Pink Pussycat Enterprises
Bacarri Aguilard takes "having his way" to another level. His multimillion dollar nude magazine empire is the reason for that. He can have anything he wants, and that includes women. He's satisfied with his polygamous relationship with his three girlfriends until he meets a woman by the name of Divine Jones who changes that. Divine wasn't looking for any entanglements. Her only motive is to make some fast cash to take provide for her daughter after being abandoned by her baby daddy. She gets more than what she reckons for when she enters the world of Pink Pussycat Enterprises.

4.5 ⭐️ I had a good time reading this.
Baccari know he wrong for pursuing Divine knowing he already has 3 girlfriends. Wth! Lol Divine said she wanted no parts of that circus. I loved him stepping up and loving on Divine daughter Dolce 🥰🫶🏽
Running to book 2! At the end of book 1 Divine had enough and told that Baccari to go touch grass lmaooooo his girlfriends got his head all F’d up!

Book 2 please
I wasn’t sure what I was going to get when I first started reading this because Bacarri had a whole lot going on in his home life with his 3 girlfriends but this was such a good read. Divine was just my type of FMC. She met Bacarri exactly where he was at and returned all the energy he gave. Book 2 me please!

good storyline
I’m getting tired of these sequel books. Black female urban romance authors spacing out their installments reduces the enjoyment and connection a reader has with the characters. CION and other authors in their genre can have book 2 already completed when they release book 1 and release them together just like Netflix. This waiting 6 months for book 2 seems like lazy writing.

yup I’m stuck
I enjoyed the destruction of ploy relationships. Often time when authors wrote about the poly life it’s to glamorize it but this author was able to capture real life possible emotions.

Ugh!
I played myself and walked right into a cliffhanger trap.
Overall for me the story was mid. Well, the writing, the story would’ve been better if it was not being “told” to me. I really appreciate feeling like I’m immersed in the story. So that POV is very important.
I loved how Divine was Ray Charles to the BS for the most part. Although reading this character had me thinking of one of the Tubi actresses. Poor acting skills, but body. Knowwhatimean?!
Actually that’s what this reminded me of. A Tubi movie.
Bacarai or whatever his name was…🗣️SIR!
He let those 3 broads gas his head up and think someone wants to play 4th member to his band. No thank you! Glad she knew her worth.
Now all tho this was mid. I want to find out what happens next. How long do I have to wait?!

Divine finally got that man straight at the end because he was playing in her face about when she was hanging out with Stasi because boy you got three girlfriends. Plus those women only really with her because of the lifestyle. I feel like they have live for him and just want anything he gives them. I just know in the next book she is going to go back but I hope Divine give him hell and boss all the way up like she has been doing lol.. overall good read and I was entertained.

I LOVED this story, I gave it 3 stars because the writing was not good, lots of typos, grammar & punctuation errors.
BUT Divine is just that girlllllll!!!
I had a good time being in the world of PPE 💕 I really like Bacarri but that poly bs irritated me b/c be fr! I’m glad Bacarri stood on some type of business at the end b/c she was definitely embarrassing herself

I was yelling at Divine half the book because she going out sad. She knew the deal and still entertained Bacarri even let him hit raw from jump. He goes home to three women. Dafuq.
Bacarri definitely got in his feeling and started switching up. Wanting her to not dance, jelly if he thought she was with other dudes, never mind he has one, two three girlfriends.
The situation so messy at the point and Dulce super attached. The grandparents not being set straight is super messy. Divine coming to her senses but how long will that last. Bacarri throwing the keys on the floor was lame. His sister coming out her face to Divine was super lame.
I’m so amped to read book 2

The first chapter was nothing but an information dump that bored me. DNF only because it took too long to get to the meat and potatoes. I’ve heard great things about this author, and I will check out her catalog to see what else I might enjoy. But this one wasn’t it.

Ugh! Cion Lee done left me with a cliffhanger 😩 When is book 2 dropping because… I need more. I need to know what happens next with Bacari and Divine and Dulce.
I actually like that this story is toned down in the toxic and doing the most level of drama that this author’s earlier books encompassed, but still had a healthy level of angst/drama to keep the story juicy/entertaining. I, personally, do not care for the corny Hallmark movie type of romance tropes as they come off super predictable and boring to me.
This story is about more than a man having his cake and eating it too by way of his polyamorous relationship. It’s also a story of forgiveness, pushing forward through adversity, and knowing your value and worth and standing on it. Even though Bacari is living a lifestyle I don’t agree with, I respect him doing what makes him happy me always being upfront and honest with everyone involved. But Divine is showing him what a woman who knows her worth is not willing to accept. He met his match with this one. Now I must wait to see what happens next. 😩

Imagine starting a book thinking you
Know what is going to happen, even though you actively avoid reading the synopsis. This isn't rhe story you think it is and these characters are nothing like you assume they will be, in the best way. I'm still upset because I genuinely enjoy both Baccari and Divine and I just knew I was going to dislike him. Now here I am, taking my butt to book 2 because I am invested.
I gave this one five stars but if you're an English major or have a side/main gig as an editor, you may not. There were a few typos but the book is still very coherent and they took nothing away from the story. If proofreading is your life work. You may have a differing opinion. If enjoying a great story line and we'll rounded characters is your reason for reading, pick this one up.

wow!
This was a ride, I went in blind and I was not disappointed. I cackled a lot! Bacarri is in a poly relationship with 3 women and has been content until in walks Divine. I enjoyed Divine’s character so much and her grind to give her newborn Dulce the life she deserves. Bacarri got a taste of some medicine he doesn’t like… he is a man that normally gets what he wants but Divine was the match for him to change all of that! She had Bacarri out of pocket on more than one occasion and I was here for it.

Good Story
This book has me all over the place. I love that Cion tackled a topic that I haven't read about before and is doing a great job with it. What a tangled mess that Bacarri and Divine are in. Of course I'm rooting for them. Cion did an excellent job of building their relationship and navigating each of their feelings as they figure out their situationship. I can't wait to see how things end.

Wasn't expecting to like this so much because idfw any stories with poly couples. Honestly, Divine's perspective was the exact same as mine had I been in her shoes.
When you want something but you also don't wanna play yourself by admitting it. To share your man with somebody is not an easy feat.
This book reminded me of what I've always told myself subconsciously. I can love somebody but I love myself more than to accept anything less than 100% effort.

I need Divine to stand on business! Yes, she knew Bacardi situation beforehand but when he was willing to admit they both allowed things to get more serious than intended, he still was refusing to let go of his pre-existing situations. Can’t wait to see how this all unfolds.

better than good
You know I went into reading this book with low expectations. But baby I was turned every way but loose with this book! It’s absolutely better than good! I sit up until 5am reading lol. Definitely about to breeze on over to part 2
