That’s actually a sequel but if I compare it to the prequel I’m not even really sure which one was better …I do have to say that I only really full felt the first story. It was really heartbreaking but also beautifully told. The second one was okay not really my favorite and the third one hit again! So all in all I am pretty satisfied but Someone I still loved the prequel a bit more I guess.

2.5 stars. This is the sequel to '1en no Otoko/One Yen Man'. Once again the art is good, the only reason I wanted to read this book is because the previous book hinted that this contained my favorite couple. It actually mainly featured another couple, Detectives, which was okay and some parts for even a little cringy (the rape parts), but overall decent.
My couple was featured at the end, I think chapter 4 or 5 and the couple was not quite the same as it was in the previous book. It was the same characters but they felt ooc. They also looked older and the one kept calling the other one master which in the previous book they called each other by their first names.
It says the that scanlation is unfinished but this felt like well-rounded book and everything was wrapped up for all the couples so as far as I'm concerned it's complete!

More like 2.5 stars or less, if it wasn't for Monden's talent to draw attractive bara. So much wasted potential, ugh!

Her stories could be 4 to 5 stars, but she fucks up with tropes, and then saves it in other scenes. Aside from the plot, I love her style. While I'm reading my rating jumps from 2 to 4 stars, back and forth.
The first story is about two police men, as seen on the cover. The story would have been mediocre if not for the fact that the bottom gets raped by a lunatic and the top - beardy guy - heals him with the power of penis. Seriously, sexual healing does NOT apply to trauma, like, um, I don't know...RAPE!
Yet, Monden draws the dark haired, bearded guys so deliciously well I'm even more pissed at her for fucking up her story.
And then the story goes on to apoligize the rapist because the victim was a closeted gay anyway and his rape opened the gates to his true self so- SHUT UP!
NO AMOUNT OF HIDDEN SEXUALITTY/LATENT HOMOSEXUALITY IS ENOUGH TO DEFEND RAPE AS A TRUTH FINDING EXPERIENCE! GNYAAAA!
Oh, I forgot: tops healfucks bottom while bottom's drunk and emotionally upset because the rapist died before he could kill the rapist himself.
Good job, author.
I may sound crazy but could we at least try having therapy?
Usually, that helps victims of abuse/rape way better than another cock.

The second story is about a former tutor-pupil relationship (don't worry, no underage creepiness!), where the top marries a girl because she's pregnant but years later shits going down and does it sound tedious?
If so, imagine reading it. Again, the art couldn't carry the mediocre plot. I mean, a good sign something is wrong is if I don't remember the characters' names and that the names don't matter anyway because "top" and "bottom" are descriptive enough for you to know what I'm talking about.
The third story continues a short story by the same author in the manga 1円の男 1-en no Otoko . It's a short chapter on Kyo and Kijima and how Kijima becomes bottom. Now THIS was interesting. I like Kijima, he is a very fascinating character, and switcher relationships are way more fun anyway. This story nudged my rating up by one star. Though I might change it to 2* again, because looking at my review I see how fucked up the bad parts are.

Spin off dari 1-nen no Otoko/Man of 1 Yen. Ada 3 pasangan dlm cerita ini. Aku suka semua cerita mereka. Kayanya bakal kucek semua karya Monden-sensei, soalnya cocok sama seleraku, hehehe.
Di chapter terakhir buku ini adalah sambungan dari kisah young master yakuza x his right-hand man, yg merupakan favoritku. XDD Aku paling suka sama reversible couple alias seke, hahaha. Soalnya dalam BL world di dunia nyata itu ga ada yg fix terus posisinya sebagai seme atau uke, bisa dibilang kalo mikirnya gay itu sekalinya seme bakal jadi seme terus atau totally uke bakal uke terus itu mah cuma imajinasinya sebagian fujoshi, haha, jadi kalo ada yaoi manga yg pasangannya fleksibel bgt bisa gantian jadi seme dan uke tuh menurutku lebih terasa real.
Apalagi kalo para tokohnya digambar dgn maskulin, tdk terlalu kecewek2an tubuhnya, bukannya tdk ada cowok yg kecewek2an sih, di real life juga ada cowok yg manis dan cantik seperti cewek atau androgini, tapi kalo maskulin x maskulin baru terasa bgt itu BL abis, kalo cantik x maskulin ibaratnya yg cantik ga terlalu beda dgn cewek, cuma dada rata dan plus kelamin pria saja, hahaha, apalagi kalo yg anunya kecil bkn main seperti punyanya anak SD khas karya salah satu yaoi mangaka *lupa namanya*, bnr2 serasa baca komik josei jadinya, -____-" bkn yaoi lagi krn cowoknya super feminin pake banget. Masih mending kalo cantik dan androgini tapi tdk feminin tubuhnya, tdk berlekuk bgt pinggang dan pinggulnya seperti milik wanita maksudnya, masih khas tubuh pria yg maskulin. Ada tuh tipe cowok gini, mukanya cantik bgt tapi badannya atletis.
Sebenarnya aku rada ilfil kalo liat cowo brewokan/jenggotan dlm yaoi manga, tapi oyaji (paman2) yg bawahannya bos yakuza itu tipe yg ga bisa dinilai dari tampangnya, haha. Keliatan ganas di luar kaya singa, tapi dalamnya polos dan jinak, kaya kelinci. Aku ngakak abis2an waktu pertama kali liat dia ke Love Hotel, reaksinya itu priceless bgt deh. Bagi sebagian org mungkin bakal pikir model2 yakuza muka garang macam dia mah udah biasa ke Love Hotel, tapi ternyata dia malah blm pernah ke sana sebelumnya. XD Pgn bgt ngeliat lanjutan kisah bos muda yakuza x oyaji bawahannya ini. XD
