The world believes mild-mannered Emma Ness is married to gorgeous Hollywood producer Josh Owens. After all, they saw the wedding photos on the cover of People magazine. But no one, aside from her brother and Josh’s best friend, knows that the marriage is a sham, a con designed to convince A-list actor William Ransler that Josh isn’t a womanizing bastard and persuade him to star in Josh’s latest film.
With their faux nuptials behind them, Josh and Emma now face four months of pretending to be in love or they risk tipping off Ransler, and the rest of the world, to their deception.
But living together and working together, haunted by one night of unparalleled passion, isn’t as easy as either one of them anticipated. Except when it’s too easy.
The lines between real life lust and make-believe love blur quickly when you’re forced to see the object of your obsession every day.
Fateful events force Josh and Emma to face the reality of their feelings, and just might spell the end of their twisted arrangement.
This final installment of the Twisted series features Destiel shipping, dangerous conveyances, passionate embraces, and a little bit of HEA!
Mora Early was born and raised in a small town in the mountains. She was decidedly NOT a girly girl. As a child, she hated pink and the 'gushy' parts in movies. However, one day in her early teens she stumbled upon a romance novel left by the previous occupants of her new house. With all her books still packed away, she decided to give it a try. She had to have *something* to read, after all!
The rest, as they say, is history.
Now living in Savannah with her husband, her cat Cat, and her dog Willie (as in Shakespeare), Mora is writing full-time while trying not to wilt in the Georgia heat. On the upside, she says the humid atmosphere helps her write those steamy scenes easily!
This is the conclusion to Emma and Josh's story. I gotta admit, I got a little annoyed with Josh in this story. He kept punishing Emma for her deception, but I think it was pretty clear who the real Emma was. She was genuine even when she was in character, parts of who she was rang through. He was kind of an idiot for not realizing that. I felt bad for Emma when he constantly made comments or pushed her away. What he didn't realize was that all those little pieces of her personality is what he liked about her. He was attracted to shy, efficient Emma and he was turned on by seductive, confident Madame Butterfly Emma. He asked her to fool everyone into thinking they were a normal happy couple and then gets annoyed that she does it so well. Poor Emma just couldn't win. But the end made it worth it I think. I loved the ending.
I just wish this could have been one book instead of 4 short stories. I hate that by the time I finished all the short stories I spent about $10.00! That is such a rip off and because of that I knocked it down a star. It ticks me off. So although I really enjoyed this story, I will most likely not be reading more from this author if all of her stories are like this.
I did find one mistake in this book though, numerous times in this story her green eyes are referenced or commented on, but at one part in this story Josh is thinking about her and imagines her with grey eyes. What the heck?
I just read on your blog that this book will be released within the week cannot wait btw ;) this was a great series I enjoyed them very much now just waiting for the 4th
I'm very much into this series the moment I read the first book to Josh & Emma's story. An interesting read but I think this last book lack something that will perfectly end the series.
I enjoyed this book much more than the previous. It is nice to finish a story but more than that Mora finally figured out to use page breaks in between scenes. These books have to have been self published because I really doubt a publisher would have let something like that slip.
I did enjoy the story from the get go and am glad that I stuck it out although I won’t be reading anything further.
My biggest critique would be to combine all of the novellas and make it one novel. And PAGE BREAKS. 😁
The truth will set you free! Not that easy when one needs to set his reputation straight and the other needs a family antique back. The conclusion to Twisted Arrangements was what I expected. Josh and Emma couldnt keep up the farce that they called a marriage or the growing attraction they have for each other. Both were going to break them. And it does.
But what they didnt expect from all the lies was true love. Josh walked in thinking he was only blackmailing Emma to do his bidding so he could get his movie produced and Emma only wanted what was left of her family but they both realized to late that what they have is more than the game they were playing. They found that one person that makes them feel whole. The one who they wanted to wake up next to. To share all their ups and downs. They found it in each other.
But it may be to late. Their lies are coming back around full circle and no one is save, especially them. They have everything to lose. Can they salvage the pieces left? Can they finally admit how they truly feel for the other?
note to author: I really wish this was a full length novel.
The final book to this series is a cute read. It is well written. There were a few noticeable editing issues, but nothing too big. I didn't feel that this was as good as the prior books, but still and enjoyable conclusion to their story.
I hate to admit it, but I got sidetracked and forgot to finish this series. Dumb me! I loved it. Josh and Emma get their HEA. If you haven't read any of Twisted Arrangement yet I recommend you do
Pode o Josh confiar na Emma, e o casamento deles passar a ser real? O capítulo final desta love story mostra como o THE ONE é aquele, mesmo que comecemos com o pé errado.
