i liked some of it, and by the looks of it its a newer author so i dont want to slag it off too much but idk some of it gave gcse vibes. loved the concepts, the ryhming poetry seemed a little forced at times for me. look on my notes and highlights if you want to see if its for you, i highlighted the stuff i didnt get but also what i loved :))
maybe i was just too tired to concentrate on meaning, so i'd still give it a read! :)

Whether you want a self discovery lesson, or a motivation speech, or a healing journey, or just something to remind you about how precious the things around you are. This book is for you! Reading this book has reminded me of the importance of this life that many people don't get to have. It reminded me that I have the power to do what I have to do. That I hold some meaning in this world and that I can do anything I put my mind to. This book teaches you a lesson that many people haven't learned or have forgotten. I cannot express too much because this book has the words to say it better than I ever could. This book will pull at your heartstrings but it will open your mind in a way never before. The layout is amazing and the poems in every section flow perfectly. The poems use the things from the real world to show how us and nature are easily connected. How this world is our world. How we all have a place in nature as if we are nature itself. Reading this book makes me see the importance of family, friends, feelings and everything else on this journey we call life. This book is a great thing to add to your collection and it's definitely worth the read.

I love how this book of poems is organized. Its fourteen chapters are cohesive and enable the topics of life which seems like a daunting task, but Mosesian did a beautiful job with this book and promotes self-love. There is a poem that can fit for every aspect of the day, and as I read, I noticed that the style and voice of this author was so present, descriptive, and calming to read. I plan on keeping this book handy to enjoy with my morning cup of coffee. The tone is uplifting which is a perfect way to start the day.
I especially loved the poem, “Falling in Love.” It is so beautifully written. Chapter 2 takes you through many milestones that fit so well and exhibit so many emotions, but my favorite chapter is chapter 7, “Loving Yourself.” For many people, this is hard to do. These poems all have similar titles, but the feelings they pulled from me were so inspiring.
Chapter 10 also spoke to me because I have struggled with anxiety in my life for a long time. I really enjoyed reading and reflecting on the poems in this chapter. It’s a great tool for reflection. I will recommend this book to any and everyone who loves poetry.

This is truly some wonderful poetry which really captures a lot of simple emotions, but presents them in a meaningful and impactful way through easy-to-read poems. I flew through this book and wouldn't mind going through it again! As the description says, it's like a friend explaining these themes to you, and who's guiding you through situations and feelings, which I feel is quite a unique demonstration. I highly recommend this if you love poetry! 5/5!

I bought this little book of poems and have been reading one or two a day a day. Some resonated, some were super corny but mostly they gave me pause to reflect on myself and my life and gave me strength to push through this grief that continues to haunt me. Some days are easier than others I just have to keep moving.

I feel as though this wasn’t the best place to start for me given this is my first time reading poetry, but I did like it.
I took my time reading through it, a couple pages a day and there were a few lines I highlighted because I really found I related to them or kept coming back to reread them.
I wouldn’t read it again, but it was nice to read through just the once.

This was not one of my favourite poetry books of the many I have read recently, and I think it may have been the more regimented form continuously that I just wasn’t enjoying as much. Lots of the ideas within the anthology were good and I liked those poems, but it did feel very repetitive in terms of formatting.
