FIRST IMPRESSIONSKimberly Miller and Logan Pederson would each get a sizable legacy - but only if they spent two weeks together, with no less than two hours per day alone. There was one small they were perfect strangers.Logan wasn't ready for the woman who arrived at the remote hunting lodge. Among the other guests, Kimberly stood out like a peacock in a barnyard. Even though she looked...strange, he wasn't about to fly the coop and leave that colorful, vivacious creature alone with a pack of macho hunters. Besides, he was starting to like Kimberly. Suddenly, two weeks didn't seem like nearly enough time...

I like Kimberly and Logan. Most of the side characters are fine. I did not enjoy the tension caused by Bill’s attitude towards Kimberly even after she kept indicating her disinterest. Rape culture is front and centre when the female character has to be so careful to be safe instead of the mature male being expected to be respectful. What’s worse is he never actually does anything wrong beyond being persistent in the face of rejection. He never crosses the line but he’s still scary because of the expectation that he might.
"He, too, became a happy slave to the woman whose three-colored hair now had red roots. Logan looked at those roots and thought of other decorations that must be that color."
EWW. How is this book supposed to be romantic? This book was so toxic from the rape-y men to the fact he pretended not to see, including putting a bell on her.
