Graphic Novel
(SPOILER ALERT)
Summary:
Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo, Miroku, and Sango continue their adventure to retrieve the sacred jewel shards. The book is separated into three chapters (or episodes), the first being Shippo's love interest (where he and Inuyasha defeat an exorcised demon), the second a development of the relationship between Sango and Miroku (where Miroku overcomes his nature of... well, hitting on women, and rescues a princess), and finally, the last chapter, where the reader leaves Inuyasha smashed into the floor, and the rest of the companions trapped in a miniature world(this devised by an evil Sage, the residents are harbored for their spiritual power, and fed to a demon tree, who promises the fruit of longevity).
Critique:
This was my first experience with manga-- so once I figured out how to read it properly (I always knew it was backwards, but you read right to left, top down... I think...) it was actually really good. I wish I had started with the first one, so I would have fully understood this book-- but it wasn't available.
