This was an interesting crossover - combining Edgar Allen Poe's 19th century Baltimore with Batman. Told by EAP, we see him as a young, failing journalist for the Baltimore Sun sent to report on the murder of a local elite. As the murders pile up, Edgar tries to solve the mystery - first hindered (as he doesn't know if he can trust him), then helped by "the Bat-Man". Batman is always there to save EAP and as their lives become more in danger they team together to catch the murderer before he gets to them!
