Skin Shows: The Tattoo Bible

Rate this book
Tracing a global journey through the history and culture of tattoo art, this is a rich and provocative pictorial survey of an ancient art form that, until recently, remained hidden in our society€™s cultural underground. Above all, it is a book about people and personalities—skinheads, circus freaks, Buddhist monks, tattoo fetishists, and slightly more ordinary individuals all reveal their obsessions with and dedication to the ritual of ink and pain.

I have always been a huge fan of full body suit-tattoos and the history behind them. I recommend this book for those who want to see cultural influence of body art. The book not only talks about icons in the industry but also about the different tools that are used for various effects. Good history, great art.
