First published 1952. I think no poems have been added in later editions; mine if from 1961. in 366 pages an excellent anthology of mostly well-known poems from England and America. Intended for students and teachers, it's a compact take-along full of favorites. An English major won't find much here that he or she did not know about, but let other anthologies do that. This is chronological from Chaucer to T.S. Eliot.
