I wasn't sure about this one, as I was used to the darker stuff (says more about my mind ahaha). Nevertheless, I found this to be a surprisingly easy read. I'd finished it without too much effort and was surprised how quickly I'd finished it.
The stories were light; I did chuckle a little at the end of some of the stories, because as the name says, they may be light, but they still have twists to them. I particularly enjoyed "Serious Crime" and "Coming out", because they brought up particular subjects that I had experienced (perhaps not in the same subject matters, but the principles behind them).
For "Serious crime", once you've read it, you'll understand that there have been several jokes about this very thing, and that it says more about the way the Police prioritises things more than anything.
"Coming out" - I related with the central character here because I am the very different one in my family in terms of my interests but also from a lot of my extended family members (grown men do not speak in depth about comic books, spandex clad heroes etc. They speak of business, and work and mature things). So the twist was quite nice, and reading the story back, did make much more sense. It's like watching the 6th Sense, you rewatch it and realize how stupid you were for missing the obvious clues!
The art: as with Dark, the art is different in style from story to story, so it gives you a sense that the stories are not connected. However, I'm unsure if Light is following the rules of Dark, with the subtle hints of the stories being connected. I'll have to read it again.
All in all, a great read for someone wanting to enter the world of comics, or someone wanting to read a comic that isn't about spandex clad heroes or monsters.
Won't lie, still prefer the Dark stuff. I guess I'm Twisted that way.
