Three friends made an error in judgement 10 years ago and now are being made to pay the price. An attempt at misguided justice tears a family apart and brings unlikely forces together.
I know what voodoo you did last summer. Loved the very original take that Rysa L Clark brings to paranormal romance. It started like a grisly revenge horror story (I love horror) and developed into an intriguing romance with voodoo, magic and interesting plot twists. Who knew a gator-infested swamp could prove to be so romantic? As a woman with lots of brothers, I appreciated the heroine's complicated family dynamics. The supporting characters developing M/M relationship was adorable and I look forward to reading more about them. There are some spelling/grammar issues that could be addressed, but they are easily overlooked in the context of an engaging story. All in, a very promising debut novel and author. When is the next book out?
