Reading fan fiction is fun, satisfying and very refreshing. And this is one of the fan fiction storyline I loved.
I have read some of his stories and I like the following original ideas of teddylonglong:
(a) Harry was sorted in 2 houses by Sopho, the Sorting Hat to gryffindor and slytherin three times - the original timeline, when Harry and Severus time traveled to the past, and lastly during the changed timeline. I don't blame Sopho to be annoyed, lol!
(b) Draco together with Blaise are friends with Ron, Hermoine and Harry. He also doesn't trust his father Lucius and warned Harry the first time they've met in the original timeline. Draco also helped Harry to destroy Tom Riddle's diary together with Amaterasu the basilisk in the Chamber of Secrets.
(c) Snape snake animagus and Draco's godfather. He offered to be Harry's permanent guardian a month before the end of first year then he found out that he is the real father of Harry as revealed by Dumbledore and was confirmed by Lily's letter after his 12 birthday and before going to the past. Severus was with Harry the whole time when Peeves the poltergeist played a prank by adding basilisk scale to the dreamless sleep potion which resulted to relieving Harry's nightmares. He also accompanied Harry to travel back in time to save Lily and the rest of the magical world from Voldemort's killing spree.
(d) Harry was instrumental in Dumbledore not hiring Lockhart. He travelled with Severus to the past to save Lily. He became friends with his father, mother and the rest of the Marauders! He also discovered the Chamber of Secrets by accident and Amaterasu told him about the secret library, secret potions lab, Slytherin's parselscript potions books including a diary. Harry translated most of the books and stumbled to the wolves cure potion which Remus tried. Dumbledore published it as translated by Harry. Finally Harry was able to vanquish Voldemort by transporting him to a machine and then wishing him to be cow dung then scourgified (what an ending for the Dark Lord)!!!
(e) There are different levels of magic - accidental magic, wand magic, wandless magic, wish magic which Harry is capable of. Harry taught the marauder's gang to be animagi
(f) Magical World Orphanage!!!
