commencé à croire qu'il arrivait enfin à un endroit où il pourrait être à l'aise de vous le dire.
"Il m'a menti, Damon", a déclaré Vincent. «J'étais son meilleur ami et il venait juste…»
"Vincent..." murmura Brooke. Cela ressemblait à une légère réprimande et j’en étais reconnaissant.
"Oui, il t'a menti", dis-je en le raisonnant.
"Je sais que vous êtes blessés en ce moment, vous l'êtes tous les deux mais…" Je me levai et regardai Vincent. "En ce moment, Tyler est encore plus blessé."
Je suis allé le dépasser mais ses mots suivants m'ont figé sur place.
"Ce n'est pas à lui qu'on a menti." Il avait l'air froid mais je savais que ses paroles venaient d'un lieu de douleur.
J'ai baissé la tête, détestant qu'il ne comprenne toujours pas.
"Non. Non, ce n’est pas lui à qui on a menti. Je me suis retourné et j'ai regardé le côté de sa tête. "Tyler est celui dont son meilleur ami n'a même pas essayé de comprendre qu'il souffrait et qu'il avait juste besoin que tu l'acceptes et que tu l'aimes." J'ai ri et ça avait l'air amer. "J'attendais mieux de ta part, Vincent."

"Comment étais-je censé le dire aux gars?" » demanda-t-il d'un ton plus calme. « Ce sont des gars, tu sais ? Ce sont des plaisantins et des farceurs et ils… Comment étais-je censé leur dire – ainsi qu’à vous – et ensuite vous faire me regarder avec haine et dégoût ? Il secoua la tête. « J’adore être pompier Vincent mais je pourrais vivre sans. Dans seulement deux jours, je déambulerai dans les couloirs de l'un des collèges les plus prestigieux d'Angleterre, au milieu de la crème de la crème de la société, à leurs côtés pendant qu'ils me regarderont comme si j'étais une merde sur le sol. de leurs chaussures. Je ne suis rien pour eux, une affaire de charité. Et peu importe ce qu'Emma dit à propos de cette institution qui offre l'un des meilleurs programmes artistiques du pays, je serai le paria. Honnêtement, je m'en fous de ce que pensent la plupart d'entre eux. J'ai développé une peau épaisse au cours de ma vie et il n'y a qu'une seule opinion qui compte vraiment pour moi. Un que je saurai bientôt quand je le ferai mien.

Mes yeux restent fixés sur les personnages qui courent à travers le terrain, leurs cadres miniatures engagés dans des exercices. « Alors, lequel est le Beaufort Harrington III ? Celui qui a fait ressortir votre harceleur intérieur ? » Rogue s'enquiert d'un ton moqueur, gesticulant d'un geste de la main comme s'il s'agissait d'un valet de pied d'une histoire tordue de Cendrillon.
Un tourbillon de pensées tourbillonne dans mon esprit pendant que j'attends que Rogue ait fini. Ils savent déjà tout sur Beau, grâce à la tâche de collecte d'informations que je leur ai confiée.
« Vous savez qu'il n'est pas sur le terrain, n'est-ce pas ? Ils disent. Je hausse les épaules. Comme si je pouvais rater ça.
"Il va bientôt sortir, mais il a eu de la visite ce matin."

Je ne voulais pas faire ce voyage, étant donné que six connards de football sont ici et que je ne supporte pas ces connards. Surtout Kai et son copain connard Austin ; ces salauds ont fait de ma vie un enfer l’année dernière.
Tout a atteint son point culminant lorsqu'Austin a fait un commentaire sarcastique sur le fait qu'Ashton et moi étions ensemble et que si quelqu'un se rapprochait trop de nous, il deviendrait gay comme nous. C'était ridiculement enfantin, mais j'en avais finalement assez, alors je l'ai frappé, le frappant sur les fesses… ce qui l'a ensuite amené à me donner la raclée de ma vie avec l'aide de Kai. Ils m'ont cassé six putains de côtes et m'ont infligé une commotion cérébrale lorsque ma tête a rebondi sur le trottoir.
Mais cette année n’a pas vraiment été meilleure. Ashton a insisté sur le fait qu'il avait besoin d'espace.

I have read the author's book before and have loved how she writes the characters so beautifully and the pain they go through that you could feel your heart hurting for the characters, This was another amazing story by Crea and I loved it so much.
Zaiden is a partner with his friend at a real estate agency and has always dreamed of having a wife, kids and a white picket fence house, One day he crosses paths with Ellsworth who is a priest at a nearby cathedral but he has his past. Zaiden and El had amazing chemistry and even when they both were hurting they couldn't give up on each other.
Overall I loved this story, It had many sweet and spicy moments but the pain of the characters was written beautifully.

This story is about Liam & Ben. It's a jock/nerd trope, with a Bitch called Sierra ( hated her ), homophobic characters and mention/use of drugs ( not with the characters ).
Liam is a jock who is under his father's thumb and is dating Sierra ( gahh it was such a short story but I didn't Like her ) whereas Ben is a physics nerd and the jocks and the nerds are going on a college trip. Liam and Ben are made to share their tents and from then things start to escalate between them. I liked this short story and also how possessive Liam was. Ben and Liam had amazing chemistry and I loved they stood for each other. If the author plans to write a whole story about them, I'd like to read it but overall I liked this story.

This was my first time reading a story from the author and I knew it would not be my last time, I am looking forward to checking out more books from the author. This story is a workplace romance, with a little bit of Master/Pet vibes, and amazing side characters. Kendal ( Ken ) has recently started to work as a PA to the great Griffin Locke, he has fantasised about him before and had one encounter with him in a sex club where they were both anonymous to each other has Ken wanting more from Griffin, he starts to care for him and wants to be there for Griffin because he has his struggles. But was their encounter in the sex club anonymous for Griffin?
Overall this story was short, sweet and beautiful. There were many spicy moments and also some confrontations but in the end they both had each other.

I am been waiting to get my hands on this book since the author shared the teasers and damn this book was so much more. This is a short story that is a part of this Anthology and the author has said the full-length novel will be coming next year.
Caspian Wright has been bouncing around various foster homes and dealing with all the negative sides of it but he hits a jackpot when he meets Emma, the case worker who helps him and sends him to a private school. There he meets a boy who grabs his interest in a very different way, he wants to make him his. Beaufort Harrington III is a rugby player, who always does what his father commands him to do and his father is always disappointed in him.
This story was just so amazing, Cas and Beau's first meeting was so hot and I liked how Beau could be vulnerable with Cas without trying, Cas's possessive behaviour gah was a delight to read and how protective he was of Beau. I liked Beau's reactions to Cas and damn I was craving for more by the end of the story. I am looking forward to reading their full story.

This was another beautiful story in the anthology, which shows Tyler's struggles of coming out to his family, best friend and workplace. But during this journey, he has Damon beside him, patient and never giving up on him. Their journey was beautifully written by the author and I enjoyed this story.

This story kind of ends with a cliffhanger or so I think because there was no note from the author if it's going to end as a full story or not. I just felt it was a bit off to end it there so.. But if the author releases their full story I will love to read it.

I have read the author's book before and have loved how she writes the characters so beautifully and the pain they go through that you could feel your heart hurting for the characters, This was another amazing story by Crea and I loved it so much.
Zaiden is a partner with his friend at a real estate agency and has always dreamed of having a wife, kids and a white picket fence house, One day he crosses paths with Ellsworth who is a priest at a nearby cathedral but he has his past. Zaiden and El had amazing chemistry and even when they both were hurting they couldn't give up on each other.
Overall I loved this story, It had many sweet and spicy moments but the pain of the characters was written beautifully.

This story is about Liam & Ben. It's a jock/nerd trope, with a Bitch called Sierra ( hated her ), homophobic characters and mention/use of drugs ( not with the characters ).
Liam is a jock who is under his father's thumb and is dating Sierra ( gahh it was such a short story but I didn't Like her ) whereas Ben is a physics nerd and the jocks and the nerds are going on a college trip. Liam and Ben are made to share their tents and from then things start to escalate between them. I liked this short story and also how possessive Liam was. Ben and Liam had amazing chemistry and I loved they stood for each other. If the author plans to write a whole story about them, I'd like to read it but overall I liked this story.

While it’s difficult to enjoy a ‘complete’ story in an anthology, a couple of them in here managed to come pretty darn close.

This one was emotional, angsty, drama filled and had me aching for Caspian and Beaufort to hopefully make it work.
This is a wonderful Novella and I absolutely love it. It was great to see mental health matters portrayed in stories in a positive manner. SK Graves managed to pack so much emotion into this short story. I really can’t wait to see more of them.
This Novella is a dark college romance. Stalking and obsessive thoughts and actions! It is an MM Romance, it is only a taste of them but is will leave you wanting to know what happens between them. I truly felt for both MMC, they are worlds apart and have a hard time, but are constantly drawn together.

I devoured this entire thing. Each one was fabulous. Although, I read it because of S.K. Graves' Dangerous Elysium. Which sucked you in like always. SK has a way with words on another level. Cas and Beau, all I can say is I need the whole story.
I also want to give the others some love. I have definitely found some new authors to explore.
Get this anthology. It won't disappoint.

You know when you start a book and you can tell from just that first page that the book is going to be soooo good, well this is what this was!
I loved it from the first page and by the time I got to the end I with in love with both Caspian and Beaufort… both men special in there own way!
I loved Caspian cause he made me feel like he was real, but in the way of a magical man.. and I love it! He had charm and he knew what he wanted.. and he wanted Beaufort..
Beaufort I wanted to reach into the page and hug him so tight..
the story was stunning, sexy and heartwarming! Could have read more!!

Celui qui a fait ressortir votre harceleur intérieur ? » Rogue s'enquiert d'un ton moqueur, gesticulant d'un geste de la main comme s'il s'agissait d'un valet de pied d'une histoire tordue de Cendrillon.
Un tourbillon de pensées tourbillonne dans mon esprit pendant que j'attends que Rogue ait fini. Ils savent déjà tout sur Beau, grâce à la tâche de collecte d'informations que je leur ai confiée.
« Vous savez qu'il n'est pas sur le terrain, n'est-ce pas ? Ils disent. Je hausse les épaules. Comme si je pouvais rater ça.
"Il va bientôt sortir, mais il a eu de la visite ce matin."

Je ne voulais pas faire ce voyage, étant donné que six connards de football sont ici et que je ne supporte pas ces connards. Surtout Kai et son copain connard Austin ; ces salauds ont fait de ma vie un enfer l’année dernière.
Tout a atteint son point culminant lorsqu'Austin a fait un commentaire sarcastique sur le fait qu'Ashton et moi étions ensemble et que si quelqu'un se rapprochait trop de nous, il deviendrait gay comme nous. C'était ridiculement enfantin, mais j'en avais finalement assez, alors je l'ai frappé, le frappant sur les fesses… ce qui l'a ensuite amené à me donner la raclée de ma vie avec l'aide de Kai. Ils m'ont cassé six putains de côtes et m'ont infligé une commotion cérébrale lorsque ma tête a rebondi sur le trottoir.
Mais cette année n’a pas vraiment été meilleure. Ashton a insisté sur le fait qu'il avait besoin d'espace.

Il… nous… il l'a dit à sa mère il y a quelques nuits et ça s'est bien passé. Il avait tellement peur d'être ostracisé en raison de son orientation sexuelle et après l'avoir dit, je pense qu'il avait commencé à croire qu'il arrivait enfin à un endroit où il pourrait être à l'aise de vous le dire.
"Il m'a menti, Damon", a déclaré Vincent. «J'étais son meilleur ami et il venait juste…»
"Vincent..." murmura Brooke. Cela ressemblait à une légère réprimande et j’en étais reconnaissant.
"Oui, il t'a menti", dis-je en le raisonnant.
"Je sais que vous êtes blessés en ce moment, vous l'êtes tous les deux mais…" Je me levai et regardai Vincent. "En ce moment, Tyler est encore plus blessé."
Je suis allé le dépasser mais ses mots suivants m'ont figé sur place.
"Ce n'est pas à lui qu'on a menti." Il avait l'air froid mais je savais que ses paroles venaient d'un lieu de douleur.
J'ai baissé la tête, détestant qu'il ne comprenne toujours pas.
"Non. Non, ce n’est pas lui à qui on a menti. Je me suis retourné et j'ai regardé le côté de sa tête. "Tyler est celui dont son meilleur ami n'a même pas essayé de comprendre qu'il souffrait et qu'il avait juste besoin que tu l'acceptes et que tu l'aimes." J'ai ri et ça avait l'air amer. "J'attendais mieux de ta part, Vincent."

6 short stories from a group of amazing authors that give you a brief taste of a various range of MM stories? I will forever be here for this. Just like any other anthology, this one gives you an introduction into the various world of these characters and leaves you wanting more- so much so that it will be difficult to wait to see all of the HEA's that these characters can get!
My favorite story had to be Dangerous Elysium by SK Graves. Cas and Beau are both so broken in so many different ways- Cas is just trying to beat the foster system he is stuck in and Beau is trying to survive his politically inclined, old money family. There is a bit of a stalkerish element in this story in the sense that as we are introduced to our characters, Cas has been watching Beau from afar. There is also some really good instant chemistry between these two characters and one meeting in particular left me wondering if the interaction was a fever dream in one of our character's minds or if it really happened in real life. This short introduction was the perfect set up for the longer version of their story later this year which I hope will be a continuation of their discovery of their feelings for one another and will give them the HEA they both so desperately deserve with hopefully no heartache in on their way there.

There are trigger warnings throughout this book, so I’d read the warnings before grabbing the book.
There is also taboo subjects (but I personally didn’t see them!)
I do love an anthology, it gives you a chance to read new authors. I grabbed it as it has my favourite author in it (Crea Reitan) her book “I have sinned” was definitely my favourite in the anthology.
Some were a good size novella, one was a little short, but it got its message across.
It’s definitely made me want to look at the rest of the authors to see their writing.
Do a quick review of each book …..

It’s about a priest falling in love, he’s fighting his feelings and the church. They aren’t big on homosexual relationships.
Both Zaiden and Ellsworth were likeable and I found myself hoping they would be together. But it’s not an easy journey. And there is a few heartbreaking moments!
It’s almost an instalove (but it’s a novella, so it’s going to be quick 😜)

This novella is based in a college, and the MC, hasn’t come out yet (in fact he has a girlfriend!)
I liked this one as well, although again a short story it did feel a little rushed! But once the MC decided he was going to love who he wanted to, there was no stopping him 😆 I’d love to see a series with the rest of the friends who supported both the main characters as they all seemed like a pretty great butch of characters.

It basically told a story about how a couple went about telling family and work they were together. Simple idea, but a whole barrel of emotions.

I’d definitely says it’s more of a sweet romance feel to this office romance.
There is a little revenge and a twist. Great characters and a storyline that flows really well. Although it did seem a little rushed (like the author forgot it was a novella! 🤷🏻♀️)

tl;dr after flipping through the whole thing: Super disappointed. Definitely not for me.
This whole anthology might really work for some people, and of course I respect the authors' efforts in crafting their stories, but there's a certain feel to m/f romance, and especially the alpha male, possessive/dark end of the m/f romance spectrum, that feels completely off in the m/m genre, at least to me. I was initially excited to find some new-to-me authors, as I don't recognize a single one of the contributors here, but ALL of these stories read like they were written by m/f authors who simply swapped genders and threw in a few stereotypes to write an "m/m" story. None felt authentic to the m/m genre - or at least to what I personally love about it - and none of them worked for me AT ALL.
(And here's the little review intro I wrote when I was still all starry-eyed and hopeful that I'd find something good here...)
This anthology came up as a Kindle recommendation, and since I do like possessive alphaholes if they're done right, I snagged it despite being a little leery about not recognizing a single author name. So... here we go!

2 STARS. Usually, if I don't like a story I'll just DNF. And honestly, I probably should have known to skip this one - despite MY MAJOR PET PEEVE OF THERE BEING NO INDIVIDUAL BLURB/STORY DESCRIPTIONS WITHIN THE ANTHOLOGY - based on the author's note and title alone, because religion is just not my thing. Angst about religion is doubly not my thing. And homophobia, especially when internalized and/or the plot-driving type of angst in a gay romance, is epically not my thing.
tl;dr There may be readers who like this one, but I didn't care for it at all. "It's not you; it's me."
Here's what I didn't like: The writing style. Very tell-not-show. Also, I came to read actual romance, but closed my Kindle after this one wondering if I should just skip the whole anthology since none of the sweetness I read the romance genre for was really present here.
Well, tbf, maybe a smidge from Zaiden, but his adoration of Ellsworth felt so random and one-dimensional, not to mention like... who even was Zaiden?
Which brings me to the next thing I didn't like: the story structure, or maybe lack of storycraft? Anyway, the author sort of built up a personality and setting and friend group for Zaiden in the beginning of the story that simply never went anywhere and was almost entirely unnecessary for the plot. So, that felt weird/distracting/annoying.
And another thing I didn't care for? Ellsworth, full stop. Partly because of the whole reason I should have skipped this one, with the gay-angst/sinner trope driving the plot. Honestly, any lovely "this is the romance I came for" feelings that Zaiden's adoration of/obsession with him might have stirred up for me were completely overshadowed by not only Ellsworth's hot/cold sinner angst, but OMFG (!!!) also by the totally non-sensical explanation for it that came out toward the end of the story. 🙄 So maybe that's just back to lack of a tight plot? Or like... one that even makes sense? Because honestly, that was some bullshit convoluted plot-logic that got sprung out of nowhere once Ellsworth finally came clean about the source of his angst, and quite frankly, that bullshit explanation totally made me lose any respect or empathy for these two. Ellsworth, because it was just stupid for stupidity's sake that hurt Zaiden along the way (and if there's anything that says "this isn't the romance I came for because one MC won't put the other MC first in his heart, it's gotta be

1 STAR. I actually did read this one, but ugh, it was so bad. SO much of an m/f vibe to it, and there was barely even a story here! It cuts off abruptly as soon as Maxim declares his interest & intent to Finn... whose response is totally out of character to how he was represented up to this point. Age gap, power differential, "saving" a boy in a rough situation... this had so many elements which, when done right, 100% do it for me. But this? Wow. This is everything I love, done absolutely wrong. At least for my taste. So disappointing. 😕

But as with all of these stories, the vibe was totally off for me, and I ended up feeling a bit squigged out over the way Caspian's lust for apparently demisexual Beau was portrayed. Do I love a possessive character (Caspian)? Yes. Do I love to read about boys who are sort of beat down but then saved or redeemed or shown their strength? Also yes, and this could have been Beau (although since I gave up on this one, I have no idea how it actually played out). This was just... ugh. Definitely not for me.

None felt authentic to the m/m genre - or at least to what I personally love about it - and none of them worked for me AT ALL.
(And here's the little review intro I wrote when I was still all starry-eyed and hopeful that I'd find something good here...)
This anthology came up as a Kindle recommendation, and since I do like possessive alphaholes if they're done right, I snagged it despite being a little leery about not recognizing a single author name. So... here we go!
👎 FOR I HAVE SINNED by Crea Reitan ⭐⭐
2 STARS. Usually, if I don't like a story I'll just DNF. And honestly, I probably should have known to skip this one - despite MY MAJOR PET PEEVE OF THERE BEING NO INDIVIDUAL BLURB/STORY DESCRIPTIONS WITHIN THE ANTHOLOGY - based on the author's note and title alone, because religion is just not my thing. Angst about religion is doubly not my thing. And homophobia, especially when internalized and/or the plot-driving type of angst in a gay romance, is epically not my thing.
tl;dr There may be readers who like this one, but I didn't care for it at all. "It's not you; it's me."
Here's what I didn't like: The writing style. Very tell-not-show. Also, I came to read actual romance, but closed my Kindle after this one wondering if I should just skip the whole anthology since none of the sweetness I read the romance genre for was really present here.
Well, tbf, maybe a smidge from Zaiden, but his adoration of Ellsworth felt so random and one-dimensional, not to mention like... who even was Zaiden?
Which brings me to the next thing I didn't like: the story structure, or maybe lack of storycraft? Anyway, the author sort of built up a personality and setting and friend group for Zaiden in the beginning of the story that simply never went anywhere and was almost entirely unnecessary for the plot. So, that felt weird/distracting/annoying.
And another thing I didn't care for? Ellsworth, full stop. Partly because of the whole reason I should have skipped this one, with the gay-angst/sinner trope driving the plot. Honestly, any lovely "this is the romance I came for" feelings that Zaiden's adoration of/obsession with him might have stirred up for me were completely overshadowed by not only Ellsworth's hot/cold sinner angst, but OMFG (!!!) also by the totally non-sensical explanation for it that came out toward the end of the story. 🙄 So maybe that's just back to lack of a tight plot? Or like... one that even makes sense? Because honestly, that was some bullshit convoluted plot-logic that got sprung out of nowhere once Ellsworth finally came clean about the source of his angst, and quite frankly, that bullshit explanation totally made me lose any respect or empathy for these two. Ellsworth, because it was just stupid for stupidity's sake that hurt Zaiden along the way (and if there's anything that says "this isn't the romance I came for because one MC won't put the other MC first in his heart, it's gotta be

Annnnyway. Was it entirely awful? I mean, I didn't DNF. Some of the sex and UST was kind of hot (although againnnnnnnn WTF? But ultimately, I feel like this story was short enough to power through, but also a bit like a trainwreck I just kept watching (reading) because it was horrifying me so much. 🤷♀️
Note to my future self for when I check back on this review to see what I thought, in case another of this author's books comes up in my recs: Nope. Not for me.

1 STAR. I actually did read this one, but ugh, it was so bad. SO much of an m/f vibe to it, and there was barely even a story here! It cuts off abruptly as soon as Maxim declares his interest & intent to Finn... whose response is totally out of character to how he was represented up to this point. Age gap, power differential, "saving" a boy in a rough situation... this had so many elements which, when done right, 100% do it for me. But this? Wow. This is everything I love, done absolutely wrong. At least for my taste. So disappointing. 😕
👎 DANGEROUS ELYSIUM by S.K. Graves ---
DNF/No rating. TBH the quality of the writing was the best of the anthology, making me feel like this author has a lot more experience than the rest (but who knows!). But as with all of these stories, the vibe was totally off for me, and I ended up feeling a bit squigged out over the way Caspian's lust for apparently demisexual Beau was portrayed. Do I love a possessive character (Caspian)? Yes. Do I love to read about boys who are sort of beat down but then saved or redeemed or shown their strength? Also yes, and this could have been Beau (although since I gave up on this one, I have no idea how it actually played out). This was just... ugh. Definitely not for me.

Dangerous Elysium review..
I absolutely adore s.k graves books and her broken guys. Every book I've read by her I fall more and more in love with these boys. They all have a special place in my heart. Her books are always so raw and real and make you go through so much, like your living their pain with them that it's part off you and it's consumes you. It makes you feel open, raw and vulnerable. I couldn't put it down once I started. It may be short and steamy but it's filled with so much emotions, angst, drama, abuse ,love, spice and more.
Cas has not had a great life, been throwing from foster home to foster home. The life he was dealt with was a shitty hand. His case worker gets him into to a good school and it's there he meets a boy that sends his world in to a tail spin. And he knows right away that this boy is his. And will do anything to make it so. Even if he ends up being a little stalkerish and obsessive.
Beau is at this great school and there he is the captain off the rugby team. His family are well known and come from money. But beau's life isn't all unicorns and rainbows. His father is an evil man and he has to fall in line and do what ever his father says even if he doesn't want too. How can you lay your hands on your own flesh and blood.
Beau and cas have a very strong connection after a surprising encounter at the showers. They can't stop thinking about each other. Their chemistry is off the charts. Something happens to our sweet boy beau and cas looks after him and their relationship grows more and more. So much happens in this book but so much is left unwritten and unsaid.
I really enjoyed reading the start to their story and im so glad the author is bringing out more to it, as I need to know more about them. I really wanted to kick the shit out of beau dad and the coach, they both are fucking evil motherfuckers. My heart really hurt for our sweet boys. I highly recommend reading their story.

For I Have Sinned by Crea Reitan
Wow this was so beautiful a read. Ellsworth was a heartbreaking soul I felt his pain through the pages and was just wishing that I could live in a book so I could be there to give him a hug. Love Zaiden he was a sunshine given Ellsworth all the love and support that he needed. I just can’t so how much I love reading their story.
When Opposites Collide By Kady Monroe
This was way to fast of a read but it was very interesting too. I hope will see more of Liam and Ben a in a more longer version of a story.

Wow this one was an amazing read love the chemistry Griffin and Kendal have even as they started in hiding their relationship they had a beautiful one and at the end they found what was more important then anything else and it that it was their happiness.

Story 1 - 4 stars. I would have possibly avoided this story as a separate book because of potential judgemental church types, but it was quite lovely and the characters were clearly full of real feelings.
Story 2 - 3 stars. Writing was good but too many toxic characters for my taste. I enjoy toxic in the right setting but this doesn't have enough balance for me.
Story 3 - 3 stars. More focus on intimate scenes than plot, but quite enjoyable. Amusing little plot twist at the end
Story 4 - 4 stars. Two excellent broken characters and good potential but the ending felt a bit like a cliffhanger. I would love this to become a full book.
Story 5 - 4 stars. This felt a bit like two separate stories - the first everything around Tyler's worries about coming out and his relationship with others, and the second when the fire nearly killed him. Good characters and Damon especially was lovely.
Story 6 - 4 stars. Griffin was an amazingly strong and determined character and really deserved a happy ending.
Total anthology - a nice group of stories which didn't detract from each other by authors who were mostly unknown to me.

I really enjoyed this anthology. Hands down, my favorite is For I Have Sinned. This book is phenomenal!
The characters - bi-awakening Zaiden, who doesn't even know what he's searching for finds his love (obsession? immediately soulmate? other half?) in flower loving local priest Ellsworth. The heat? Immediate. The way that the story unfolds? Impeccable. By the time that you figure out what Ellsworth struggles with, and you've seen the two of them pine for each other, you can't pull yourself away.

This is a hefty tome of short stories that really aren’t that short. Some of them are more like novellas I would say, so be prepared to get stuck in. I bought the paperback, and I love its substance in my hands. What can I say, I’m old-school! I really had no idea what to expect from these stories, but I can say that they are sexy, smutty and super-hot. A couple of them were not quite up to a standard I would have liked, but most of them were brilliant. I especially enjoyed “For I have Sinned” by Crea Reitan and “My Strength, My Weakness” by Kelly Lord.
This anthology was nice because it offered stories about realistic people living everyday lives and finding romance as they went along. There is workplace romance, small town romance, and student romance, all with natural progressions and featuring gay and queer characters. It is not designed to make a statement; it is merely a gay romance anthology, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. 5 stars!

This is a heartwarming story, Tyler is afraid of being judged by his family and fellow fire fighters. Damon is awesome, he agrees to do what Tyler wants even though he would shout it from the rooftops.

I am absolutely in love with Cas and Beau. I loved their dynamic and watching their relationship grow and develop.
They truly are perfect for each other even though they are so different and come from completely separate worlds.
Cas is dominating but cares for Beau in such a way that has me melting inside and I want to see more of it. He also has a wicked mouth, it’s perfect and leads to some excellent spicy scenes.
SK Graves managed to pack so much emotion into this short story. I really can’t wait to see more of them.

I loved Shatter Me: An MM Anthology. This was a great set of stories. There is a total of six stories within this book. I think my favorites were “When Opposites Collide”, “My Strength, My Weakness” and “Unbreakable”. I really enjoyed all of the stories although I wish “Shatter Me” had more, it left me wanting so much more. I would definitely recommend this book.

It's only a taste of them. I really need to know what happens between Cas and Beau. I truly felt for them both. They are a world apart, and both have had a very hard time, but they are drawn together like magnets. Can it work out for them? Can they be together? I need to know! This is an amazing collection of stories featuring possessive alpha males!
Every story was amazing and gripped me from the beginning with a few new authors thrown in for me I loved every page!
They weren’t all a specific genre so it was a little crazy jumping from college, to parties, to a story about a priest (yes please) but I loved getting more stories from the authors I loved and new authors for me to read!
