At thirty-six, Cole Rossi has found the perfect submissive in Jessica Summers. The twenty-eight-year-old beauty is sexy, witty, and more than a little mischievous. She has been his to worship, discipline, and adore for the last three years, and he can't imagine life without her.
Master Cole is everything Jessica could possibly wish for in a dominant. He's powerful and caring, and has placed his diamond collar around her neck as a symbol of his love, respect, and commitment to her.
However, when Quinn Sutherland, Jessica's former master, returns to Club Submission for the first time in four years, their idyllic D/s relationship is thrown into turmoil. There was always bad blood between the two men, and Cole is well aware that nothing would give his nemesis more pleasure than taking Jessica from him.
Unsettled by events, Cole uses tough love to resolve the situation. Will his strategy work, or will it backfire and drive Jessica straight into the arms of his bitter rival?

I live these two and was so happy they got their in story, and they didn't disappoint! Cole and Jessica have been around the entire series, and have interacted with all our couples. Jessica is the playful imp and Cole her devoted, but stern, Master. Every time they appeared in a scene, you could feel there devotion to each other coming off them in waves, and you always wanted more. We start with Jessica's previous, and only other, Master coming back into town and driving by the club. You get the picture right away, he is a selfish bugger, and walked away from Jessica without a backward glance four years ago after two years together. She begged him to stay or take her with him, and he just shrugged her off. Oh, and he also cuts down virgin forest to lay pipelines, just to further vilify him. Cole and Jessica are doing great, after three years together, and a collaring months ago, Jessica has agreed to move in with Cole. They are both over the moon, and Cole is looking forward to punishing his sub for her tardiness when he sees Quinn. He isn't happy, as Jessica was a mess when Quinn left and Cole picked up the pieces and put her together again. He confronts and tries to get rid of Quinn by telling him some stories and hopes it worked. He gather Jessica and off they go to scene in private Quinn didn't leave, and finds out he was lied to by Cole and why, and plots to get Jessica away from Cole. Jessica still has no idea what is happening and happily moves in with Cole only to find out Quinn is back. Cole knows she needs to face him and put the matter to rest, but Jessica isn't sure which causes Cole to have to force his hand. Jessica has to do this on her own, walk away from Quinn and choose Cole on her own and that is the decision she needs to make to get the life she wants.
This was a wonderful journey taken by a long-time couple that is deliriously happy but still has that one piece left to finalize and solidify their relationship. They will make you smile, laugh and cry, yes you will cry for them, and you will get angry and frustrated with them too. All the things that make them human and good characters, will make you ride this journey with them to its' final conclusion - and cheer with them in the end!
As the owner of an extremely successful construction company, Cole Rossi knows exactly how to give an order and see that it is followed, whether on the job or in his bed.
At the lowest point in her life, Jessica Summers finds the true meaning of belonging.
There is a fine line Cole must tread to give Jessica everything she needs, while still maintaining his authority. What he will never tolerate is her harboring feelings for an ex that has absolutely no business in her thoughts. She must decide for herself if what they have is worth facing her worst fears and conquering them.
The D/s relationship between Cole and Jessica is a wild blend of pain, submission and absolute ecstasy. So it seems surprising to me that Jessica is as vulnerable and unstable as she is. I also get the uneasy impression she feels like she is less than nothing without her Master. In my opinion, it takes characters that are very secure in their skin to make a story like this come to life.
