Heir to a legacy he didn't expect. Lord of a realm he didn't even know existed. However, Bryce only sees the many obstacles left in the wake of his father's death. Overwhelmed by events he didn't expect, and his soul shredded by betrayal what is Bryce to do?
Yet, there is no time for pain. No time to allow himself to wallow. Ready or not, he must save two worlds from a madman bent on total domination. Is Bryce ready to have the weight of two worlds pressed against his shoulders? Can he stop Zelter from opening the portal to a a new but old world? Can he become leader of a civilization that he barely knows about? Is Bryce up to the challenge? Only time will tell.
Poor grammar and sentence structure and an apparent unwillingness to use commas didn't help the readability of this novella at all. I lost patience and gave up at the halfway point.
By this stage I should have been able to work out the basics of what was going on and who all the characters were and which side, either good or bad, they were on. Don't have a clue.
Definitely one for the DNF pile. Can't recommend it either.
One example: Even though the way I found the office it didn't look like anyone was here before us.
