Scams and Unlawful Entry
4.5 stars - This takes place on Bearskin Mountain in the Greene Mountains. I think they meant to name it Bare Skin Mounting because that certainly happens. LOL! I'm laughing at my ridiculous joke, but it is HOT! 🔥 🥵 🔥
Vivian and Duncan Dove may seem like an unlikely combination, but they work. They're opposites that fit together in some mysterious way, and I love it! They just might be my favorite in the series. It's a tough call.
For the record, I absolutely LOVE the epilogues! It was perfect for this OTT, quick read.

A meet cute for these two and he is beyond OTT and possessive (but all the men in this series are).
I liked how he booked the rooms so she would be forced to stay with him.
Obviously, this is a novella and things happen relatively FAST.
We do get a nice look into their future (25 years later).

So our heroine 24 year old Vivian, a successful fast fashion, and CEO of her own company, books a cabin for a week long vacation, she wants to see the mountains and this city girl dreams of it. She is dropped off at this derelict cabin so she walks for an hour until she finds this gorgeous cabin, the one advertised! She is giddy with relief and delight and she sprints there, taking her clothes off for a much needed shower.
Duncan, our 38 year old, alpha, loner, mountain man loving his peace and quiet and sees two Louis Vuitton suitcases in the driveway. Hmmm, odd. He put them in his truck and drives down to his home sweet home where he finds small shoes strewn on the floor and clothes and....panties. Hmmm, a woman is showering in his cabin! He wants her out, so he sits frowning, arms crossed, waiting for her to finish. She walks out humming with a towel wrapped around her head, and she is naked. His world changes, he loses balance, even though he is sat down, and he cannot help but stare at her perfection. Looking down at his boner he knows that it is made for her.
Vivian notices a man is here and screams, oddly tries to cover herself and throws a plate at him. It does not phase him, Duncan is already gone for his Vivian, mind, body, heart, soul, everything is hers. She just doesn't know it yet. You want to see a man in love, look at Duncan with hearts dancing around his head, with a grin on his face, while Vivian yells at him for being in her cabin! LOL! This is just the beginning.
Oh, and we see the twins working front desk at the lodge again, they are just as funny and annoying as always.
There is a couple things that bothers me a little. One is that neither one says, "I love you" to the other. I know in their inner monologue they are in love, but it would be nice if they said it to each other. The same goes for other books in the same series. That and the fact that Duncan never telling Vivian that he has had no one until her. That made me lower the star score from a 5 to a 4. It just bothers me. I still enjoyed it though!

Цей стовбур був занадто велекий, але великі блакитні очі, як у Бембі, і ця мокра кицька, з якої капало, вмовила встромитися цьому дуже твердому прутню в кицькові губи.
Отже, історія без якогось великого сюжету, де вони просто шаленіють один від одного, кохають один одного, в перший же день, і гірський чоловік одразу вирішує, що хоче множиться від вигляду дівчини, яку бачить перший раз.
Але хто хоче пофантазувати про гірсього чоловіка, в якого більший члеn, ніж гора Говерла, то велкам!

WOW - OTT has done it again. A city girl longs to escape to the mountains and when she does she finds more than she was looking for. Great read, wonderful characters and lots of heat!!!!! You can't go wrong with a OTT book.

Duncan Dove is a reclusive bearded tattooed mountain man. He built the cabin after he received an inheritance from his parents.
She books a cabin online but when her Uber driver gets to the address it is a dilapidated cabin. He leaves her there to get back to his regular job. She decides to take her luggage and walk down the mountain to find someplace to stay. She finds the cabin from the rental as and rushed inside to take a hit shower. Duncan returns home only to find a woman in his shower. He goes into the kitchen to wait for her and she comes out without a stitch on. He is instantly enraptured by her. He offers to take her to the Greene Mountain Lodge, but they have no vacancies. She accepts his offer to stay with him for the week. He introduces her to all kinds of activities in nature. When it is time for her to go home he begs her to stay and make a future with him. She agrees and they get their HEA.

I can't get enough of the Greene Mountain Boys series. I hope Olivia keeps writing them because I am loving this town and all the characters. These guys are chefs kiss; they are hot, possessive mountain men that just want to protect and br33d their women.

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.

Vivian has been conned, the mountain retreat cabin in the online listing is nothing like the run down shack the driver drops her off at. She’s definitely a glass half full kind of girl, she ventures inside trying to make the best of things when she spies little beady eyes staring back at her. She runs out and grabs her LV luggage and high tails it down the mountain. She soon comes upon the cabin pictured in the rental site, she rushes to it and finds the door unlocked. First thing first, she needs a shower after her long hike.
Duncan is surprised to see luggage laying in his driveway, he puts it in his truck and continues on to his house. Imagine his surprise when he sees women’s shoes and clothes littering his floor, and water running in his bathroom. He waits for the intruder in his kitchen, when Vivian strolls out naked they are both shocked. He has never seen a more beautiful woman, her curves are sinful and her face is that of an angel. He is entranced. She’s embarrassed especially when she finds out she’s been scammed.
She asks him to take her to the lodge the driver spoke about, he stalks and secretly calls the lodge and books all the available room so she can’t stay there. They get to the lodge and the funny obnoxious twins are at the check in desk and tell her sorry not sorry but no rooms available.
Duncan tells her she can stay with him, after thinking about it she agrees. She’s a virgin but the way he is making her feel, she thinks she will not be one by the end if the week.
Duncan treats her to the full mountain experience, kayaking, hiking, swimming in the river. She is loving it. She’s from New York and being in the mountains has changed her, she loves it here and is falling for her mountain man. They exchange life stories and soon get closer. One evening she gives him a sexy blow job, the next day it’s on. Lots of hot sexy times for them. He takes her for the first time on a boulder by the river. Sounds uncomfortable but sexy.
As the week comes to an end he convinces her to stay, she agrees. Epilogue two years later with a one year old baby boy and twenty five years later with four kids. She sold her fashion line and now makes clothing that is more sustainable and for everyday wear. He confesses that the night they met he booked all the available rooms at the lodge so she would be forced to stay with him.
What I didn’t like, Duncan tracks down the guy who conned her, he goes to his trailer and roughs him up and gets her money back and tells him next time he con’s someone not to use his real name. Vivian has been conned, the mountain retreat cabin in the online listing is nothing like the run down shack the driver drops her off at. She’s definitely a glass half full kind of girl, she ventures inside trying to make the best of things when she spies little beady eyes staring back at her. She runs out and grabs her LV luggage and high tails it down the mountain. She soon comes upon the cabin pictured in the rental site, she rushes to it and finds the door unlocked. First thing first, she needs a shower after her long hike.
Duncan is surprised to see luggage laying in his driveway, he puts it in his truck and continues on to his house. Imagine his surprise when he sees women’s shoes and clothes littering his floor, and water running in his bathroom. He waits for the intruder in his kitchen, when Vivian strolls out naked they are both shocked. He has never seen a more beautiful woman, her curves are sinful and her face is that of an angel. He is entranced. She’s embarrassed especially when she finds out she’s been scammed.
She asks him to take her to the lodge the driver spoke about, he stalks and secretly calls the lodge and books all the available room so she can’t stay there. They get to the lodge and the funny obnoxious twins are at the check in desk and tell her sorry not sorry but no rooms available.
Duncan tells her she can stay with him, after thinking about it she agrees. She’s a virgin but the way he is making her feel, she thinks she will not be one by the end if the week.
Duncan treats her to the full mountain experience, kayaking, hiking, swimming in the river. She is loving it. She’s from New York and being in the mountains has changed her, she loves it here and is falling for her mountain man. They exchange life stories and soon get closer. One evening she gives him a sexy blow job, the next day it’s on. Lots of hot sexy times for them. He takes her for the first time on a boulder by the river. Sounds uncomfortable but sexy.
As the week comes to an end he convinces her to stay, she agrees. Epilogue two years later with a one year old baby boy and twenty five years later with four kids. She sold her fashion line and now makes clothing that is more sustainable and for everyday wear. He confesses that the night they met he booked all the available rooms at the lodge so she would be forced to stay with him.
What I didn’t like, Duncan tracks down the guy who conned her, he goes to his trailer and roughs him up and gets her money back and tells him next time he con’s someone not to use his real name. What? How about calling the cops on this lowlife, he tells Duncan his source of income is conning people. So why let him go so he can hurt other people. Let the police handle him. I've read the first 3 books in this series. I decided I would buy one more after #3 because I often do things that make no sense like continue a series I have a lot of problems with. I opted out of books 4 and 5 because I didn't think I would enjoy the characters. This one sounded ok so I decided to get it. I did end up liking Vivian and Duncan. I liked them a lot more than Lauren and Owen or Ashley and Dylan. They are probably tied with Tyler and Carrie.
However the author definitely has a formula and after 4 very similar books I know she uses it every time. My issues with the previous books remain the same, insanely horny virgin female lead who loves giving blow jobs, male lead who has a huge cock and a breeding kink and in my opinion poorly written sex scenes.
There are many other similarities in these books the ones listed are just the ones I don't care for and will prevent me from reading other books in this series. I might out of curiosity check out another series by this author if she has one.

City girl goes on a mountain retreat,gets scammed with fake pictures and finds the love of her life.
Honestly,this felt like a smuttier version of a rom-com and I owned it.
Vivian and Duncan feels like two weirdos you meet and they say they got married in like 18 days. But it works for them.
Duncan even returns the money that Vivian lost to that scammer in the beginning.

I liked it just fine. I just didn't feel the chemistry between them. yes lots of steamy sexy times, and she gives her vcard, but I didn't feel this deep chemistry that I love for the instalove books. she is a wealthy NY city girl going on a long wished for vacay to the mountains against her snooty parents wishes...alone. Gets to the airbnb and she has been scammed. Then after walking in the woodsy mountains she finds the house she's meant to be at, or so she thinks. Goes inside, gets naked and showers. But it belongs to a mountain man who falls in love instantly with her and will do anything to make her fall for him too and stay forever.
I must say I am so obsessed with these book covers. I could just stare at all of them and enjoy my own fantasies about them. Just gorgeous!

Oh my this book was Hot Hot Hot. The first meet was so funny I could not ever imagine that happening, but they both handled it so well.
Duncan knew right from first sight that Vivian is the woman for him, they are meant to be together. But when people say opposites attract, in this book it is true.
Vivian noticed right away how tall, handsome and strong Duncan is, but was a little surprised with how comfortable she felt with him right away.
This book was great , and I truly love anything that Olivia T Turner writes.
Duncan knew right from first sight that Vivian is the woman for him, they are meant to be together. But when people say opposites attract, in this book it is true.
Vivian noticed right away how tall, handsome and strong Duncan is, but was a little surprised with how comfortable she felt with him right away.
This book was great , and I truly love anything that Olivia T Turner writes.

Another cute & sweet story from Olivia!
All of Olivia's books are always easy, good-feeling stories.
I love that she gives good epilogues that rounds out the story!
I'd love to see how she'd play with PNR or Omegaverse. Considering she has the possessive cinnamon roll men down.....it wouldn't take much for her to fully dive in.
Especially RH stories. I'd buy them all lol
While I do enjoy Olivia's books, I normally only read PNR. So when I have an urge to read non PNR, I look through her books.

Enjoyed this love story a lot!
Duncan lives alone on the mountain. He has a very tragic life growing up and enjoys the solitude. Vivian is a NYC girl, longing for the mountains. Her parents are kind of helicopter parents. She books a week stay in the mountains where Duncan lives. You can imagine what happens to her. It's really a good story and love the descriptions of the area. After reading each individual characters stories you end up with a complete view of the area (in your mind). Written by Cindy :)
