The only way to get past, your past, is to marry a respectable woman says Jackson's campaign manager. Since the Governors job is what he wants and needs to be able to make the changes for the education program that is so important to him, he goes looking.
And in a shelter, he finds Rose, a woman raised in the foster care system who though she makes vey little money at her job she makes it her mission to cook and provide meals for the youngest members who mostly live on the streets and their only hot meal comes from the shelter.
She is a perfect match to make over Jackson's bad boy image, a perfect wife to take him to the Governor's office. His offer of 5 million dollars is something she can't refuse. And so a deal is struck, it should all be a easy business deal but neither of them are ready for the hot feelings that develop from the first meeting..
This is a totally hot and sexy book and I am looking forward to finding book 1 and 2. Delilah Fawkes does a great job and many thanks to her and Goodreads.

Good story with a happy ending. Strong main characters but don't be fooled by the sexy and steamy scenes...this story has an important lesson for all readers..too many children live in poverty and have very little to look forward at the beginning of every day. The author manages to bring this issue to light while she manages to write a contemporary romance book. I received a copy of this book as a Goodreads First Read...thank you Delilah Fawkes for the enjoyable read with a strong message. Well worth reading.

I really enjoyed this story. I didn't like the first two stories in this series as I didn't feel like the characters had a lot of chemistry and I found them cold. However, this one was awesome! I loved both characters and Jacks was one hot man!

It’s nice to see how this series progresses, and it’s even better to see Max’s older brother Jackson coming into his own here. We learned in the last installment that there was a bit of a divide with the brothers from growing up, with Max assuming that Jackson took a role in the family outside the business out of spite, but it’s nice to see that it was instead a desire to follow his own passions. We knew of his political aspirations, so it’s great to see that at the forefront of this third book.

At the onset of this book, we learn that Jackson ha the same kinky tastes as Max and Chase, but that he’s chosen to put those in the past for the most part as he’s on his quest to be Governor. The issue that he’s facing now is that he’s learned through his campaign advisor that a woman that he ‘played with’ in the past as a BDSM club is now claiming that it was something more sordid than all that, and it’s going to compromise his campaign. What they decide is that he needs a bride who’s on the up and up to offset those rumors when they come out.

Enter our leading lady Rose – a woman who volunteers with homeless children, making them dinner each week because she knows first hand that sometimes the meals they get at school or the shelter are the only meals they get. She has been through the foster system herself and knows what it’s like to have few options and to finally find someone who cares for her in the way a child needs it.

When Jacks sees her in action, he realizes that she’s perfect for what his advisor thinks he needs, and now he has to convince Rose that she can take the offer of a lifetime – $5Million dollars for a year of her time and a marriage.

The journey that our story goes on from here is a sweet one. We see that she’s willing to ‘sell herself’ because she knows what she can provide for all those kids. She’s willing to set aside part of herself also because Jackson is attractive, powerful and he seems genuine. All the platforms that he talks about in his speeches align to what she wants to do to improve the quality of life for the kids she sees every day and that alone is enough to buy her time.

Jackson wakes up something inside Rose that’s intense. He treats her the way that she deserves and yet she struggles to accept it. They go on dates that mean something to her and they spend time that brings deeper parts of themselves out in the most genuine and sweet ways. All while teasing out the passion and chemistry that they have on such a dominant and powerful way. When they learn at their wedding that someone wants to out their secret behind the relationship and the wedding, we see the story take a turn for the worse.

Jackson enlists the help of Max and Chase and their wives to try to suss out who’s behind the blackmailing. Rose and Jackson go on their honeymoon and try to enjoy what their relationship has turned into, something that actually feels real to both of them, but there’s the undertone that everything will crumble. The threat from the blackmailer is that Jackson needs to change his campaign promises and give up a lot of what Rose believes in him in order to keep the lies quiet.

I’m sure that all the readers know who the blackmailer is, but in the story, the characters can’t quite sniff it out. They search in the office of the opposing candidate and come up empty. They sniff out Jacks’ office and come up empty. They have no idea who is behind it all, yet the threats keep on coming.

When Jackson realizes that he’ll have to do what the blackmailer wants in order to protect Rose as he’s realized and admitted to himself that he loves her, his plan backfires. She loses respect for how quickly he walks away from his beliefs…..and we see the story take a sad turn.

It’s a race to find out who’s behind the threats, while Jackson also has to figure out how to win Rose back. How to remind her that he’s a man worthy of her respect and her trust.

Similar to how all the other stories played out in this series, we see dynamic highs and lows, we see anxiety and we see romance. Tears, love, and heat….all wrapped up nicely in a bow. I’m sad that there are no other characters to take on this journey, but at least we got three books out of it.

‘Tied to Him’ Is the third novella instalment in the 'Billionaire's Beck and Call' series and one that got me cheering! I loved the whole concept behind the novella, not to mention the return of a character I was really looking forward to getting to know better. I also LOVED LOVED LOVED how hot and passionate some of the scenes were not to mention the sizzling chemistry that sparked between our two main characters.
I was hooked from the first sentence. There is just no way to lie about this. I have greatly enjoyed Delilah Fawkes' writing in the past, and this was no change compared to her previous writing. I loved how this time she concentrated on such a real and touching piece as a background to the story.
The novella is written in third person past tense and alternated between Jackson's perspective and Rose's. I really enjoyed the addition of the male's perspective in this novella, as I felt that the previous two really missed out in some ways. It really gave an in depth and insightful look into both sides of the story and made it just so much more interesting to read! Jackson Pierce, brother of Max – the billionaire from the previous novella –, was a real enigma to me. Rose Turner was your average but special caring belle. Together, these two were really my FAVOURITE duo so far out of all novellas. They just worked so well together!
I thought that character development went really neatly in the novella, despite its short length and quick story. I got a hang of who was who and what they were like really quickly, allowing me to form bonds with the two main characters and to really understand them. I really liked the way the characters grew WITH each other because of their love and support. It really shone through in this novella for me.
The plot was well laid out and had a quick but comprehendible progression that made the story fun and engaging to read. It had lots of feeling and tension to it that really have it that little something.
I loved the ending! It was so absolutely gorgeous! And so satisfactory too! It was also exactly what I felt was missing in the past two novellas and it really outdid itself! I loved the plain yet lovely language the author used, as well as the absence if spelling mistakes which sometimes ran prevalent in self-published books. There were a couple of typos but they were really easy to miss and ignore.
Congratulations to Delilah Fawkes in publishing her third novella in the ‘Billionaire’s Beck and Call’ series!

This was okay. These are my favorite type of billionaire stories where the hero propositions the heroine into fake dating him. However, this story did not grab me. I liked the characters, but something was missing. I felt the execution was poor. Also, I think it would have been better if the story was written in one POV - the hero's The switch in POVs happened to quickly..

The angst was mediocre. I like a bit more in these type of stories.

The heroine works as a volunteer at a food pantry when the hero approaches her and offers her 5 million dollars to be his fake girlfriend for a year while he runs for governor. The hero was outed by a woman he previously had sex with that he liked spending time in a BDSM club so he needed a good girl to help him fix his image.

This book is without doubt the best of the Beck and Call series.

I really liked Rose and Jackson. They both had their reasons for getting together....him for his political career and her for her charity work. They are both strong characters, who both go into it with their eyes wide open.

One thing I would say is that the blurb about the book is far too detailed and gives a lot of the story away.

I would recommend this series to my friends as all 3 books are extremely well written and well edited and flowed nicely from start to finish.
